Yes! I'm finally feeling better, for now at least. Now my body has other problems going on. The awesomeness of getting old and having your body break down mentally and physically... such a combination...
HAH. They obviously don't have it and never did any research on it if they don't think it's a real thing. It's literally listed by doctors as being a real thing, and they even prescribe medication strictly for that condition. That person doesn't know what they are talking about...Juniper Kelly wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 18:31Someone in my class was talking about how ADHD isn't a real thing and I was just sitting there like >:(

this is a rant about my damned brain.
i was at clinic today and my supervisor nurse told me to try practising monitoring dog/cats heartrate. there was a meow that took a little longer to wake from sedation and on a puppy. for anyone who doesn't know, the average cat heartrate sedated is 120 and can go to 195 per minute. my brain is just not that capable of counting 2.5-3/sec. so you'd need to count the heartrate for 10sec and multiply by 6 or 15sec and multiply by 4 so it adds to a min.
the thing is, my brain could not get the hang of it even with like half an hour. like hell, i struggled to breathe because my brain was more focused on counting - which couldn't even do that right - than on actually breathing. it couldn't damn count the basic numbers either, i dont know why. like 11, 14, 15... 18... 17... 20... no that's not it... why tf are you doing this brain? and i'd have to start again which it does the same thing and jumbles numbers. it was so frustrating. and then my anxiety decided to get a little triggered by listening to the rapid baddums of heartbeats + not really breathing. which was then i decided to take a break and try again in a few hours. my brain was super fatigued, which happens when trying to sustain concentration. i hate, hate my brain. pdsugbwoagag
