𝕿he raven-haired Gryffindor knew she would do no good to support her team with her current condition, so she'd opted to rest for this round and rely--albeit reluctantly--on Aurelia to attempt a healing spell. It was risky a move, but they had no other choice.

"Merlin's beard," Regina gritted her teeth when her teammate's Episkey failed. "Not that I don't appreciate your help, but you seem to be having trouble casting spells today."

From an outsider's point of view, Regina's remark might have come off as ungracious, but she wasn't necessarily jabbing at Aurelia's performance. After all, they were both trying their best. But if the Bogies didn't phase out soon, she feared she wouldn't be able to be any of use to carry victory for her House.

Logan growled as she pulled herself off the ground. "Really, that is your plan, give me a concussion so I can no longer attack." She called out in frustration as she rubbed the back of her head. Logan was extremely frustrated at this point and the headache beginning to form was not helping either. She probably should not have been taunting the Gryffindor team though, as she had no idea what they were capable of.

Aurelia literally didn't know why she was failing so many spells. Like the entity tatsu was being a pain in the ass - of course, Aurelia didn't know that, instead she blamed the cause on her lack of practice as the healing spell failed again. "I'm trying..." Almost desperate the words came out. Next spells could be better.

Regina Would brace herself for a hit that would never come, and while her partner had failed to heal her of her ailments, it would seem that Regina would overcome them from sheer willpower alone. The fog cleared from her mind, a full breath could be taken, and she no longer felt like the floor would be the best place to be right now. Regina had clarity once more.

Aurelia would abandon attempting to heal her partner to keep logan under wraps. However, the Hufflepuff had zero desire to be captured again. Logan would evade the attack with grace despite feeling sluggish and bogged down from breaking out of the last body bind.

Logan decided no one needed to see anymore and pointed her want to the air about them. A thick fog would quickly fill the area, making seeing one another much more difficult.

It seemed that Regina was finally able to overcome the nasty effects of the Bogies through sheer willpower alone - which wasn't a surprise, all things considered. Years of pulling through a tough upbringing with an emotionally reclusive mind allowed her to develop quite a knack for fierce determination. She couldn't possibly always rely on other people, after all.

Regina didn't feel lucid enough to attack right away, and had been prepared to dodge any incoming attack. However, she didn't expect their opponent to risk her own visibility and casted a thick Fumos into the air. Violet eyes narrowed dangerously - they were beginning to play on precarious grounds now.

"Yes, a shame that you cannot be bothered to stay down and save us all the hassle," Regina commented sarcastically in Logan's direction in response to the Badger's remark. "You would certainly look prettier unconscious on the ground."

Logan's goal at this point was not to knock the other team out, but to stay conscious for as long as possible. She knew that if she dropped again, chances were she was not getting back up. The Hufflepuff's only thought was to fill the area with smoke, if she was going to be by herself, she would rather risk her own sight as well as the other teams if she would be able to get away. Quickly the girl prepared herself for what was to come, trying to ignore the comments from the younger Gryffindor even though she started the banter in the first place.

It was frustrating to witness her spell miss its target for who knows how many times. Whereas her teammate was now taunting the hufflepuff with words. Not the smartest move, since she was already rather beat up. Now, the smoke didn't do much to help either team. Surely the lone Hufflepuff couldn't see in this? Or could she...

Logan aimed her wand at Regina, ready to strike her opponent, hoping to knock her out; however, right before she cast her spell, a feeling crept up deep inside her. It was like an ice cold hand reached through her ribcage and wrapped itself around her heart. It didn’t hurt, but it sent shivers down her spine and raised the hairs on the nape of her neck. Like that feeling, you were certain you were being watched, yet you knew no one should be there. Something felt wrong. Because of this and perhaps even the Fumos, her spell would veer wildly away from Regina.

Regina seemed to be the luckiest person in this duel, and having come from the curse of the bogies out of sheer will alone was impressive. Even if she does go down this duel, she would have that to be proud of alone. However, the Fumos had her squinting hard to see her opponent. She would have no idea if the Hufflepuff was in the same spot as last time, but she had to try as she cast her own Flipendo across the piste. It, however, would not strike true. Logan took advantage of the fog to change her position in time for the spell to sail harmlessly into the background.

Aurelia would seem to be moved to inaction. Whether the nimble Gryffindor had decided to try and brace for an impact or simply became distracted by the smoke, it was anyone’s guess. However, Fumos would begin to fade, and the stage could be seen again, showing all the combatants that all of them remained the same as they had when they saw each other.

Logan's spell had missed and she was not surprised about it one bit. She was the one that caused the fog and now she was paying for it. Maybe if she had actually cast a useful spell other than blocking the view of everyone she would have been able to hit Regina properly instead of sending the spell somewhere completely different. The only good thing she got from the fog was being able to avoid the spell the younger Gryffindor sent at her.

There was a whooshing sound near Regina's ear that signified a spell had missed her by a hair's breadth. There was a small part of her was glad the older Hufflepuff's Smokescreen Spell was working against her now, but the reality of Regina and Aurelia having both of their accuracy severely affected was not enough to make the ravenette rejoice for long.

A loud 'Flipendo!' from Regina's lips was followed with a frustrated snarl that twisted her beautiful features when there was - as expected - no sound of impact through the dense fog. She would have also been equally furious that her teammate had failed to cast a spell, if she'd been able to actually see in the Fumos. They were all truly playing on disadvantaged grounds now.
