Confused maybe, hesitant to cast a spell within this layer of incessant smoke. She could barely see and it would cause her immense shame if she were to unintentionally target her teammate. So, for a moment, she held back, the incantation almost leaving her lips while her teammate's flipendo missed, lost among the haze of dark grey.

Finally, some decent action was happening once more. Logan & Regina would level their wands at each other once more. Both sent blazing blue lights at one another. Light on her feet, Regina manages to evade the Flipendo aimed at her; however, Logan would not be so lucky. The Flipendo cast by Regina would slam into her non-dominant shoulder, sending a shockwave of pain through her body, but the Badger would stay on her feet.

Aurelia once again turned her wand on her teammate, attempting to give her some reprieve from the blows she had suffered. Regina would feel some pain leave her for the first time in this duel, her muscles relaxed a little more, but most of all, she felt less like she would leave this duel off her feet.

"Feeling better?" Aurelia asked her teammate a question that was answered with a nod. An injured lioness was definitely a feisty one. Bam! The sweet sound of impact as Regina's spell casting proved again to be nothing short of impressive. "Be careful, Regina, you're still injured." The older Gryffindor whispered before turning back towards her opponent.

Logan was running out of ideas and to be honest, she was about ready to give up as well. At this point she hurt, everything hurt and she just wanted to lay down and take a nap. That was not something that would be happening anytime soon though. The girl could not just give up, that was not something she would normally do, so Logan was just going to have to push through for a little longer. Her thoughts on actually winning the match were beginning to crumble though, luck did not seem to be on her side that day.

Logan was dropping the kid gloves and sent the namesake of the blazing badgers roaring at Regina. The incendio would not hit completely, but it would still hit, scorching the lioness and setting the sleeve of her robe aflame. Though the pain seemed far less than it should have.

Gryffindor decided they were no longer interested in playing around as Regina & Aurelia levied their wands against the lone badger their spells phenomenally cast. Logan would do her best to evade, but it would be futile as her wand was thrown from her hand; to add salt to the wound, Logan would feel an immense impact in her chest. Logan’s feet lifted off the ground, and it would only be a matter of seconds before she joined her wand on the ground, not that it would help her find it.

Logan had just managed to hit the younger Gryffindor but was not sure what happened as in the next moment she was gasping for breath and had no idea where her wand was at. The Hufflepuff just wanted to curl up into a ball right there in the middle of the floor but managed to hold it together. She could do it, just a little but longer and this would be done with and she could sleep for however long she really wanted to, although she should probably go to the hospital wing with how many times her head had hit the floor so far that match. Logan just continued to lay on the floor with a quiet groan just wanting it to be over.

Be careful. Words that the younger Gryffindor did not at all heed. The short heal proved to aid her teammate's performance as the next spell shot like a canon, the sound on impact akin to gunfire as the knockback jinx did just as it would: knockback. And hard. Aurelia's own spell would hit its target, flicking the girl's wand far across the stage.

Throughout this duel, if there was anything to take away, it was that Aurelia's arcane potential was not meant for the offensive. It proved another point that no matter what it seemed, what she or others believed, her true intentions - those subconscious, did not see doing harm appropriate or necessary for that matter. Her spells to harm, the wind jinxes and flipendos, never saw to their target. Her teammate on the other hand... perhaps even a wand as forbearing as hers, harboured initial reluctance towards healing someone so vicious.

"You are on f i r e." Aurelia reminded, if Regina wasn't already aware of the flames lapping at her Gryffindor robes. Claiming to be doing just fine while presently on fire was insane. To think Aurelia had spent months with her as a roommate. If there was anything to worry about, perhaps Aurelia should keep a dagger under her pillow from now on just for good measure.

Time was running out for this duel. The end of the next round would make the end of the duel. Unfortunately, while Logan could get back on her feet, she would remain wandless for her last round. However, she was still on her feet, and that was impressive in and of itself.

Regina remained focused on her opponent attempting to incapacitate her adding more insult to her injury. The kinder option, in Santario’s opinion, would have been to render her unconscious instead of trying to just humiliate her. However, it seems her wand would betray her at the last minute. Regina could have sworn she had spoken the incantation properly and performed the movement correctly, but her wand only produced a small white light before fading out.

Aurelia would again aim at her teammate successfully providing more relief for Regina. The younger lioness might still feel a little worse for the wear like an old lady whose knees hurt when it rains. Nothing a nice nap wouldn’t fix.
