English - Thoughts || Saturday, May 30th, 2026XXXEonaria didn't think she had ever utilised the Levitation Charm in an official duel before, and it was a bit surreal seeing a whole other person being lifted in the air. It would be hard to cast spells from up there. In fact, if Eonaria ever got levitated in a duel, she'd probably drop her wand... she'd have to think about that over the summer. She mouthed a silent apology to the Ravenclaw before glancing across the stage. If Angel hadn't dodged, they could've taken out their first opponent of the match... She and Julia were still unscathed. She wondered what was going on in the heads of the Ravenclaws.Action: as strategised

And...of course he was back to the spell not hitting the target. It was not a problem of casting per se, it seemed to more so be a problem of either Angel evading him very well, or him having a very bad aim half the time. Debatable discussion really.
Regardless, it was clearly not impossible, it just too more trial and error than Eric would ever really want to admit even to himself.
Still they were not in such a bad situation, it looked like they still had the upper hand, even if by a hairstrand almost, but the team would likely take what it could right now.
The focus was to actually win the fight, not be the best, the Gryffindor had to remind himself of that every now and again.
Once more, come on, they could do it, hopefully.

Even though her health was running low Angel was hanging in there she didn't want to let her team or house down so she was determined to last as long as she could even if it meant being in pain but she was determined not to be the first one out. She gripped her wand firmly knuckles turning white and she was not breaking eye contact with the Gryffindor team.

Derek was surprised that his spell had actually hit Violence, and a critical success no less! He looked around quickly and saw that Eonaria had lifted Violence high up into the air with a well cast Wingardium Leviosa, but Eric’s spell just missing his target. Just as Derek lowered his wand, a spell shot past him, just barely missing him. He looked over and saw that Julia had her wand raised. Well, that was uncalled for, he thought, as he had suffered a flipendo the round before. Well, time to unleash a spell of his own then… for revenge.

Violence couldn't believe it. The Gryffindors had a good strategy, she had to give that to them. Unfortunately, the people suffering were her and her teammates. She sighed, feeling weak with all the spells aimed at her. She barely had time to react to those, and in turn, she could not cast one herself. This was turning out to be extremely difficult. Angel, Julia and Violence would have to do something to even the odds or they'd lose. She looked at her teammates, hoping to get some ideas.

𓏲ּ𝄢 𓏲ּ𝄢 ──────────────────"this is going to be a good match for the six youngins"Another mostly uneventful round as the Ravenclaws stand almost motionless, though one of them was dodging though not necessarily focusing all their energy to it. Violence, yet again, was the sole target of the Gryffindors. Eric Kim and Derek Jay both spent spells towards the Ravenclaw girl, a classic Flipendo and another Green Sparks Charm. Both spells missed had unfortunately, their intended target. Eonaria was keen on keeping up the Levitation Charm as to perhaps make it easier for her two teammates to hit the eldest of the Ravens (though that plan hasn't proved to work just yet).
It was the second time the Ravens didn't do anything besides just stand there and evade spells. Ara wondered why so. Might just be a new dueling strategy or maybe it was just them being frightened.

English - Thoughts || Saturday, May 30th, 2026XXXIt was actually pretty easy to maintain the spell. Her teammates both made nice casts, but missed. Eonaria supposed it was a bit hard to hit a levitating target, but Violence couldn't really move up there...
XXXNone of the Ravenclaws made any moves. They were probably conflicted on what to do. She stood there, puzzled, looking around the stage. Well, whatever was going on, at least it was helpful to them. You can't get hit if your opponents don't make an attempt, right?Action: as strategised

Stunned i couldn't believe we had choked again in knew if we continued the Gryffindor team would definitely win and we couldn't let that happen. I look at my teammates looking for any sign of reassurance from any of them. I was beginning to feel nervous that we were going to lose.

Violence sighed. All three of them had targeted her again. She was thankful that Eric and Derek had managed to miss her but Eonaria had been keeping up her Levitation Charm. She was at a loss for ideas on what they could do now but she was sure of one thing, whatever they did, they had to do it fast.

This was getting quite ridiculous at this point. The one spell that worked was a few rounds ago, and ever since then and even before that it was like either his focus, his opponents' evasion or overall his casting were working against him. He was glad that at least Eonaria could maintain the spell for the round even if this was not really changing much in on their side once both his and Derek's spells failed.
Yet another round, yet another try. Let's see how this one goes.
