When he was 8 y.o, during a family dinner with the entire Morvain family, Alaric was with his cousins. He was used to hearing comments like “pretty little girl,” but that night they had other plans. His cousins made some pink satin ribbons and pinned them to Alaric’s hair. He tried to brush them off repeatedly, but he wasn’t strong enough to fight them off on his own. He grew annoyed when the adults joined in the laughter, even though there was no mockery intended. However, there was no sign that his cousins would stop; he grew increasingly annoyed and embarrassed, until—without him realizing it—the ribbons in his hair flew off on their own like butterflies. Minyu was brought up by adopted muggle parents and therefore is not aware of her blood status (as to why I originally put it as muggleborn.) Her biological father was a pureblood wizard, and when her mother found out, she freaked out, and left Minyu with a foster family. When Minyu was just a year old, she was adopted by an Irish couple, who wasn’t able to have children of their own.
Her adoptive parents, John and Elaine, always dreamt of having a child, so when they finally got Minyu, they spoiled her rotten and made sure she always got everything she wanted.
Minyu’s childhood was calm and happy. She often felt a bit lonely, being an only child, and even though her parents did spend a lot of time with her, it didn’t make up for the fact that she had no one her age to play with.
She grew up in a big cottage, near the ocean, so Minyu was always playing on the beach, and learnt to swim as soon as she could walk. She loved the water and felt so grateful to be so close to it. She could even see it from her bedroom window!
In the summertime, they always go to visit her mother's family, and being around her cousins makes her feel less alone. Being the only Chinese girl around sometimes made Minyu feel different, even though everyone was very accepting of her.

Note: After validation I was sent a message about Minyu's height since I put it as being 137 and it is below average. If possible I would like her to keep being short, but if it is too short I would be open to changing it. Just wanted to note that it is on purpose.

ReducioI'm Laverne Taylor and I'm born on 15th October. I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I have clear skin and a curvy body. I have average height. I'm half blood and I'm proud of it. I love wearing trending clothes, and because of the way I'm built, everything suits me. Brown hair is my original hair color, and my original eye color is also hazel.
I'm courageous, self aware and very confident, but I have a flaw... I'm too proud. Well I have limited it. I'm not the always happy and funny girl, but more like the brave calm one. I'm always up for a good competition. I love a good adventure. I'm the kind who will risk all for my loved ones. I'm not a big friend group like but more of the close friend one.
My life before Hogwarts was wonderful. My mother is a pure-blood and my father is a muggle-born. Since dad is a muggle born, he also wanted me to experience life like a muggle. So that's why I went to a muggle school. I don't have any siblings. I had a good friend in school but we could never actually bond since I couldn't visit anyone's house or call anyone to mine. At home, mum got me a toy broomstick. Dad got me a scooter ( which I think is a muggle thing ).
When I was about 8, I had a badminton match. I was focusing hard on my game, this time I got it. I went to the right side, towards the place my adversary had hit the shuttlecock, but something happened in that moment. Laverne Taylor is the daughter of Elizabeth Taylor and Liam Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor is a Pureblood witch, but she married a muggle-born. Her mother is 34 and her dad is 36. Since her dad is a muggle born, he also wanted her to experience life like a muggle. So that's why she went to a muggle school. Laverne doesn't have any siblings. Her dad has a sister but she lives in France, so they hardly meet. Her mom also doesn't have any siblings so they pretty much live alone. Laverne was always asking her parents about Hogwarts, since she had heard a lot about the school from her parents. She had a good friend in muggle school but could never actually bond since she couldn't visit anyone's house or call anyone to hers. At home, Laverne's mum got her a toy broomstick, while her dad got her a scooter ( which is a muggle thing ). Laverne used to play quidditch all the time in their backyard. She looks like 14 since she can't get over her obsession of makeup and heels. She knows it's kinda too much, but she can't stop. She has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She also has clear skin and a curvy body. Laverne is not very tall. Brown hair is her original hair color, and her original eye color is also hazel.
She has quite a cupboard, filled with clothes and shoes. Her father is a really rich muggle, so that helped her in the muggle world. And her mom is a rich witch, helping her in the wizarding world. Even though she shops a lot, she never likes to boast about it.
She has a proud personality and has constant mood swings, which she tries to control. In the muggle world people are kinda rude, so it's hard to control the mood swings. And since she knows she can do magic, she used to find it hard to control her proud feelings.
First Instance Of Magic
When Laverne was about 8, she had a badminton match( a muggle game her dad asked her to play ). She was focusing hard on her game. She went to the right side, towards the place her adversary had hit the shuttlecock, but something happened in that moment. As Laverne was about to hit it back, her racquet just flew away from her hands like if an invisible hand had taken it from her at the last minute. Laverne's mum and dad were so proud! That was her first accidental incident.

Though she’d visit her extended family at times, with the pureblood side of her family approving of her halfblood status, Sia always felt closest to her parents than she did to anyone else in the world. They always made her feel dearly loved under their undivided attention, and always made sure that she had all she’d need. For that reason, Sia feels happy and confident in herself and her place in the world. She attended a muggle elementary school, where she made a few friends that she still speaks with sometimes. She hopes to pay them back for their kindness and care by doing good in her time away from them, and proving that she can be independent. Maddison is a pureblood witch from a pureblood family, shes a fifth generation hogwarts student, with her great-great grandparents meeting at hogwarts, and everyone in her faily after that attending the school. She is fiercely protective of her family and she is very intelligent and wise although she doesn't always apply herself 100% but is always prepared even if she doesn't seem to have worked too hard. Before Hogwarts, Maddison had a good but tough love family and childhood. She makes friends easily but since she has a cold exterior people often tend to stay wary of her or be afraid to approach her but once people get to know her she's bubbly and fun. She has an older brother who used to go to Hogwarts. She had a lot of friends at her previous schools and a large family network. She would spend every summer with her grandparents and her friends before school started for another year, on their large estate or at her friends' houses. She grew up having almost everything she wanted, with her brother being very protective and her favorite person, her parents worked a lot so weren't always around and her grandparents spoiling her all the time. Her friend group before hogwarts were chaotic, always doing something, whether that was taking trains up and down the country at night, or playing pranks on each other, they all attended lots of parties together making the most of summer and weekends.

Cody was born in London to his parents, Alastor and Delilah. He has three brothers, Tristan, Hugh and Jayden. He had a very decent upbringing full of love and happiness. Cody attended a boarding school called St Helens, Cody's father a wizard is a psychiatrist who helps other wizards and witches with mental problems in the asylum wings at St Mungo's, and his mother also a wizard, works at the Ministry of Magic in the High Court, is a criminal wizard lawyer who takes on dangerous cases but always comes out with a victory on her own and with the help of her team. Cody loves to read many books, Muggle and wizard, which his parents would read to him and give him when he was younger. He would also play with his brothers, and although they sometimes had disputes over small things, like missing clothes, toys, books, etc, they always resolved their issues and move on. He was always fascinated by his parents and their jobs, just like his brothers, but he just liked it when they came home, gave them cuddles, and played with him and his brothers. He loves his mother singing in the kitchen as she cooks, while his father reads the newspaper in his favourite armchair, while Cody and his brothers giggle and play alot.

His first experience with magic was at age 3, when he discovered he had it. It all started when he accidentally made one of his toys float, which made him giggle. His parents found out when they came into his room to check on him; they weren't surprised when his toy dropped, and he clapped, laughing, while they just chuckled and smiled at him. Then, over the years, his brothers also went through the same thing. Tristan made a book appear in his hand when he was five. Meanwhile, Hugh accidentally set a piece of paper on fire when he was four, and Jayden accidentally made a mug float before it shattered onto the ground when he was seven.
It was then decided that he would attend Hogwarts to help control his magic when he was older, which initially seemed daunting. However, with his parents' reassurance, he and his brothers were soon going to the famous school they had heard alot about from the Daily Prophet.
Cody and his brothers were super excited for their adventures at Hogwarts, as they wanted to control their magic, learn new things, and make friends.

The Veela bloodline of Evander Harvey Beauchamp is due to his mother, Vivienne Beauchamp (nee Laurent), who is a half-blood witch, whose own mother is a pure-blood Veela. Despite inheriting the mesmerizing beauty and innate charm due to the nature of her Veela mother, Vivienne learned to see those qualities not as a gift or privilege, but as a responsibility at a very young age. She knew that the power of her Veela allure had the ability to have a subconscious effect on the people around her and did not use that power in any way. Those lessons were taught to her son.
Right from the day he was born, there was something intriguing about Evander. He had perfect symmetry of his face and body along with gracefulness in everything he did and as he grew up, he found people spending time talking to him for no reason whatsoever. People kept praising him on his appearance, which usually made Evander feel awkward instead of pleased. Though people admired Evander for his good looks, Evander's parents used to tell him how the respect gained through looks lasts only as long as one's beauty does.
For this reason, Evander was never taught how to embrace his Veela legacy. On the contrary, he tended to be suspicious of it. What most people perceive as flirting is really just a manifestation of the principles that were taught to him by his family. Character Backstory: On 9th January 2014, a particularily cold winter morning in Finland, a boy was born to a pure-blood wizard named George, a rich half-german, half-english man who had spent most of his time in England, and a young finnish half-blood mother called Satu. When the two had married, they had agreed to move to Finland and settled down in a nice little cottage. There, Juah lived surrounded by nature and the loving finnish part of his family. His childhood was perfect and a dream of anyone, as he had a bunch of wizard friends his age growing up beside him because of how secluded their neighborhood was, without muggles except for his grandmother who had married a half-blood and had given birth to Satu.
A lake could be found near the house as well as a huge forest in which the children used to play. During winters, they would grab their sleighs and enjoy the snowy and cold weather by building snowmen and throwing snowballs. The summers were spent on swimming in the lakes, discovering said forest and playing tricks on the neighborhood. Overall, there was always something to do, to laugh about, and it was extremely peaceful and safe from being discovered as wizards due to the secludedness.
This was his life until he turned six. Suddenly, his father began to panic about his boy's first instance of magic taking place soon. As he had went to Hogwarts himself, he had always pushed Satu to move with him back to England because he wanted Juah to visit Hogwarts as well but he never managed to convince his wife to go along with it earlier. They shared different opinions regarding the topic. Satu adored Finland with her entire heart and Juah had a great life there. Plus, the woman had far too many responsibilities and family there to just leave it behind. This caused a dispute between the family and made George move back to England with Juah on his own after explaining the situation to him. Juah was anything but happy to lose his friends but reluctantly gave in when he saw how important this was to his father.
When they arrived in England, George showed Juah around in the mansion he owned. It was not anywhere near what Juah was used to from his cottage in Finland and he felt deeply uncomfortable living there. Eventually, George gave in and was willing to move to Ledbury and buy a small yet cozy old house on the countryside to satisfy and calm his son, who, after all, had also compromised for his father, so it was only fair to meet halfway. The family stayed in contact through owls and Satu would visit them regularily and as often as she could.
His father had to take Juah back to the mansion sometimes in order to have meetings there with old friends and contacts from the wizard world. George was too vain to invite anyone to to their small house in Ledbury and insisted on keeping up the appearances and air of importance and affluency. Since he could not simply leave Juah home alone, he dragged him along, where he spent the days in the massive library of the mansion or attending the meetings with boredom, clothed in expensive suits. He learnt to cherish arts and literature as distraction but was acquainted with the adult way of life every now and then before returning to Ledbury. While a part of his mind was fond of the luxurious lifestyle and he grew less and less disgusted by money he hadn't had any use for, his heart was still somewhere stuck in the seasons, forests, nature and calm of Finland, leaving him with a yearning for his home country and mother whenever he was in the mansion, or even at Ledbury, where he spent most of his time.
After his First Instance of Magic, George saw no reason to keep his son tied to England, so Juah would move constantly between Finland and England to spend time with both his parents equally and connect with both cultures that had become part of his identity. Since his mother speaks Finnish fluently and English only with a very grave accent, Juah learned both English and Finnish very well.
First Instance of Magic: His FIOM occured in England, shortly after he had turned eight. It happened during an overheard argument between his parents when his mother came to visit them, during which Juah was awfully scared that his parents might divorce over a simple topic as how much longer Satu could stay before having to return home to Finland again. This was a silly thought because the two really love each other even when not always the same opinion, but it spooked him enough to burst a lightbulb in the room they were talking in. The parents were surprised and turned around, finding Juah in the entrance looking at them with big eyes. George figured out that this must have been Juah's first instance of magic and was excited about it before they both comforted their son and assured him that everything was all right.

When the two had married, they had agreed to move to Finland and settled down in a nice little cottage. There, Juah lived surrounded by nature and the loving finnish part of his family. His childhood was perfect and a dream of anyone, as he had a bunch of wizard friends his age growing up beside him because of how secluded their neighborhood was, without muggles except for his grandmother who had married a half-blood and had given birth to Satu.
A lake could be found near the house as well as a huge forest in which the children used to play. During winters, they would grab their sleighs and enjoy the snowy and cold weather by building snowmen and throwing snowballs. The summers were spent on swimming in the lakes, discovering said forest and playing tricks on the neighborhood. Overall, there was always something to do, to laugh about, and it was extremely peaceful and safe from being discovered as wizards due to the secludedness.
This was his life until he turned six. Suddenly, his father began to panic about his boy's first instance of magic taking place soon. As he had went to Hogwarts himself, he had always pushed Satu to move with him back to England because he wanted Juah to visit Hogwarts as well but he never managed to convince his wife to go along with it earlier. They shared different opinions regarding the topic. Satu adored Finland with her entire heart and Juah had a great life there. Plus, the woman had far too many responsibilities and family there to just leave it behind. This caused a dispute between the family and made George move back to England with Juah on his own after explaining the situation to him. Juah was anything but happy to lose his friends but reluctantly gave in when he saw how important this was to his father.
When they arrived in England, George showed Juah around in the mansion he owned. It was not anywhere near what Juah was used to from his cottage in Finland and he felt deeply uncomfortable living there. Eventually, George gave in and was willing to move to Ledbury and buy a small yet cozy old house on the countryside to satisfy and calm his son, who, after all, had also compromised for his father, so it was only fair to meet halfway. The family stayed in contact through owls and Satu would visit them regularily and as often as she could.
His father had to take Juah back to the mansion sometimes in order to have meetings there with old friends and contacts from the wizard world. George was too vain to invite anyone to to their small house in Ledbury and insisted on keeping up the appearances and air of importance and affluency. Since he could not simply leave Juah home alone, he dragged him along, where he spent the days in the massive library of the mansion or attending the meetings with boredom, clothed in expensive suits. He learnt to cherish arts and literature as distraction but was acquainted with the adult way of life every now and then before returning to Ledbury. While a part of his mind was fond of the luxurious lifestyle and he grew less and less disgusted by money he hadn't had any use for, his heart was still somewhere stuck in the seasons, forests, nature and calm of Finland, leaving him with a yearning for his home country and mother whenever he was in the mansion, or even at Ledbury, where he spent most of his time.
After his First Instance of Magic, George saw no reason to keep his son tied to England, so Juah would move constantly between Finland and England to spend time with both his parents equally and connect with both cultures that had become part of his identity. Since his mother speaks Finnish fluently and English only with a very grave accent, Juah learned both English and Finnish very well.
First Instance of Magic: His FIOM occured in England, shortly after he had turned eight. It happened during an overheard argument between his parents when his mother came to visit them, during which Juah was awfully scared that his parents might divorce over a simple topic as how much longer Satu could stay before having to return home to Finland again. This was a silly thought because the two really love each other even when not always the same opinion, but it spooked him enough to burst a lightbulb in the room they were talking in. The parents were surprised and turned around, finding Juah in the entrance looking at them with big eyes. George figured out that this must have been Juah's first instance of magic and was excited about it before they both comforted their son and assured him that everything was all right.

Her mother worked in the accidents and catastrophes department at the ministry of magic, and her father had stayed at home to look after Lilly and her brother when she was born. Her parents had hired a tutor for them as they couldn’t attend a primary school with muggles. Her house was a reasonable size, and had a fairly big garden, along with a field across the road that no one seemed to own.
When they were younger, Lilly and her brother had shared a room up until she was 5. Her parents then had an extension built so they could have a room and a bathroom each. When Lilly was 8, her brother had his first instance of magic. He accidentally set the kitchen table on fire at night. As it was wood, it easily burnt down, and the smoke detectors went off, triggering all the doors to be closed. Her mother was at work and her father had gone shopping. No one was ant home except Lilly and her brother, and by the time her parents had returned and tried to put the fire out, he had vanished. The room was left in ashes, and although they couldn’t find his body, there was no way her brother could have made it out alive. Her parents had accepted that he was dead, and held a funeral. What Lilly doesn’t know is that when her brother was locked in the room, his fear triggered a window latch to open. He climbed out, and ran away. Unfortunately, he kept wandering around when he realised he was lost, and couldn’t see his way back to their house. He was later found in a forest, and was taken in by another family.
Lilly is an ambivert, but can be very extroverted around people when she’s comfortable.

When Lilly was 5, she was playing in the garden on the swing set her family used to have when the swing broke (it was very old). She was flung forwards but instead of falling straight away, her fall was slowed and she floated to the ground. When her dad came out to check on her, she was sitting on the ground with the broken swing behind her.

- Could you precise if your character's brother is alive or dead? It doesn't matter if your character doesn't know it, we however do need to know it.
- Why would the doors have a locking mechanism upon a fire alarm? It's unrealistic (quick researches in the reducio below) and unsafe! Please adjust your backstory accordingly. Additionally, your character is a pureblood, which means her parents are wizards. Couldn't they magically unlock the door?
Reducio- On another note, please be mindful when roleplaying this part of your story (your character's brother's death), and please make sure to remain in the PG 13 limit.1. Electromagnetic door holder — this is an electromechanical device that is power to hold a door open. When a fire alarm control panel is tripped, power would cut to the door holder and it would close, but fire doors do not lock. These would really only lock when connected to the burgler control panel, in which the door itself would automatically lock when closed. This isn’t an option here because while the smoke alarm may trip it, it wouldn’t lock.
2. Fire door release devices — the electromagnetic door holder actually falls under this category, holding a door open until a fire alarm goes off, in which case the doors would close. These also would not lock, as that is a safety hazard.
