Too many kids and teens look down on books. They actually call people who read, rude names. It’s crazy.

Books are things you can escape into. Really, it’s difficult to become a well rounded person if you haven’t opened a piece of literature, or even listened to it. How can you build an imagination without books? I don’t know…

I know :cry2: Like, reading books shouldn’t “damage your reputation”… why can’t people see that it makes you a better person. Even if you don’t always read, or you read large print/using any assistance you need, just a bit helps!

that's true...not that old, but I miss how my childhood used to be, ya know. DVDs, CDs, camcorders and we never really used phones or anything. Just cassettes, play dates and climbing trees.
You look at three year old stuck on an iPad and wonder how they will grow up without the freedom of playing with other kids and the imaginary stories. You kinda wonder what toys they have at home and if they’ve ever played with some of the ones you did…
Yeah like I was on the train once and there was this one I guessing 2 year old just the entire time watching the most inappropriate tick-tocks ever they don’t know the beauty of books and good music
true like my brothers just watch skibidi toilet, watch girls and listen to ai music T-T
