With the new school year beginning, it's quite easy to get overwhelmed with assignments, deadlines and of course all of the social events that will be starting soon. So a journal where you can utilize calendars, but also create your own lists and incorporate your own memory tricks just seems like an excellent idea. All students will be provided with a blank, dotted journal that students can customize and set up however they like. Snacks and drinks will be plentiful and all sorts of craft supplies, including some excellent academic (and non-academic) stickers will be scattered on all the tables. Each table will contain a stack of calendars (one for each month in a year) that students can tape, glue or otherwise secure in their journal if they choose to. It's all up to what the student finds most helpful in creating reminders, lists, tasks, etc.
