Werewolf Changes & Sports

- The changes to werewolves does not apply to sport games that are in progress.
- The sport teams may announce in coming weeks relevant clarifications regarding werewolves and how it applies to specific sports, so be on the look-out.
- To update your werewolf, simply apply for this in the Encyclopedia Update Form and this will be applied to your trunk like an ability. There is no need to write a new werewolf application.

Sadly Piérre has made the decision to step down as a Gryffindor Dueling Captain Team. They've been a steady, and active member of the team for quite a while now and we're sorry to see them leave.

This does mean we have an open position for a Gryffindor Duel Captain. We are looking for another engaged and reliable member to fill this role and someone who is invested in the future development of the sport.

As a captain, you will have to:

• Moderate Duelling matches
• Help with strategy, team discussions, roster updates, and action submissions
• Contribute to the further development of the Dueling system

So why apply?

• First of all, you get to help Gryffindor win!
• This is a moderator-level position and comes with a certain level of responsibility but also privilege
• There's also some compensation

Please note that after sending in this application you will have to complete a short test to show you are proficient with the Dueling system and can do basic math. This is necessary to ensure you will be able to moderate a match.

There is no deadline for applications; however once we receive a passing test from at least one user, then we will announce we are closing applications in 1 week. Users will have the opportunity to apply until this new deadline and then be given 1 week after the deadline to complete and submit the moderation test. You are allowed to seek out assistance from other users and moderators, as we are assessing your ability to learn the system and ask questions as needed while moderating.

Like last year, we will be utilising an opt-in system for iNPC sports to reduce potential inactivity concerns.

Prerequisites:
1. You must have made your iNPC sub-account.
2. You must be listed on your school’s official sports roster.
3. If you are on the sports roster and would like to play, you must opt in. Each sport will have a sign-up thread in which you must post to confirm activity.

• Broom Racing
• Quidditch
• Duelling

4. Once the roster-only opt-in closes, sports captains will finalise teams as needed. You will then gain access to a locker room forum and Discord channel (if applicable) where you can strategise. Bear in mind, as not all schools have full teams for all sports, we may need to combine schools.

As one of our Quidditch captains, Elena Clark, has announced her intention to leave the site, we are now looking for a new Quidditch captain for Ravenclaw, to work alongside @Ebony Vetra. This is a role with a fair level of responsibility, but it is also very fun (speaking from experience), and you get to participate in team building, gameplay and moderation.

As a captain, you will have to:
- Moderate Quidditch matches
- Lead team discussions & develop strategy
- Manage roster updates, and action submissions
- Contribute to the further development of the Quidditch system

So why apply?

• First of all, you get to help Ravenclaw win!
• This is a moderator-level position and comes with a certain level of responsibility but also privilege
• There's also Sickles in it for you (and don't we all want to be rich)

Duelling Captain Wanted

• This is a moderator-level position and comes with a certain level of responsibility but also privilege;
• You will be compensated for your efforts with additional money outside the one in your common room. (Money money money! We all want to be rich, don't we?)
• You can moderate a game for other houses;
• Just imagine your character as a captain. Would they be so cool?

After a solid tenure as a duelling captain, @Violence Bloodthorn is stepping down from this role. Thus, we are looking for a new captain to moderate duels & expand the system alongside @Aislin Darragh and @Fawkes Chaos.

As a captain, you will...

• Moderate duels.
• Help with strategy, team discussions, roster updates and submission of actions.
• Contribute to the further development of the Duelling System.
