One of the duellist from the opposing team was seen pointing her wand at the sky, but nothing happened. A failed spell maybe? While Sere's attention was focused on Reyna, the Gryffindor wanted to try her luck by casting a fire spell taught in her second year. She thought the target would be focused on either the cloud or her wand, but the girl was quick enough to dodge her Incendio Duo.

Sere sighed, thinking about what to do for the next round when Eugenia -who had her wand pointed at Sere but her spell was aimed at Siobhan- got the struck by the storm cloud's lightning. Gosh, that's terrifying...

So she hadn’t hit her target, but there had been a crack of lightning that echoed across both the students in front of her. Siobhan could feel the bristling of the fine hairs along her neck and arms as the electrical charge in the air stood to remind the duel goers “don’t forget me.”

She steadied herself. There wasn’t very much time left and they still needed to win for Gryffindor House. It was part of her competitive streak and she couldn’t allow herself to let her team down anymore than she had before. She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear and sighed to herself as she began the mental gymnastics of plotting her next move.

The end of the duel was nearing, ever steady in its approach and ever present in these duellists' minds. With it, both teams elected to perform some healing. Reyna and Siobhan were thoughtful team players, ignoring their own pains for the plight of a teammate, and Eugenia and Ula would both feel a little better as the spell's purple light sunk into their skin, though for Eugenia it was mostly ruined by the Flipendo the knocked into her shoulder soon after.

Siobhan might decide she would have been better off healing herself once she noticed the flames caught on her sleeve. Eugenia and Sere had decided to try their hands again at setting the stage aflame and Eugenia had partially succeeded with Siobhan. Sere found less success as Eugenia managed an impressive leap out of the way of the fire. On the whole, it was a better round for both teams.

Thus was going to be a little better, right? Wrong. Her spell did hit, and it felt like things were a little better when she was healed. And then out of no where came a Flipendo of Ula that hit her great and hurt her even greater. What was going wrong in this match? It seemed that if you’re outnumbered in duelling, it’s almost always a death sentence. But well, the Hufflepuff team didn’t have many options but to continue and hope they win, so that was what Eugenia did, with the foolish hope of finally doing something right.

Siobhan let out a sharp yelp as a burst of flames erupted against her sleeve. The burn did enough damage to bring stinging tears to her eyes as she panicked while putting it out. Luckily they did not spread and even though she was trying to be brave about it, she couldn't help the emotional state it left her in. Choking back her tears, she nursed the wound against her chest in that way people did when they were attempting to self-comfort themselves.

The last few duels had been just as rough. With her disability, it made her an easy target as it seemed that she was going to always be labeled the weakest of the chain. The lowest of the low, and the worst on the piste. Take them out and let the real kids duel.

She couldn't think that- It wouldn't do well to make her feel any better.

A feral smirk spread across the ravenette's face as her Knockback jinx hit one of the Hufflepuff girls whom her teammate had just healed.

With the duel nearing the end, the objective was clear to the Gryffindors. They could only hope their next efforts would be on the favourable side of fate.

The eighth round went very well for the Regal Roar, but it would have been better if her Incendio Duo hadn't missed. She already felt something wrong with her accuracy since the last duel, and it became so real now. She had to find a solution soon before this problem took her sleep hours.

Well, for now, let's focus on the remaining two rounds and win this game.
