Before she moved back to the base, she saw someone who wasn't here before. Kanthil was curious about her too. Perhaps she could talk to her later. Hopefully, she wouldn't be attacked by any monkey or anything in this forest @Marietta Griffis. She also wondered where the girl she saw earlier at the base @Kanae Suzuki. As far as she was in this forest, she only interacted with monkeys.
And so she moved back to the base. Nothing happened when she was walking. But after the time earlier, she knew too well not to let her guard down. Transitioning from the lushness of the forest to the trench definitely dug a hole in her heart. The forest was her favourite, but staying there wasn't good. She definitely didn't want to meet any monkey again. If she needed a monkey's brain, she would whine to her father to buy her one.
A peaceful stroll was never in her favour. She suddenly met a cat. The big one. With dots. Yes, a jaguar. "Oh, kitty cat. Don't come here. Go away... Shoo shoo!" Kanthil tried to repel the big cat. However, her effort was useless. The cat didn't understand human language. If only she could speak cat language. Sadly, she could only speak snake language.
When the big cat attacked, Kanthil screamed in horror. It was between her dodge skill and the pain from her scream; the cat didn't succeed in its attempt to hurt her. She didn't have time to wonder. She ran as quikly as possible.

| xxxx | Fog limited her vision as Kanae heard lighting crash down upon the two seniors with her. To be frank, she was scared out of her mind. This was genuinely some sort of torture forest she can't wrap her head around. Insects climbed up her limbs with her futile efforts to swat them off. Usually, she didn't mind them but considering it was a foreign land, she should mind them. "You gotta be kidding me." she could barely see who was in the zone with her already. Ugh. She wondered what the people at the zones behind were doing with all the incoming people. Their flag was still safe, righttt? No telling for sure but the girl trusted them. Not like they were fumbling first years.... unless deep inside they were. Kanae was really beginning to question every life decision that had led her to this moment. Taking a slow breath, she adjusted her grip on her wand. Panicking wasn't going to magically part the fog or stop whatever was lurking inside it. If anything, it would just make her the easiest target. "Anyone still alive over there?" Kanae called out, her voice carrying only a short distance before the fog swallowed it whole. Silence.
