@ Samantha Salwis @Aldor Humbleglow
At first, the blonde ambled behind Samantha but seeing her friend walking fast, she loosened her hold on Aldor's hand, not wanting to haul him and hurried back after Samantha, assuming he was walking behind them both. something just inched her eyes and her fingers gently touched it to find out that her fake eyelashes came out of place. "Ah, Sam!" she stopped as she called out. Pointing at her lashes, she shrugged "I need to go to the washroom... so can you wait for me? or you can join too". This was pretty irritating to the girl. The blonde smiled at Samantha when she followed her. She could see that her friend didn't wear any makeup... or maybe, did she do any natural look makeup? Whatever. It was better to walk with her friend than walking alone.

The question confused her, narrowing her eyebrows her face flicked between the mirror and sam as she was correcting her eyes. Nodding with a smile "It's going really good" she assured her, she knows Samantha always cares for her, especially in this matter and Vivian really likes it but also hopes that her friend would soon understand that it doesn't feel so bad to be in a relationship. After she corrected her makeup, she left with her friend to the ball. The weather was bitter and roared angrily when the force of it hit against her and irritated her even more when her nicely set hair was blowing in the wind and looked messy. Suddenly her eyes widened and she realised that her hair condition was the least thing to worry about as the tent collapsed. The blonde froze for a few seconds until the brunette's voice distracted her, "I-I am but... " she attempted to grab hold of her friend's hand and rushed near the tent to help the people stuck over there.

He really thought Winnie was out of her mind getting nervous about a little bit of rain and wind, the distant rumble of thunder. Running off with her, leaving the pomp and circumstance of this ball, of socialization was preferable. The painful facade of a pathetic nerd was wearing on him, with the fake glasses and the side-swept hair. The garish suits that belonged in a dumpster rather than on his back, but he did it all for the sake of holding a girl's interest. How disgraceful truly. Yet the farce that was their relationship had become comfortable, a routine. Perhaps dressing like a garage sale clown was worthwhile.

The wind would rip the canvas tent down. The stakes would rip from the soft earth and the beams would bow, even break. He would see the world about to come crashing down and he would flee. He did not even notice to where he ran, instinct compelled his feet as he tried to sprint out from under the canvas tarp. He would look behind him, realizing only then that his hand was empty. "Winnie!" He would shout into the chaos, lingering perhaps too long as he rushed back towards her. He should have just ran, broke out from under the tent, there was nothing to gain sharing her fate.

The weight of the tent would crumble his form, he was able to avoid the broken beams and the shattered lights. Was Winnie so lucky? Why did he even care? He would rummage through his pockets, he had limited resources but he did have a small knife on his person. A knife intended for apples rather than canvas tents but it would have to make due. If he lingered someone would impulsively set the tent aflame.

He would attempt to plunge his knife into the canvas that weighed him down and try to cut himself free.

@Hui Ming

"Hi, Ming," was Della's opening line. It seemed like Ming was about to respond—at least Della hoped he was about to respond!—when suddenly the lights began to flicker, grabbing their attention. At first, Della thought it was part of the ball—a spooky lighting change. But the lights were swinging wildly. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the sight of a supporting pole careening out of place. It was getting to be a regular refrain in Della's mind, but was this how witches and wizards chose to have fun?

It seemed the entirety of the tent itself was trying to shake it on the dance floor, which was bad news for the inhabitants inside. As some structural pole and tent tarp started to fly toward them, Della instinctively dived out of the way—just a piece of light tarp lying on her head. She wasn't sure if Ming had been so lucky, or the state of any other students present in the tent. How many people had been in here? She couldn't recall because she was so distracted by the idea of having a ball date—which now seemed a bit trivial. She heard the sounds of talking and groaning nearby, and possibly some people casting Lumos.

Della called out, "Ming!" Hopefully he would hear. And hopefully, Ming was alright. She crawled toward the area she thought he had been and felt part of the tent structure—a pole seemed to be on top of something. She reached even further and felt a hand, "Ming?" She gave the hand a squeeze and started to lift the tent pole off the lump, hoping to free whoever the person was.

The transformation process was still new, and it was still a strange feeling to become small and furry so easily. Transfiguration was not news to him, he'd been a travelling nurse and seen a myriad of bizarre magical mishaps in his time, but being an animagus was different. It would be something he had to become accustomed to from now on, he was a weasel. An itty bitty adorable little weasel.

From his spot on the ground, the passageways between the ruffles of the canvas seemed almost large, so he easily began to pitter patter his way to the closest opening he could find. With how harsh the wind was blowing, it was not difficult to navigate to where the breeze was entering the stuffy collapsed tent nightmare. Though while the passages became easier to see, it would be impossible to notice all of the grander obstacles in the area. Feeling he was home free, he didn't expect yet another weight to be cast onto him, his body far more fragile yet flexible as he was. He would screech tiny little animal noises in pain, which roughly translated to 'auuughh oh my goooosh nooooooo' in weasel language.

He would not be wounded enough to pass out though, which afforded him enough time to free himself from his tent prison. The air felt nice, but he did not figure much would be accomplished with how tempestuous this storm was. If it was enough to knock down a massive magical tent, it would be enough to cause more problems too. Changing back into the grubby, aging human body he was used to, his wand would be drawn and pointed at the sky.

"Caelum Muto!"

It was a spell more often used to control a small area for a certain atmospheric effect, such as animal enclosures to maintain a desired living condition that matched their homeland. He figured it should suffice to create a more calm atmosphere for the immediate surroundings, not stopping the storm entirely, but enough that escaping wouldn't be such a turbulent endeavor.

Her tiny legs away from the chaos in the Samhain right into the Chaos of the Fall ball.
She glanced to look at the boy as he introduced him self mid run. "Okay, hi Ari" She said, not sure why they were doing this now. But hey, no complaints. It was nice to know his name so she didn't have to keep calling him 'cute boy', even if he was one. However, after he gave his name, he gave his technique. She looked at him as they headed to the tent. "wow." She said, breathless. "Here I was thinking I could just... nevermind. I wasn't even thinking." She got on her knees and ran her hand along the edge of the tarp, looking for a place to open it. "Guys who are in the tent ! Can you guys hear me? Is anyone hurt? Because there's a lot of dark and scary things happening in the Samhain festival... and... it's all escalating too fast. "

She raised a hand to her hair, her heart beating. One of her greatest fears was death, but not her own death. She glady die to save anyone, especially her friends. It was the death of anyone, anyone who once seemed lively. But what she feared most was blood. Blood on a limp body, soon to be gone forever. And what she saw at the Samhain festival... it will likely be in her mind forever. A strong gust of wind slapped rain into her face, bringing her out of her thoughts. "Well, I... Didn't come to warn you guys, even if you should be warned. I came to help." She looked at the giant floppy tarp. "I feel like this will just be a raging war between us and the tarp." She remarked, directing her speaking to Ari.

"But I want to try what you said, Ari. Try and lift some of the tarp, right? Why does that sound harder than it looks?" She shoved her hair behind her shoulders and smiled at Ari. "Let's get to work, then?" But first, Juni didn't know the situation. "Is there a professor with you guys? She asked worriedly. Then she remembered Mr. Brumby, the nurse and the conductor for the frog choir. She couldn't remember if he ever moved to the Samhain festival."Professor Brumby? Or Mr. Brumby? Are you in there? This is Juniper the girl who had pink hair and busted her nose... I'm also in the frog choir... But there's a lot of chaos in the Samhain festival... and someone had a knife and tried to hit someone, but someone else jumped in the way, but not quick enough so too people got hit with the knife and there's this... this... snail- no slug? I don't know- thingy- and-yeah. She frowned. "why can't anything be normal at this school?"

Loki is Henry Knight's cat, and I have been given permission to godmod him
Maximillien.

Ah, so that was his name. It suited him, actually. He looked like a Maximillien. But he commented that he would rather be called Maxi, so she smiled and said, "Well, it is wonderful to meet you, Maxi." She smiled.

As Lucia had approached, Rose had felt a sudden chill. Maybe a sleeveless dress hadn't been the best idea in fall weather. At least the last fall ball had been inside. Rose wrapped her arms around herself, trying to gather her body warmth. Rose got cold really really easily, and this wind and cold wasn't helping her at all. Merlin, she was getting cold...

Rose felt bad for Maxi and Lucia's companion as they were caught in the mess of Lucia's drama. Seriously, the girl could have just left them alone. It wasn't any of Rose's business. If she wanted to ask Henry something, ask it to Henry, not her. How was she supposed to know? All she knew was that she was watching Loki. She wanted to growl at Lucia to leave her alone, but she restrained herself. Even Loki left, bounding away.

The tent falling on their heads would have ripped a scream out of Rose, if she had been able to make noise. The sensation of the ceiling falling on top of her instilled a sudden sense of panic, overwhelming her senses and taking control of her. A few seconds of pure terror, and then the tent was on top of her.

Rose's breathing had stopped, and she was holding her breath, making her head spin. Rose forced herself to breathe, which seemed incredibly difficult. She had dropped down, low to the earth, with her hands over her head instinctively. She lifted her head, slowly, carefully. Other than the sense of numbness and adrenaline rushing through her veins, Rose didn't think she was hurt. She had, somehow, stepped into a pocket of safeness, away from falling things.

The trembling redhead's vision slowly cleared and she placed her knees down, carefully on the ground, along with her hands. She then gathered her skirt in one hand, inching forward to where she guessed Maxi was. He called out for her, and a relief came through her body. He was still here with her. She came forward a little more, placing a hand on his arm. The warmth of another human, with her. "I'm okay," she said quietly, sounding only a little shaken. "I- I didn't get hurt. Are you okay?" she asked, in return. Then she asked, "Lucia?" What did Maxi call the other boy? "Ye-Jun?"

So Maxi wasn't okay? Rose slipped her wand out, and pointed it in Maxi's direction. He tried to cast diffindo at the ceiling. "Good idea," she commented. The spell worked, but he seemed to get more hurt in the process. She whispered, "Reparifors," attempting to cast the spell on him.

The shounds of pain and chaos surrounding them ought to have been disturbing, yet instead they had become familiar. In the grand scheme of horrible things happening at balls, a storm and a tent falling seemed one of the least likely to cause mass casualties. That was how ne needed to see it, compartmentalize the danger, remove himself from the scene and observe it logically. He was wide awake now, almost back to normal. It would be sad, if he had time to realize the implicaions of what his mind was doing for him.

He didn't have time though, as he and Opeila navigated out without delay nor hitch. It was seconds to sopping in the downpour, the warm cardigan everyone was so keen on becoming dead weight. Through the heavy rain, it was still easy to make out Eun-ji's bright white dress, like a beacon in the darkness. "We didn't get hurt. It's good to see you two made it out in one piece." Flash would walk over as he yell-answered, his arm trying to shield his eyes from the worst of the storm as she explained what she intended to do to help. Flash would nod, if it was even perceptable, knowing it was likely the best the lot of them could do. The more exits, the less chances people would have to get caught and hurt.

Normally, Flash would leap into action without a second thought. Casting magic, however, had not been an easy thing for him lately. The creature in the dungeons, the fight he had with Dmitri, not to mention the encounter with Marion and Hess. He did not blame his wand, but instead his own incompetence. When calm, casting was easy. Looking at Eun-ji, he remembered how certain he was that his healing would be perfect. In chaos, however, it almost never worked when he needed it. His confidence depended on his composure.

Nowing that, he tried to remember the stakes of the situation. He was safe, Opeila and Eun-ji were safe, and there were others who would be helping as well. With other people, he would be fine. "Alright. We'll try to lift up as much as possible."

Pulling the wand from the spot it always stayed, right by his side, he joined Eun-ji's side as though this rescue attempt had been planned. "Wingardium Leviosa."

Instantly it had become harder to focus, it was the worry, among the guilty feeling that fogged his mind, then he was angry and upset. He still was going over how this could have been prevented, a storm, maybe harsh winds, it's not the sort of thing your going to predict. But it only made sense to make something like this weather proof. If not the actual weather then otherwise children who could've bumped the poles really hard somehow and done the same thing. It was confusing, especially to try to think through and speak when his mind was just as cluttered as everything else around him.

Too add to the list of issues, it had been incredibly hard to get a proper read on Hana before Alec decided to do anything. Hana sat up, seemingly fine, casting lumos even. Alec could almost be relieved, and then he saw Hana's face, the hand to his head. He looked pained. Alec didn't want to touch him because even though the pole had clearly hit Hana's head, Alec didn't know the extent of what that meant. Alec was worried he'd hurt him more. Alec's hand fell, messing with the pins on his messenger bag.

It would be another one added to the list of the many times people had gotten hurt, and it was Alec's fault. . . There had been so many. Alec couldn't help but scowl at that, then grimacing as he looked over at Hana. Alec was unable to find anyway to reduce the amount of anxiety he was feeling in that moment. He was trying to get himself to move, to not freeze up more. That was how Hana had ended up this way in the first place. If he couldn't be smart, or think or- yeah, Alec didn't have anymore. But if he couldn't do those things, he could still act, do something.

When Alec didn't hear the answers he wanted from Hana, it was an area to draw concern. Hanako didn't think he was bleeding, and Alec thought he would have noticed if Hana was. That had been okay. Then Hana said he was alright, peachy, he just needed a minute. Peachy? Alec would have laughed if this wasn't as serious. Alec's eyebrows furrowed, he would ignore answering the question about himself, more focused on the other. Besides Alec wasn't the one who looked like they'd been hit by a pole.

“Mhm... I believe you.” Alec whispered, and with the way he was carrying himself, it almost sounded genuine. Alec knelt down avoiding areas of the grass that may have had shattered glass or anything else. Alec tried to steady himself, Hana wasn't screaming out in pain therefore it couldn't have been that bad. Alec's hand began to reach, out of instinct, wanting to move Hana's hand away, catching himself quickly he paused. Right your not supposed to be touching people, even if their injured, without their permission. Alec inwardly groaned. Bloody social etiquette, healers got to ignore that... He tried not to frown as much he'd been, more calm less frantic, that was how you properly dealt with these sorts of situations, right? “Can I see?” Alec tried to make his voice as gentle as possible, less rushed, that had worked with Jackie whenever she tripped and fell. He wasn't sure of his concern or anxiousness in the situation was enough to reflect on others, or be unnoticeable at all.

When more reluctance was shown, Alec backed up and stood, giving Hana some space and room to breathe. “Alright,” He nodded. That was when he noticed figures of people outside the tent, Alec blinked, stumbling back for a quick second. Right nothing weird, just people who've left? Taking a minute he looked around. He was trying to see if anybody else had gotten hurt, he didn't want to just leave a hurt person around. Luckily, almost every single person that seemed to be injured had someone with them. Stronger in numbers, they'd be fine. “Just... Promise you'll ice it after.” Alec spoke only loud enough for Hana to hear, even though his eyes weren't on the other. He was silent for a moment after, taking in everything around him. Noting people were trying to get out and for the most part, being successful. Alec wasn't going to stay any longer in a tent that had fallen in either.

The Gryffindor was questioning if by this point Katherine even cared. The whole tent fell down, Alec could have been hit on the head, and he, unlike Hana, would have preferred to leave. Getting a certain grade didn't matter. Besides, Alec was still stuck up on what a "C" meant, was that a bad thing? A good thing? He didn't know! Nobody was going to tell him either, and he wasn't going to ask. Why did everything have to be 1000x harder? He was supposed to be pranking people, accidentally ruining someones night, not this.

Alec shifted, standing in place was a lot to ask of a person. He looked back over at Hana, folding his arms across his chest, and eventually and smile began to play on his lips. “Have you ever heard the joke about the peach?” Alec asked, he waited another second or so, “No? I'm glad, its... pit-iful.” Alec tried to suppress the even bigger smile, trying to peak from his lips. Now wasn't the place or time. “You ready to get up? Some others have already found their way out, it shouldn't be hard to follow” He said, his eyes would wander away from his fake date to look around, getting a better view of his surroundings once more.

Being close to Mathias offered Winnie some form of comfort, considering she did not directly take cover beneath the various tables that had been set up. Perhaps it would have been a proactive choice, considering the series of events that happened next. One moment she was pressed closely to Mathias, and then it seemed like the world around them started to tilt. The tent's structure seemed to groan against the unyielding strength of the wind, and suddenly the lights above flickered as the tent started to cave in. The Ravenclaw fell into a daze, clinging onto Matt's hand and allowing him to guide her as her once unrealistic fears burst through the barrier of reality and battled against it until it did its bidding.

Winifred's heels would be her undoing. As they slapped against the dance floor, she lost her footing as soon as she stepped off of it. She faceplanted onto the ground, her hand releasing Mathias' own as the debris from the tent's fall rained down onto her and caused her some form of injury (a cut perhaps, it was not stated in the mod). "Matt!" She cried out to her boyfriend upon hearing him yell her name. The light's overhead flickered and the world fell into darkness.

Heavy breathing would follow, the girl falling into a state of panic as she tried to wiggle out from beneath the rubble. She had to escape, had to run for the castle and... Wait, what if Mathias was hurt? She couldn't--no, wouldn't leave him behind. A hand grabbed onto her purse, which was still tucked beneath her arm, and managed to run her fingers along the spine of its zipper so she could find the end, unzip it, reach inside, and retrieve her wand. "L-L-L..." She stuttered at first, her heart still pounding against her chest. She tried to take in a deep breath so she could manage to cast the spell. "Lumos."

Was it an allergic reaction to something or was it her first and probably last heart attack at twelve? Though she knew deep down it was the empty darkness surrounding that caused such feelings, she was convinced that the abnormal palpitation meant something more than just that. One problem hasn't been cleared out of the way, another thing to be worried about was staring at her like the twin out of the shining. Congenital abnormality or a somatic symptom, another spider attacks or just her mind playing tricks. Once she got to the point of understanding, this wouldn't be as terrifying as it was at the moment. One day, she'll open up the door and be able to see that the monsters are just some misunderstood kids. But she was just a twelve year old being in the wrong place and time. The thing that spiralled around was the thought of her time coming to an end. I don't want to die too soon. Certainly not in a painful way, not like this.

Still cowered in fear with uncontrollable tremors and cries, Aurora still couldn't go back to her right mind. Her body might be there but her soul was somewhere else. Being too caught up inside the bubble of consternation, the fact that her date was also currently under a tremendous amount of stress went unnoticed. As the anxiety came in waves and became sporadic, a sudden tingling sensation on the back of her head started to creep in, immediately turning on the emergency alarm. If this doesn't stop sooner, this would be the end, which made the young girl even more tense and overwhelmed. "Count t-the sheep.. no" The sheep won't help, not in the middle of the night when she couldn't sleep, not now, not ever

Aurora hugged her body even tighter, it was her and herself only that could kick out the terrors. Though, it didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. "The song, what about the song, the song" A kid song, lyrically meaningless to most people but has a special place in her heart. It reminded her again of the moment where all was fun and well, right before the best thing she ever had was being taken away. A birthday candle lit up on top of the decorated cake was the only source of light in the middle of the dim kitchen table. Sat on the dining chair across her was a polished man and a ginger haired woman that she recognised as the Ranvier seniors. Grand-père was looking like a young lad, almost appearing to be a different person. Quite a rare sight to see considering how tired and toothless he became lately. Laughters, clicking sounds of the camera, Mamie was shyly covering her face then showed off her bilingual tongue as she pointed her finger towards the little Aurora. She couldn't remember the exact word, but it sounded effortlessly fancy. On her right was her mother, scolding another person from constantly taking a little taste of the cake before the birthday girl made her wish and blew the candle. It was him. The carbon copy of Grand-père, mischief sparked on both of his eyes, smiling from ear to ear, the kind of smile she desperately sought ever since the day when she lost it.

'Sing for us, Roe!' he said. Roe, as in fish roe, was the nickname he gave to her out of whatever wild ideas he had. "What song? tell me what song?" It was no communication with the dead but her treasured memory. He couldn't answer it, of course. He had become one with the flowers in a place where its beauty only exists in folklores. But her subconsciousness did. Taught by her mother, and soon after became the ultimate favourite song of her father's. It wasn't a surprise, he had always been a funny but peculiar man. And she began to sing to collect her senses back as the fading voice of him lent a hand in the background. As if telling her that he was there, she wasn't alone, at least that was what her mind was trying to convince her.

"Abang tukang bakso- (Hello, mr. meatball seller-)" She took a baby step. Between sobs and cries, her shaky voice managed to sing out the song. "-mari mari sini, s-saya mau beli (Come here, come here, I want to buy it)" It was a good thing most people wouldn't understand a single thing she sang, otherwise, it would confound those who were able to hear it, why would a kid asking to buy a meatball whilst being trapped under a fallen tent?
