2025/2026 Stage 3 Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor: Match 7

Violence couldn't believe it; she had successfully managed to evade another spell. This time, however, she had failed to cast as well. She looked around and saw that literally nobody else had cast a spell and she frowned, was everybody tired already? She shrugged the thought and signalled to her teammates to be ready with their actions this time.

She sucked in a deep breath, telling herself her next spell would hit. Definitely. It had to. She raised her wand, pointing it at her target and making sure she had the correct incantation before she all but shouted it out loud; and hopes for the best.

Derek paused for a moment, his actions frozen and his muscles unable to cooperate. His teammate Eonaria was no better; she had also frozen, as the round started. Perhaps the pain, or the shock of losing. Whatever it was, it had also affected the Ravenclaw, which was a relief. His teammate Eric Kim was the only one that did anything as he lunged forward with a fiery spell. As it shot towards violence, it appeared that she had came out of her stupor and leaned slightly to the left, dodging the flames. Better do good this time, Jay.

Now that's what she's talking about!

Everyone's shots fired and majority hit their targets.

Gryffindor committed to a singular target. Eonaria Kabukimono stepped in with a forceful sweep of her wand, sending a Flipendo toward Angel. Beside her, Derek Jay cast raging flames whilst Eric Kim aimed a flash of silver meant to unravel concentration through uncontrollable laughter. All spells were successful in hitting the poor Angel O'Connor.

Across the platform, Ravenclaw answered in kind. Violence and Julia raised their wands toward Eric while Angel targeted Derek. Violence sent flames towards Eric, hitting him flawlessly at the chest while Eric dodged Julia's Flipendo by a hair. Angel, despite getting hit thrice, successfully cast a lovely Flipendo and hitting her target with little effort.

Angel was standing up from the flipendo spell having hit her when she was hit by the other spells from the Gryffindor team she was in pain but she wasn't going to give up now there is something she needed to do but she didn't know what she looks at her teammates Julia and Violence.

she had to last as long as she could through this match and she was going to do her best she needed to prove to herself she could do this no matter what.

XXXThings were finally picking back up pace as the stage lit up in flashes of light. All the Gryffindors had gone for Angel, and Eonaria was honestly surprised that the first year was still standing after all that. Props to her for being tougher than she looks! Her own spell had been a resounding success after the previous two failures. The two sides had been evened out again and their comeback was not far from sight.

He was sure to have a fair share of bruises and sprains. Well, this is duelling, after all. Someone’s gonna get hurt one way or another.

Once more, Julia grit her teeth, and had to keep from clenching a her fists. The Gryffindors struck first, all targeting poor Angel. Likely disoriented with the 3 jets of light flying her way, she was unable to evade any of them. Julia's head swiveled towards her friend. Angel was still standing, but severely weakened. Despite that, she looked confident. The Ravens attacked, and another groan slipped out as she just missed her target, again. Violence, and even Angel after being hit with 3 spells, hit their targets. Of cpurse, Julia was happy for her team, but she also couldn't feel more embarassed. Taking in a deep breath, she attempted to calm herself down. She felt a surge of adrenaline spread through her veins. Angel was right, they could do this.

Violence gasped, seeing Angel being hit so badly. She felt sorry for the poor girl but she knew she had to keep herself calm and cast her own spell. However, her spell was cast a little more aggressively this time, determined to hit her target. Relief coursed through her veins when she saw Eric being hit. Her mind ran through all the spells she had learnt. There had to be something she could do for Angel, right? Anything at all?

The next neat exchange wasn't the most entertaining but it was for sure a display.

The Gryffindors lead with Eonaria Kabukimono's Levitation charm and killer accuracy, sweeping Violence off their feet as they levitated above the piste. Besides Eonaria, Derek Jay produced a crisp burst of emerald green sparks. It seemed to be Derek's day, for the charm was rather simple by nature, but it was executed with such textbook perfection that the sparks exploded across Violence's field of vision perfectly like a miniature firework display. That's sure to distract them. Eric Kim was a lot less fortunate, though, his raging fire missing the target--Angel--by a few feet.

The Ravenclaws, on the other hand, didn't get much luck this round with Violence standing almost motionless as they succumbed to the spells aimed right at her. On the contrary, Angel chose to focus on dodging while Julia's Flipendo towards Derek missed its mark as the force blasted past him by a few inches.

Well, that was inch-resting.
