HEY YALL! So, the last several days were a bit hectic with The Scream, so I have several things to ask/bring up today. But I want to start off with welcoming our new members who have received IC jobs for The Scream!

Lizzy, our Gryffindor taking the Co-Owner position of Goosebumps Club, is also a Mystery Writer for the Scream. Now remember, The Scream positions are secret IC, so if you bother asking any of the Mystery Writers, they'll just deny it.
Ari, our Ravenclaw taking The Scream Graphic position, as well as the third and final Mystery Writer for The Scream.
Bailey Glade, our Ravenclaw, is also the final The Scream Graphic designer!
-- There's also me, the owner and Mystery Writer for The Scream but this isn't about me.

The Second Thing is, and this is about The Scream. What pages do you want to see added? What pages do you want to see removed. What we have thus far (as of this announcement) is:

Number three on the list, there are three more people that still need a Slip, and I have given the others their Slips. I'm working on getting yall that need the slip, a slip. I have it marked who has it and who doesn't.

Number four. Okay, so, while the Discord Server is still being developed as of this moment, you can still ask me for the link to the server in owls.

Number five. Please remember to follow all Discord rules if yer on discord, PLUS Hio rules IC and OOC onsite. This one should be simple.

Number six. Theatre Club and Goosebumps Club have a audition thread up, and it's open auditions meaning everyone can join! Here is the link! [x]

Hey y'all! So, a few things today.

First things first, we have gained several members in the last few days! Let's welcome Vienna Goodwin, @Kim Sato and @Mei Hagikura! Welcome to our club, where we sought to read, talk, and perhaps even reenact Goosebumps!

Second, Kim Sato is our fourth, and FINAL, Mystery Writer. I know I probably said there were three, but we needed an additional especially with everything happening this month. It proved to be a bit overwhelming working with only two others (in writing).

Third, I think you might actually enjoy May's edition of The Scream, due to the great work that Ari Gwild, Kim Sato, Bailey Glade, and Lizzy Solace had put in!

I know I just sent out the last announcement, but since I make two sickles a day and have four people (Not including myself) as part of Goosebumps Club's moderation team (ONLY this club, not the site)... I will be paying each Moderator 5 sickles a month, for their work on The Scream, and for making sure rules are being followed, because we want to remain a good and safe place for people to talk.

Sorry if that was a little long, but I felt I should announce this, so the Club knows of it, and I'm not trying to be unfair, I'm trying to reward people.

Oh yeah! Everyone in the club also has a Slip! So come check out the IC Goosebumps Club thread in the Room of Requirements!

A short notice! If someone wants to see a rumor IC they need to IC write it or tell one of the MW for it to perhaps be put into the article. Let's all work together to bring about the best Scream we can do for this upcoming month! If you have any questions, feel free to ask one of us IC or through discord!

I had a thought too.

Perhaps the month of May we can do a short mention of Juniper Kelly's departure. Something like... "In other news, Juniper Kelly, a beloved Ravenclaw chocoholic left Hogwarts for personal reasons. She will be missed by many." Kim will also write a few more sentences about her too if we include this into next month's edition.

Hey y'all! I'm back again with another announcement! Well, there is four parts of it. I have also worked out the math for next month's pay. So, if you're interested in getting paid, this announcement might suit you! All of it has something to do with our Monthly Newsletter (an IC newsletter)

Let's start off with our first. The Scream comes out on May 1st this year, but something we talked about yesterday (by we, I mean the Mystery Authors and the Graphic Designers) all agreed that Newsletter Production would halt over the OOC summer, and this includes IC the day we get out of school, to the day we return to school. Mainly because some people will be at a camp for the summer, some will be busy doing other things outside of HiO. A small spoiler on the September issue of The Scream: There will be a Special Edition covering it. So, once May ends, the last edition of The Scream 2021-2022, will end. Thereby starting the 2022-2023 editions coming out once school reopens.

Now, number two. Birthdays. If your birthday isn't the month when the next edition comes out but you know someone whose birthday is that month (imagine for example, June Newsletter and no june birthdays in the club). Feel free to make an IC recommendation. I will have a thread in the Owlery set up for it so you can make your suggestion by owl.

Three, we have a new addition. Now, remember when I mentioned that we added Rumors? Well, in encouragement for more gossip (IC ONLY, no metagaming), send a IC owl to me in the owlery, thread will be set up to keep the IC The Scream authors identities secret. OOC I'll pay one sickle for each gossip you have on anyone. Now, The Scream will modify it so it fits the theme, so it might not be exactly how you put it when you sent it to The Scream. There is 14 slots available for it.

Four, Questions and Answers (Q&A) in The Scream will pay one sickle OOC, but still, I will set a thread in the owlery where you can send it to The Scream writing team. It's only one sickle per question. And there is a slot of 12.

I hope this motivated you to participate some more in the club, because once I year up to Third Year, I will make five sickles a day and the money for each of these previously mentioned will go up. Including those on The Scream moderation team. (Goosebumps Club only)

If you aren't a part of Goosebumps Club, and are reading this, feel free to participate, but you'd have to get your hands on a copy of the newsletter as it's only available to those in the club. Perhaps one of the club members shared the newsletter with you and you are somewhat interested.

Hey! As I said a few minutes ago (or in the previous announcement (8)), I was making the thread. Well, instead of having multiple threads to write for... it's all in one.

I have only four limitations to this.

1. Don't Godmod, get permission if you're saying someone else's name
2. This is IC, so write IC (since it's also in the owlery, the WC minimum is 50 words)
3. Don't attempt to hurt Billy
4. Write down the date you are IC sending it (this is starting May of 2022, and this room is closed off during the summer when students are in Hogwarts, so consider the dates you are IC writing them and sending it.

If there is anything else, I will let you know. But please make sure you don't try to hurt Billy, and pay attention to the IC date.

The second thing is, I won't be able to ping you all the time, so I suggest clicking the heart of this thread so you could be notified of everything happening here.

This announcement will be a lot shorter than the past ones, but I just wanted to pop in and inform everyone in the club about this. I will be replacing Lizzy Solace in her roles as Co-Owner, the second Scream Mystery Author, and moderator of the club!

Heyyy y'all... soo... we wanted to make sure our roster was clear of inactive people and of deactivated people. If you don't want to take part in the club (if yer an outsider wanting to join, join through the application thing), please owl me and Sienna Lenoir.

Thank you, and I'll try to keep you updated as to what the Goosebumps Mods say, so yall aren't in the dark.

Also, we will check twice a month to see if anyone has posted in the two weeks twice a month. If inactive twice, I'll take you off the roster but not off the club. I'll of course shoot an owl with information when this situation arises.
