Spanish, English
The stone was the same, the students the same, the magic the same. Somehow though it was all different. Students from everywhere seemed to exactly that, everywhere. There was no order in the Hall it seemed, only chaos. Agata was sure which way was up, or where to go. She'd seen fellow Castelobruxo students through partings in the crowd, and she tried to latch onto someone she knew. Her siblings had left her for herself, finding friends amongst the crowd. Apparently it was the best idea to have ever come their brains. Agata huffed. Yeah, no. Scanning the room again as she came to one of the long wooden tables, her eyes lit up as she spotted Sherlock Dols sitting quite alone on another bench. Coming up behind the poor boy, she quickly grabbed his shoulders, shouting in his ear. "Rawr!" Letting go, she slid in next to him on the seat, bumping his shoulder. Slipping into her natural Spanish dialect. "Hi! How are you? Do you think it will be this busy for the whole month?" She couldn't imagine having to compete for space in the stony castle for three entire weeks! No matter how big it seemed! Hopefully the Castelobruxo students would be allowed to eat in their quarters, or even better, outside. If the weather permitted... Chancing a glance around, she stifled a smile at Sherlock, who seemed slightly apprehensive, "Seen any Correa boys yet?"

When they were informed that this year, their school got invited to visit the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the UK. Maxi thought that he was super lucky. He already heard so many stories about that school, so of course, the young Colombian boy would be very thrilled to meet the students and their professors there. The journey to Hogwarts was a bit tiresome and for someone who lived in the generally warm country like Colombia, Maxi wasn't quite used to the cold and wet weather in the UK. Once they settled down, along with the other schools, they were guided to the Great Hall to participate in the welcome feast.
The moment they opened the door of the Great Hall, Maxi was quite impressed of the view inside, clearly they put a lot of effort into the decoration, "Whoa, cool! So this is what their Great Hall looks like." Maxi complimented in Spanish.
At the moment, the Great Hall was kind of crowded with a lot of students from different school. Sadly, as a first year, Maxi didn't know many students of his own school yet.
This is going to be a bit bothersome...
He thought to himself while scratching the back of his head, not sure what to do. Was he going to randomly just approach a student and say hello? Well, his English wasn't that bad, so there shouldn't be any communication problems.
It only took a while for Maxi to find a familiar face who was at first siting alone not far away. At least he once made acquaintance with that boy before at Castelobruxo. Then he saw another girl greeted the boy, clearly another Castelobruxo student. "Hey, Amigos (friends)!", without any hesitation, Maxi happily walked towards them with a big grin on his face and waving at them to get their attention. Maxi greeted the brown haired boy first, and hoped he would remember him, "Yo, remember me? It's me Maximo, the very fresh and new little seedling first year you once helped out." And of course, it wouldn't be polite to ignore a pretty girl, he turned to look at her and said with a playful wink, "And nice to meet ya, Señorita (lady). May I have the honor to know your name?"

Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in FrenchAnd so once again, Ye-jun found himself walking through the door leading to the Great hall. By now, he was feeling pretty familiar with Hogwarts so he wasn’t too impressed by their decorations and little tricks. He liked the castle well enough and in fact thought it might have been a better fit for him than Beauxbatons was but didn’t dwell on it too much. Appearance and etiquette wise he was perfect for the French wizarding school and one could hardly argue about its beauty and high standards so yes, he was quite content with his life there. Still, that didn’t mean he couldn’t appreciate some of the things Hogwarts had and miss them dearly every time he left the old castle. For one, sports were much bigger thing here and people seemed less uptight in most cases. Then there was the fact that his cousin studied here of course…
Speaking of his cousin, for once Ye-jun wasn’t accompanied by her. Eun-ji said he was supposed to mingle with others as well although considering how antisocial she was recently, he found that statement highly hypocritical. He also had a sneaking suspicion that it was a mere excuse because of her general detached behaviour as of late. Did something happen after he left home this summer? Ye-jun had yet to gather enough courage to ask. Later, he promised himself once again as he sat down at one of the tables. He wasn’t particularly choosy about his seat. Eun-ji might have told him to socialize but he wasn’t necessarily eager to do so. He was hungry though. The food wouldn’t be as good as he was used to from home and his cousin but it would have to do. He did bring some Kimbap at least. His mother sent it to him before he left his school. It wouldn’t be enough to fill his stomach but he’d think of it as a treat. The wizard put the box on the table in front of him while surveying the other dishes surrounding it. He wasn’t really keen on any of them but he figured he could try some of the foreign ones. Something Spanish perhaps?

Lucia had forgotten that the foreign students were arriving today. It wasn't the first time - most of the arrivals had been missed by the Hufflepuff despite almost everyone else noticing the spectacle. At least this time there was no spectacle for Lucia to miss out on: the first any Hogwarts student saw of the students from other schools was at dinner on the evening of their arrival. Well, maybe 'dinner' was an understatement. The house elves of Hogwarts had outdone themselves, Lucia saw as she entered the Great Hall with pygmy puff River on her shoulder, with a full-blown feast of not only British foods but also what the fourth-year would have to assume were traditional foods from other countries, to make the visitors feel more at home.
Out of habit, Lucia began to make her way towards the newly enlargened Hufflepuff table, before she remembered that this was supposed to be an informal gathering. She could sit anywhere she wanted. Not that she had much of a desire to try something new, but she supposed she'd at least have a chance to sit with her friends from other houses. Not that she actually had many, now that she thought about it - or, not many she'd really like to sit with anyway. Scarlett Aden had been one of her few Gryffindor friends, but of course she left Hogwarts a few terms ago. There was @Cassandra Ironwoods of Slytherin, whom Lucia got along with, although she didn't get chance to see them much. Maybe they would be at this feast and Lucia could sit with them? But when she scanned the tables she couldn't see the brunette wix at all. Did she know anyone in Ravenclaw? Lucia answered her own question: @Eun-ji Lee Hunt, whom she couldn't see in the crowd but who maybe would turn up? It would be nice to sit with her if she did come.
Hoping that Eun-ji would appear, Lucia turned towards the Ravenclaw table, but was distracted by a familiar face. Of course - Ye-jun! Lucia hadn't seen the Beauxbatons boy since he returned to France after his last Hogwarts visit, but had kept up writing letters to him. She made a beeline for him and tapped him on the shoulder if he didn't see her. "Ye-jun! Hello! Can I sit here?" If Ye-jun agreed, Lucia would plop herself down on the seat next to him with a smile that was somewhere close to a grin. "How was the trip?" River, as if also greeting the boy, unfurled her absurdly long tongue and attempted to boop his nose with it. Wait... no - she was reaching for his nostrils. If Ye-jun didn't manage to dodge out of the way, Lucia would bat River's tongue away before she reached him. "Merlin, I'm sorry - pygmy puffs like bogies - she doesn't usually try it though." It was true: River was rather shy for a pygmy and generally kept herself to herself. "Can't train her though, no matter how hard I try."

Valentin turned to face the Japanese student who approached him with greetings. The fox-faced boy dipped his head charmingly, automatically eliciting the same from Valentin. Well-mannered, concluded the seeker-- a cheerful Mahoutokoro student with a radiant smile. Valentin’s keen silver-violet eyes flicked over the boy’s features, appraising whether he was a quidditch player or might make a strong one. There was something sly about the dark-haired fellow’s face that made Valentin wonder if he didn’t have a knack for getting away with things… but with a smile dismissing the thought, Valentin decided it wasn’t fair to judge based on such whimsical feelings.
“Kind of you to ask,” began Valentin, dusting off his most elegant English phrasing. It was a stock line he got a lot of utility from in polite society, and only a glimmer of his Turkic Russian accent remained. “I did not plan well, forgot to bring something to do when waiting for speeches to start.” Nodding slightly, Valentin smiled at the boy’s self-introduction. “Pleasure to meet you, Ginyami. I am Valentin Schnell, ‘the White Seeker of Durmstrang,’ they say. It is true, making your acquaintance would help relieve the slowness of waiting. I hope I can also speed your time with amusement.” Head turning slightly at an angle as his eyes remained locked on Ginyami’s, Valentin felt pleased at the way his own English came out. The other boy’s exceptional English didn’t fail to impress, and Valentin loved the sense of challenge this gave him in needing to equal the other’s eloquence.
“I haven’t seen you around before. I’m curious to learn about your interests.” Eyes scanning the fellow again as Valentin searched for more clues about Ginyami’s nature, the fine styling of the boy’s clothes struck the seeker as just as refined as his style of speech. Valentin wore his standard red Durmstrang school uniform, although a glint of silver from a single hoop earring peeked out from under his long white hair. On the middle finger of Valentin’s slender and long right hand, a featureless golden ring contrasted against his otherwise platinum features. “Does your name have a meaning, in your culture?" he continued with genuine curiosity.

Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in FrenchThe gentle tap on his shoulder was unexpected but Ye-jun wasn’t distracted enough to be frightened by it. He turned around thinking Eun-ji might have changed her mind and joined him after all but found out such was not the case. It was the next best thing however. “Lucia, hey!” He greeted the girl with a smile of his own. “Of course you can sit here.” He was already making space for her as he said so. “The trip was fine. Honestly, it's almost like a chore now. I think travelling here is only exciting the first time you do it.” Before he could add anything else though, a wild pygmy puff appeared and went straight for his nose. Luckily for him and unluckily for the little creature, Ye-jun managed to dodge the long tongue so it only got his cheek, which he didn't mind.
“Well hello to you too beautiful and what might be your name?” He greeted Lucia’s pet with an unusually cheery smile and proceeded to gently scratch its head (if the pygmy puff seemed okay with it). Care of Magical creatures was one of the classes that came naturally to the Ye-jun. He was often helping at his father’s vet clinic and magical or not, as most of the Lee family members, adored all animals to no end. He also found out those two groups weren’t as different as one might assume. Personality wise of course. By now, the boy was pretty good at understanding what they needed and was fast with his reactions. He got bitten a couple of times so he learned the hard way to respect and know the boundaries.
“No need to apologise, I know they do.” He waved his hand dismissively. “Such a strange habit. I guess the cuteness must be balanced out somehow.” The wizard finally addressed his friend’s concern. He really wasn’t bothered by it but he understood not everybody would be as understanding. “I’d say all pets are trainable as long as you figure out the right way to teach them. Animals have various personalities just like people do and with some, it takes quite a bit of time to figure it out. Especially if they are really smart…or lazy.” He’d seen plenty pets that have been both and wasn’t that just a nightmare for their owners. “Just remember that you can never achieve anything by force…it actually makes things so much worse. Other than that, I’m not sure if I can offer any more advice. I would have to get to know them better first. We could get better acquainted sometime before the ball and I’ll see if I can be of assistance? Only if you want of course.” After all, some people preferred to figure things out on their own terms. He wouldn’t be offended if the Hufflepuf refused his offer.

Another year, another ball in this horrifically eccentric British school. Not only was Henri salty about not being chosen as Champion for the Hexiwizard tournament (it would have been a vicious triumph to rub in his detestable mother's face) but he was yet again dreading another chaos within the walls of Hogwarts as all seven magical schools scramble to prepare for attendance in the upcoming Fall Ball. Last time he was here, Henri's impeccable outfit had been ruined, his evening spoiled because some people could not contain themselves from acting like children. Beauxbatons students lived a distinguished, prim and proper life in their academy so such behaviours disgusted Henri greatly.
This year however, he'd chosen to visit again with a vicious motive - discover who were the other schools' Hexwizard teams and secretly sabotage them if possible. Or, at the very least, affect their morals in a negative way to increase Beauxbatons' chances of winning. But that wasn't the only reason, of course. Over the course of summer Henri had discovered something even his father did not know of, and it involved the one and only Lucietta Mahler (@Everly Charlton) whom he'd have the delight to become acquainted with. Something he couldn't wait to reveal to the girl and reap the eventual benefits that could come with knowing one of the most taboo secrets in the Pureblood society.
But first, priorities.
"Remember what I told you, Vivienne," The dashing young devil said to his faithful minion companion in their native language to preserve secrecy, the two of them walking side by side into the Great Hall. "The tournament is coming up and we must ensure our Academy will become the winner. We gather information on the rival Champions and we enact our plans during the Fall Ball Hogwarts is organizing."
In truth, Henri didn't expect Vivienne to understand using underhanded means for the sake of victory. The Muggle girl was completely daft and naive. She followed everything he said because he was the closest and only 'friend' she had. Even though her stupidity annoyed him most of the time, the blond French had come to acknowledge her worth as somebody he could manipulate easily. And so it was the sole reason why he still kept her around him.
Lately Henri had been thinking he could take it one step further and charm her until she was utterly bound to him emotionally, but time was of the essence and so he'd wait to plan his steps carefully before going into it. For now, he'd focus on getting her to do the dirty work for his benefit.

Yasha eased into the Great Hall without a sound, well, except for the shower of sparkles that erupted from the door. While Hogwarts castle was a sight to behold, everything else about it seemed just as expected: full of itself and lacking in the reasoning behind that ego.
Smoothing the lock of black hair down over his right eye and dusting off his Koldovstoretz uniform, he stepped aside so that others could come in behind him. He never particularly liked traveling by portkey but it was definitely a better alternative than whatever showy, extravagant entrance their headmaster would have planned. This competition was not about community, it was about one-up-man-ship and everyone knew it. The faster Yasha could get out of here, the better.
With a sigh, he leaned against the wall and scanned the room for either a suitable seat, someone he knew, or someone who looked easy to annoy. That would definitely make this whole entire trip worth the while.
As he scanned the room filled with people far more friendly than he, he briefly wondered if he should have guided Oksana here or at least waited for her, but shrugged at the thought. She was a big girl. She could make her way here just fine, and, well, his slip in etiquette wouldn't reach his parents all the way in Russia anyway. Nor would any trouble making he did while he was here, come to think of it. Well, as long as he didn't get caught and sent home that is.

Castelbruxo’s arrival, much like the other schools, had been a particularly drab affair in Nuria’s opinion. She was not impressed. Not. At. All. No magical light shows. No call and response chants. No wild animals doing backflips. Nothing. NOTHING! The welcoming was as frigid as the temperature. Was this how Europeans treated their guests? Tuh. The nerve. Speaking of cold, she was even less used to that than the group of Beauxbaton students she saw shivering in a huddle. She’d be lying (no really, she would) if she said she hadn’t been warned.
All this contempt for an optional choice she’d made. After reading about previous Triwizard Tournaments, her expectations had been set incredibly high but she was disappointed now. Nuria, true to her emotions, carried a stank look on her face and did nothing to hide her intense displeasure as her school made their way to their assigned cabin. Only when adult eyes found her face did she force a fake, somewhat convincing smile of polite awe in her otherwise un-awe inspiring surroundings. Her brother, catching all her attitude from nearby quietly chided her in creole, something along the lines of not being rude and embarrassing their school and headmistress but Nuria hardly heard him for full lack of trying and she quickly darted out of his line of sight.
She did little to no unpacking, deciding she’d take things out as she needed them. She wanted to explore. She’d noticed the forest surrounding the grounds, heard the rules forbidding them from going in and knew that’s where all the promise of this land lied. She was set on finding a moment to sneak away from the rest of the school to check it out. Perhaps make a foriegn friend willing to show her the best ways to sneak around. Since she could explore her own school, she might as well explore theirs. But for now, she was starving and it was just about mealtime.
As they made their way through the Entrance hall to the Great Hall, she found she was a little more taken aback by the dazzling stars overhead. “The ceiling!” She stared up at it, wondering if it was the real sky or an incantation. With her eyes up and not ahead of her, she walked into the back of the person directly in front of her.
“Hey! Watch where I’m going, will you,” she said in Spanish. Whether she was serious or joking, she smirked in a way that made it hard to tell. She realized it was a boy from school in her year. Maximo if she remembered his name correctly. She barely gave him a moment to respond before she spotted two others from her school. Bold, though Nuria may have been, she was not quite bold enough to sit with the students who weren’t from home. “Mind if I join you?” Without giving anyone an opportunity to say no, she popped a squat on the opposite side of the table and took in the food options. “Any empanadas?” And hot sauce, she thought to herself, they’d better have hot sauce or I’m going home.

Owl / DM for Interaction
Today was the day. Today was the first day the young Duellist will visit Hogwarts. Ever since the Headmistress of Castelobruxo announce that the Brazillian school will visit the UK school, Ronnie could hardly wait. He immediately sent two owls. One for Cash - his dear beloved cousin - and one for Haley Rose - his beautiful crush -.
When he received a letter back from the former, in the said letter Cash only said great, don't b0ther me and find your own circle of friends which was a little frosty but Ronnie already get used to Cash nonchalant attitude. And so, when the second youngest of Ramírez stepped foot into the Great Hall of Hogwarts, he let out a low whistle.
Before he came to the school, he had pestered Cash on what to expect from the European school. Cash told everything explicitly and what Cash told him was delivered. His blue-grey eyes scanned the room. Searching for Haley's redhead but the wiz was nowhere to be seen with the large scale of people gathered in this one room.
But Ronnie hoping before or during the feast, Haley would show up because it is been so long since the last time the Portuguese boy saw the beautiful Haley Rose. Even though the pair send letters back and forth, that alone was not enough for the Castelobruxo student. But now, he must venture alone while waiting for Haley to show up.
Ronnie had a leg up. He had seen some familiar faces since he attend this year's Summer Camp. Although he did attend, he did not seems particularly close with the other International students nor any Hogwarts student in particular. One International student he did knew a bit close was Charles Alluring and the blonde boy was nowhere to be seen.
So, he walked up to one of the tables when some of his schoolmates already gathered. Their faces seem young and usually not Ronnie's own peer age group but since his own age group was nowhere to be seen, it was better to hang around them than be all alone at a table. "Hey, guys!"The fourth year greets his young friends in Spanish.
Ronnie's eyes bounced from one person to the next. Good thing Ronnie had a photographic memory and he knows who is who. "Mind if I sit with you?"The older student asks the group then he switches to Portuguese. Once his younger counterparts gave the permission, Ronnie squeezed in between the already packed wooden bench.
"How do you like it so far?"He questions the group. "Is it what you imagine to be like, more of what you expected, or less than what you wish for?"He inquired the group and his dimpled smile appears as he makes small talk while grabbing some of the feast that had been presented before his eyes.
