Louca was a bit taken aback by the cold tone and words that was thrown at him as he swam alongside the boat. His eyes lost some of the typical warmth that inhabited them, and he took a moment to best prep a defense. Not a defense in the normal sense of the word but instead a deflection or something else that turn the situation around. After all, he grew up learning the game, it shouldn’t be that hard.

”I wasn’t intending to make fun of others at all. It was simply a question to break the ice. I guess I should have asked if you were okay first. That would have made more sense." Louca went on to add, " I’m sure it was an accident but I wouldn’t know for sure as I wasn’t driving. I’m sure whoever it was is getting a warning or something similar. I’m sure a bunch of soaked and grumpy students doesn’t make for the best impression.” Grinning but realizing what he said could have been taken wrong, which he had occasionally previously used intentionally but this time it was fully unintentional so he rushed to fix his mistake. Louca stopped paddling for a moment, his legs kicking to keep him floating. ”Not that I’m saying you’re grumpy at all. You have the right to be mad, as you said, you didn’t choose to get dunked.”

Louca took a breath, hoping that his words would sooth some of the anger. ”True, I chose to take a swim but I don’t think they’d be awful enough to make the students who did not choose it to be soaked the entire time we’re doing whatever is going on.”
By this time they had gotten to the shore, the girl took off. Making note of where she went, Louca shook himself out a bit, finding some nearby people and joining the conversation. He’d make sure to go find the girl again shortly, determined to make sure she harbored no ill feelings. He didn’t know why it was important, but he was determined to have a civil conversation with her. His charm hadn’t failed him yet.

Laughing at something he heard from the other students, he was surprised when he was forced around. Stumbling slightly, he regained his balance, and again his eyes cooled at the accusation. He wasn’t sure what language the girl spoke or what she said, but he was sure it wasn’t complimentary. He was tired of being accused of finding soaking people funny. Just because he laughed near the situation didn’t mean he was laughing at them. He also was not responsible for whatever had caused it to happen. ”That wasn’t it at all. I was simply laughing because I was having fun taking a swim, and I was getting teased for voluntarily going in.”

Grayson wasn't supposed to go to Hogwarts. He found it stupid. Why did they have to meet other schools? Couldn't everybody just stay in their own lanes? He wasn't the biggest fan of socialization either, and the 'Flower Ball' or whatever it was called seemed to be booming with it. Plus Scotland was cold. And wet. And overall just sad.

But something intrigued the young boy. Perhaps it was the Scottish highlands, or just the chance to see Hogwarts. Or perhaps, he really did want to socialize, no matter how bad he was at it. Whatever it was, it was enough to prompt Grayson to come. But the journey brought him close to regretting it. Stuck in a train and later a boat for what felt like a day, to say finally arriving was a relief was a serious understatement. For how advanced the wizard if world was, could they not use planes or something easier than a seasickness-inflicting boat?

Shaky from the ride, and the loud, obnoxious fireworks (seriously, whose idea was that?), Grayson climbed into the boat, preparing for a lot of rowing. As he looked out onto the lake, he spotted a few capsized boats. They were wearing red uniforms, a few wearing thick furred coats. Definitely from somewhere cold. But, not Hogwarts. The students of the Scottish school would already be waiting at the other side of the lake. Durmstrang? Was that what they were called? Sounded about right. It appeared the strong waves of the Ilvermorny ship had capsized a few of the boats.

Grayson squinted. God, they looked pissed. He snorted as he tried to hold back his laughter. Sure, it was a bit mean. Perhaps he wouldn't be laughing if he was soaking wet in the water. But he wasn't. He was safe, and warm, in his boat. So it was funny.

He arrived at the shore, a bit damp himself. Again, Scotland. Cold and rainy. Despite this, he wasn't in that bad of a mood. The capsized Durmstrang boats had given him quite a laugh. "Had a nice swim?" He asked teasingly to a few of the Durmstrang students.

Feel free to say you were one of the students he was teasing. Also, Gray's a bit mean. Sorry about that, I promise I'm not. ;)

Milosh had arrived with the rest of the Durmstrang group but everyone began to mingle and he just felt uncomfortable, standing still for a moment trying not to get shoved around. Once there was some sort of space he made his way to a still empty boat, sighing in relief. He'd take a seat and then feel more pairs of feet and robes shuffle in. Matching names to faces wasn't his thing but he did know they were Durmstrang students and he knew Charles from something they did in the Summer the previous year.. or perhaps it was a winter game.. He'd shake his curls out of his gaze, zoning out once again until the voice belonging to Charles was aimed at his direction.

"I don't know about fun, but I'll be around to watch this event go down in flames." He answer him and offered the boy a cheeky grin. Charles kept chattering on the boat and Milo just watched as the castle got closer. Soon he'd be able to see Kath again, how he missed her.. Charles then asked the entire boat if they'd be joining. To be honest, he hadn't thought about it. One way or another there would be a lot of participants, he didn't think he'd get picked but then again, what if he did? "Dunno, we'll see when we get there. It's a surprise for you and me." The boy merely shrugged before returning the question to him. "What about you are you going--"

His sentence would get cut off as the boat rocked, dumping half of the contents, being that the contents were people, overboard. His head got submerged under water before he swam up quickly, gasping for air, water stuck in his throat as he coughed. "Krysinyye ublyudki!" (1) The boy rasped out, glaring daggers at someone or anyone who had tipped their boat. Dragging himself back aboard, without turning the boat over again was a struggle with him now being heavier from the water and at a lower disadvantage. Finally making it up he'd hear Charles' words enter his ears. So it was Ilvermorny students. He'd stand up and shake his now dark blonde, soaked curls out of his gaze which blazed with anger. "Eti proklyatyye sobaki.."(2) Milo muttered just loud enough for his boat mates to hear. He would take a place on one side of Charles as he gathered more people, fueled with rage. Oh it was on, whether it was accidental or not, Durmstrang was going to have the last laugh and Ilvermorny was going to pay.

While some of her schoolmates seemed to think the competition had already begun and jostled to be the first wave off the stately deck of the Crusader, Simza Aksamit preferred an unhurried, orderly disembarkment which had everything to do with her current level of impatience for faffery after three hours at sea, and only a little to do with the slightly green tinge touching her pale cheeks. Her questionable sea legs needed only hold out a little longer before she was hauling her trunk off the deck into an unoccupied rowboat. The copper-haired girl had never been so grateful for an unsettled stomach, however, as she was to suddenly find herself with an unimpeded front-row view of the absolute indignity visited upon her hastier schoolmates by the Ilvermorny contingent's ostentatious arrival at Hogwarts.

Simza was glued to the bench of her rowboat, dangling preciously high over the choppy waves buffeting the side of the ship, her mouth agape in silent protest at the sight of so many red-and-black uniformed figures bobbing and thrashing in the dark water. The sheer audacity and insult of the Americans' antics only kept her immobile for another heartbeat, however, before she shook her head to clear the last bits of shock and move into action. Glancing back at the queue of students still on deck, milling about in disbelief at what had happened, Simza made a decision that might land her in trouble later, but made all the sense in the world at the moment - she began working the rope to lower the boat she was in down to the lake without waiting for any other passengers and as soon as she felt the boat lurch into the water, freed the rigging and picked up a steady rowing pace towards the capsized rowboats and adrift Durmstrangs. She meant to collect as many of her waterlogged fellows as the rowboat would allow.

For such a delicate-looking girl, Simza made surprisingly good time across the distance - she was easy to underestimate, but years of merciless ballet training, and now quidditch training, had given her physical fortitude to match her headstrong pursuit of accomplishment.

"Over here!" Simza called out, cupping a hand to her mouth to catch the attention of several adrift students when she got near enough, pulling in the oars and drifting closer as to not risk hitting anyone in the water.

Ahead, between her boat and the shore, a decent number of students who had chosen to swim the remaining distance had begun sloshing up onto dry land. The water carried frantic voices and angry comments alike out to Simza and she dearly hoped the Ilvermorny students had enough sense not to go bragging about the incident because, as disciplined as Durmstrang's alum were, this was a grave insult to the Northern school and tempers would undoubtedly be short. Unfortunately, the chances of restraint from the Americans, she reckoned, were slim to none.

And this was only day one, Simza thought with a grimace as she reached out to offer a hand to a waterlogged figure treading water.

ARTEMIS LADRIAN
──────────────────────────────────── DURMSTRANG ──────────
──
Artemis had never liked being on boats, would never like being on boats, and didn't currently like being on boats. And judging by the way she was gripping the balustrade, her entire face taken on a green hue and fingers turning white from the effort of holding herself relatively still, this fact wasn't exactly unknown to her fellow compatriots. Her teeth were clamped closed, keeping at bay the insults which were building up at the back of her throat, along with another unsavory thing. Despite having not gotten anywhere near the water, the girl was drenched in sweat.

"Something probably is" Artemis growled, pressing the back of her hand against her lips. The boat gave another lurch, making the blood drain from the girl's already pale skin. Charles was a good distraction, but she didn't fancy talking anytime soon. Or ever again.

She dragged herself in the tiny boat Charles had prepared more than walked over, the usual grace she had in the air nowhere to be found. The girl may have been like a sparrow in the wind, but when she was stuck to a moving piece of wood, travelling across a lake full of sea monsters, she was a lot less brave.

Artemis slipped into Charles' boat, broom in one hand and backpack thrown over one shoulder. She hadn't bothered with a trunk, knowing full well everything she needed fit in the old, beatup bag she'd been lugging around for the past seven years of her life. "I hate this stupid school, I hate this boat, I hate this tournamen-"

The boat gave away from under her, sending the girl tumbling in the icy waters beneath.

The great lake was dark, water freezing. It didn't take long for the cold to seep into Artemis' bones, through the clothes and skin, settling deep beneath her ribcage. It took even shorter still for the last remains of daylight to vanish underneath the murky waves.

She sunk like a stone.

Broom still in hand, bag dragging her down like an anchor, far away from the surface of the lake. Something caressed her ankle. It might have been algae, or a fish, or something else entirely. It didn’t matter.

A scream left her. Ragged and raw and full of terror as the murky gray light slowly vanished, and she sunk lower and lower. And along with the scream, whatever precious few breaths of air the girl still had left.

Her lungs were burning, demanding air, squeezing shut with every passing second.

She knew she shouldn’t have breathed in. Knew it was a mistake, knew she’d come to regret it. But it was instinct more than anything. The animal part of her that wanted to live, that didn’t understand water couldn’t replace oxygen. So she gasped for air, gasped for breath, gasped for life. And was met with cold, dead terror instead.

The bag. The bag. The bag, the bag, the bag, the bag. The bag. Have to get rid. Of the bag.

She grasped at something, anything, as if she could hold on to the water and stop her descent. But her hands were met with only more of the thing that was killing her, straps of her bag cutting into her skin, pulling her down. Further. And further. She sank until she forgot which way was up, and her eyes had glazed over, and there was only dark left to greet her. She sunk until her vision had gone dark.

Something brushed against her side. Artemis screamed, the last few bubbles of air leaving her and floating towards the surface as she lurched away. Seaweed was wrapping against her arms, her legs, her torso. Slowly but surely entangling the girl in a living trap.

At the end of the day, she wouldn’t remember how she’d gotten out. Perhaps it was endless flailing or moving about, jerking of limbs and pure animalistic terror that got her out. But she did remember the bag slipping of her shoulders. She remembered kicking up to the surface, where she could see her broom floating just above her head. And she remembered how her lungs were burning when she made it up, grasping onto the broom like a life raft and promptly going back under. "UP" she half screamed half coughed.

Never. Never in her life had she been as grateful or as happy when the broom obeyed, floating up above the lake with her in tow, grasping weakly at the handle. She looked like a soaked rat, trying to clamber back on the edge of a sink, trembling from every joint available as she threw a leg over the broom and hugged it for dear life.

Her bag was somewhere at the bottom of the lake. But she was alive.

She was alive.

Artemis coughed out, her body lurching as at least half the Great Lake came out her lungs. Far down below her, the grounds had become nothing but a black and gray blur filled with terror. Her boat mates had long since recovered. She could see them kicking for dear life, water dripping down their hair and belongings floating about in the water.

And Charles? Well he was contorting with the enemy. Artemis braced as another fit of coughing got ahold of her, gliding down smoothly.

She usually hated the ground. Hated stepping on it, hated being forced to walk upon it to get from place to place. Now, there was nothing but relief that filled her when she stepped down from the broom.

The girl was a mess. Water dripping from the clothes and eyeliner smudged down her cheeks, hair plastered to her forehead and neck. It had come loose out of its man bun and was sticking uncomfortably to the back of her shirt. "I’m going to kill them", she hissed in Charles’ direction, wringing the water out of her hair. "I’m going to find them and set them on fire. Every last one of them.".

Her eyes landed on Charles’ friend, a rabid glint in her eye. "Including your pretty girlfriend here" The next moment, she had her wand against the girl’s throat.

I’m sure a bunch of soaked and grumpy students doesn’t make for the best impression.
Of all the things the boy had said, you had only heard this one sentence. He dared. He really dared. Not all students at Durmstrang are grumpy. Some are, of course, but at Ilvermorny there are bound to be some grumpy students. The boy had corrected your shocked and angry face, saying that you Durmstrang students had a right to be cranky. He then went on, but you only remembered this sentence. What a stereotype!
You looked around, your hand still clutching the boy's shoulder. You saw Artemis and some other students and decided to go to them. With a deft hand you grabbed the Ilvermorny boy's hand and put it behind his back. He was now with his back to you, in a position that should have slightly pulled his arm. You stood on tiptoe to whisper in his ear:
For next time, not all Durmstrang students are grumpy. But they do get cranky when people play unfunny jokes, like dropping them in the water, even if it's raining.
You pushed him forward and turned to look at Artemis. You were completely bored if he had fallen. Or if you had hurt him. Now you walked briskly over to your friend who was getting out of the water. You knew she was seasick.
When you reached the level of the small group, your smile disappeared. Artemis had his wand pressed against the neck of a Beauxbatons student. You didn't need anyone to explain it to you, you only needed to see your friend to understand. She wanted revenge because she was seasick and on top of that, she had fallen overboard because of the Ilvermorny students. Artemis had the wrong person.
Erm... Artemis? It was the Ilvermorny who made us fell in the lake. Not the Beauxbatons!
When you saw Artemis' face, with make-up running down her cheeks, you wondered what you were looking at. You only had a line of pencil under your eye, but the pencil was running a lot. And your hair must have been stuck to your face. With a sigh of exasperation, you tucked your hair behind your ears and so much for the pencil. What was important at the moment was to calm Artemis down.

Charles was sopping wet. He looked like he'd taken a swim in Hogwarts' Great Lake - and maybe he had. Cassie had seen a few boats capsise in the wave which Ilvermorny's arrival had created, whether intentionally or not, but hadn't realised that her friend was one of the unlucky. "No way I'm taking my broom out in this weather," Cassie told him after his suggestion. "Maybe the shock of falling in has made you delirious. Are you okay?"

Switching to another language (Cassie was fairly sure it was Russian but wouldn't have bet chocolate frog cards on it), Charles shouted towards a girl in another boat, addressing her as Farin and including the word Ilvermorny. "I hope you're not gonna-" Cassie started, ready to explain to Charles that the wave surely wasn't purposeful, but Farin hurried over to them, speaking in English, thank goodness. She made it clear that revenge was on her mind, causing Cassie to open her mouth again, but another of Charles' Durmstrang friends, a blonde boy who looked a little older than the rest of them, turned up, muttering something Cassie couldn't catch, but she was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to understand it even if she could hear him. The stances of the three Durmstrangs - shoulders back, as though they were a part of a battle line, made Cassie worried that they'd do something stupid. "Charlie, you gotta-"

But the Beauxbatons girl was interrupted yet again. A kid with pretty cool split dyed hair quite literally descended from the sky to cause trouble. Almost as soon as her feet had touched the ground, leaving the broom which she'd been riding floating beside her, she stalked towards Cassie, eyes glinting like a predator. Her words weren't in English, but Cassie didn't need to know the exact vocabulary in order to get the gist, because her actions spoke far louder than words. The two girls' gazes locked, and, taking Cassie almost completely by suprise, the Durmstrang student pressed her wand against her new rival's throat. "What the HECK are you DOING?!" Cassie's first instinct was to step back, to get as far away from Little Miss Murder as she could, but instead, she squared her shoulders and stood her ground. This girl may be a predator, but Cassie Heather McGregor-Martin was not in the mood to be her prey, and she would not run.

Another card entered what had rapidly escalated into a game of chicken. The energy between Cassie and Artemis, as New Girl had named her (assuming she wasn't talking about someone else) practically crackled, and Cassie had to admire New Girl's nerve for walking into it. Cassie had no idea whether New Girl had been disencouraging Little Miss Murder or urging her on, but that didn't matter. Artemis had threatened Cassie with a wand to the throat, and she had to learn that you don't mess with Beauxbatons. Because that was surely what this was: Durmstrang attempting to assert its dominance. She'd only just stepped onto the shore, but Artemis was already stirring up rivalries, and Cassie was most certainly going to take it personally. "You get one chance to step back before I step forwards."

If Artemis withdrew, Cassie would give her a smouldering look. "Charles, I have to talk to you about picking better friends." Then she'd turn to Artemis. "You stay away from me."

But, if Artemis kept her wand where it was, she had something coming. Cassie may not have her own wand, but she didn't need a wand. She could cause a whole lot of trouble without an easily-snappable stick of wood in her hand - in fact, probably more. "Alright then." Cassie would tilt her head to one side, looking the other girl over. They were maybe the same height, and Cassie had the advantage of not having to protect a wand from being smashed to pieces. But it would be an almost fair fight, unless Farin, Blondie, or New Girl decided to get involved. (Cassie was confident that Charles would either side with her, or not pick a side at all.) And a fight it would, apparently, be. "Charles, I have to talk to you about picking better friends." And she'd punch Little Miss Murder in the face.

Charles might refuse to aidmit the following out loud but he was glad that he choose the same side as Miolish. The lad is older and more experienced in multiple aspects or sports, the perfect alliance to have in search of revenge at least in thw blonde's opinion.

The blonde offered a short nod toward Hailey, glad that she looked for revenge to. The blonde was shivering, dripping wet standing on the shoreline and only looked to seek revenge for whoever caused it. Eyes flickering across faces, picking up three Ilvermorny students close by. The blonde removed his arm from Cassie's head and started to crack his knuckles as he spoke"I'm going to return their little greeting," a swift nod toward the Ilvermorny students as he slipped his wand into a pocket of his uniform preferring fists over spells, "bastards! The lot of them!" The blonde cracked his neck as he looked over towsrd Miolish, nor admitting oit loud but within admiring the boy as he spoke"Where shall we begin, Milo?" The blonde haven't paid much attention to Cassie since he thought that he'll habe days with her, the first day can be enacting pay back...

"Is he Ilvermorny?"

Charles asked about the lad who Hailey was conversing with moments go, noting his small size and frame. It wouldn't be a challenge to shove him into the water or another act of violence, the blonde would seek to find the lad's eyes. Staring him down. Standing perfectly still as he imagined what he would do to him when two others caught his gaze, one's voice only angered the blonde more. Burned at his insides. While the other, silent it seemed but older. The question is who will Charles apporched first looking to return their water greeting.

"We're only going to return their-" Charles found himseof cut from his words to Cassie by Artemis who looked alive. Haven't seen her since the boat capsized, Charles noted her dripping appearance and sudden rage. The blonde had to aidmit that he enjoyed this part of them and seeing their broom reminded him of his own. Eyes scanning the water, Charles promised himself to bother someone later for his broom's safe return.

No matter how much he enjoyed Artemis new sense of passion and fire, rhe blonde saw when it was time to step in. The shoit of another. Charles would pull Cassie behind himself, eyes on Artemis as he spoke"leave her, their beauxbaton and not Ilvermorny," a swfit flick of the wrist to few Ilvermorny students as he continued"they are Ilvermorny and in need of a proper greeting for what they did," Charles looked toward them, his chest burned aginest his skin as he pushed back his dripping hair.

"Still ready to burn them," Charles asked Artemis before looking at the other Durmstrang still debating who to go over to himself, "Standing around has reached its limits, I'm going to return the greeting," the blonde looked out. A small mischievous gint reached his eyes. Finally deciding on which Ilvermorny student to apporch first.

A thought occured to him before going over. Charles looked over at Cassie, a small smile emitted across his face as he leaned close to her and spoke"you can hit me in the head later for this but I can't do nothing," a nod. The smile disappeared as the blonde walked along the shoreline toward the first Ilvermorny student.

A young student. Unknowingly to the blonde his name being Grayson Ellis, not thay the blonde cared who this kid was. Only that he is a Ilvermorny student and one shouting about Durmstrang taking a involuntarily swim. Charles cracked his knuckles, standing at 5'10 or 177 cm which allowed him to tower over the younger lad as he spoke"enjoying the show?" The blonde's eyes flickering over toward the water where his bag and beloved broom floated, the thought of his broom snapping or damaging itself along the lake burned his mind. His eyes narrowed as he felr his gaze flicker back to the student.

"How about you take a swim to," Charles spoke as he took another defining steo closer to the young lad, breathed in once as he crackled his knuckles once more. The sound echoing loud enough for the young student to hear. Preferring fists over wands, Charles wiggled his fingers as he dropped his arms. Wondering exactly how this will turn out as he felt himself brinf his hands up and move to grab the lad's shirt and push him into the rippling current of the water's edge.

They also sent her a monthly allowance since Winnie's mother was a muggle and usually only had muggle cash at hand.

That eye contact made her blush nervously, she wasn't used to people gazing directly into her eyes for so long. "Flowers?" She blinked over at him, her mind snapping back to the conversation at hand. "Oh! Well, sometimes, usually all colours. I like to press them into books or make crowns, I bet you would look amazing with a flower crown." He mentioned something about selecting pink for Hogwarts, she wondered if he changed his hair colour often. It would be a shame to get rid of such a lovely shade. "I hope you keep the pink. It looks very nice on you. What other colours have you dyed your hair?"

The acceptance caused a small smile to form on her lips. She preferred using first names anyways, but everyone had a preference. Even in the United Kingdom, it was common for people to refer to others by their surnames. "Thank you, Hiro. Despite the circumstances, it is nice to meet you."

His thought process made sense, but Winnie was always the one to state the obvious. Despite being a Ravenclaw, she was not the brightest witch and often needed to state things out loud because if she were in her conversational partner's shoes, she would have gotten easily confused. It seemed like Hiro was a pretty smart guy, however. Erm, smarter than Winnie, that was."Good points. I was standing here to try and catch Mathias. He didn't even tell me what school he was attending, you know. He just sent a letter saying his family had switched him to another school. Can you believe it? I know I can be a lot at times but... We've been dating since June and... I just thought I deserved a bit better than that, you know?" Her smile faded as she spoke and she cast her eyes downwards, focusing on the leather bag he had tossed at her. She wasn't ignorant to the pain Matt must have been experiencing after losing his cousin, but his behaviour today just cemented Winnie's thoughts about him.

"... Puraido Mattaiasu? Is that what he goes by? His name is Mathias Pride so I guess it must be a translated version." Either way, he was still her Mattie. Or so she thought. Using the sleeve of her parka to wipe at her eyes she took in a breath. "Because he hasn't told me anything about what's been going on the past three months. We left for Christmas break and everything was fine. We were a great couple, always talking... Holding hands, walking each other to class. He was my everything. Then when I returned to school he was gone. I sent him letter after letter and he didn't reply until Valentine's Day, when he sent me a howler that kind of made it seem like he was breaking up with me. That was the only time I heard from him. I just want to know... Is he... He's dating someone else, isn't he? He found someone better a-and that's why... That's why he doesn't want anything to do with me... Right? C-Can you tell me if you know?" She knew she was rambling, but she couldn't stop herself, the words were spewing out of her, months of being left in the dark taking over. Her eyes welled with tears as she asked the boy who was practically a stranger to help her decipher the mess Matt had left in his wake.

Rosella was not a fan of the rain, never had been, as it always caused her to have to stay indoors to draw or paint rather than paint out in nature. Her wand was held loosely in her hand, her attention focused on keeping the umbrella charm from allowing the rain to get to her. She was waiting patiently for the last of the students to arrive from the other schools, interested in seeing her friends again.

The girl had not changed out of her previous outfit, instead opting to wear a thin coat to keep any splatters of rain from soaking into her outfit. Rosella looked around at all of the other students crowded around the great lake, knowing her friend Cassie should be there somewhere, but had not had a chance to look for her yet. Slowly, the sound of splashing caught the girl's attention as she noticed the Durmstrang ship make its way out of the Great Lake. It was an interesting sight for sure, much more grand than the arrival of the Koldovstoretz students. It did not surprise her that they had to row themselves to shore.

What did surprise the girl is the arrival of the Ilvermorny ship to appear only a little after Durmstrang and for many of the Durmstrang students to be thrown into the lake. Rosella had managed to focus on the other students enough to see her friend Charles be one of the many to end up in the lake. A laugh escaped the girl at the demise of her friend.

The Russian girl decided to wait until most of the students had made their way to the shore before making her way down to the group, noticing Cassie and other unknown students. One of which was holding their wand to Cassie's throat.

"Did you enjoy your swim Charles? It looked like you did." the girl spoke with a laugh and a smirk on her face as she continued to attempt and hold the Umbrella charm steady as to not get completely soaked from the rain. She then glanced over at the student holding their wand to Cassie's throat and chose to stay out of it, not wanting in trouble just yet that would be later most likely.
