Della heard Colin McCoire shout her name in what sounded like anger and surprise. But she didn't have time for a victory lap—it was getting congested near the finish line. Without a word between them, the two captains knew what to do: Linda grabbed Della's broom and launched her ahead. Could they do this time? It was the closest the lions had been to victory in a long while.

Raizel could potentially get back to her broom, continue the race, try to catch up but, where was the fun in that? That or she's just looking for an excuse to leave this race since it's been going on for a while. She thought by now, someone would've crossed the finish line, hoping it would be one of her team but with the race still ongoing, those who were on the lead were probably still fighting on who would cross first.

Another idea came into her mind. She could just continue sabotaging the other racers while she was on the ground. Maybe she'll have better luck and hit this time. Well... no, not this time. Not only did she fail but she got caught doing so, for the first time. Wow, took them long enough to notice since this wasn't the only race she tried casting it. "My bad." She said with a shrug although there wasn't any remorse on her face when she used that spell.

Linda stopped her movement and found Della. This time she decided to attempt to help her co-captain to move further along the path. Even if it was just a little bit more.

She sighed. Once again it didn't really look like they could win, however, they seemed to be close. Would they have any luck? She didn't have answer. However, if anyone looked at her, they would only see confidence and trust in her posture.

In contrast to the previous round it was looking like everyone was just focussing on getting over the finish line, with both Alyss and Kaitlyn taking precautions to make sure they weren't hindered in their flight. Martyr and Graci also seemed to want to make sure that their teammates wouldn't face the same fate as Alyss and end up taking a nice cool bath. "The racers seem to be focussing on just getting over the finish line! I don't blame them, they are so close and even a small mistake could cost them the win! Martyr has also tried to redeem herself for the previous leg-locker curse, this time she just manages to cast it! No disaster this time round, although Pyce might want to go round the corners with a bit more caution than normal." Mylo narrated, happy to see each team try and support their ally's in whatever way possible. However that was disrupted as they were informed of yet another racer failing to be as sneaky as they wanted to be. "And that's another penalty round for Colin for attempting to cast the Freezing Charm at Della, I know it's warm out today but unlike the name suggests that spell won't help your target cool off! Let's hope he uses his time off to take care of those flames he seems way to unbothered about!" He winced, watching as the flames didn't seem to have any intention of stopping.

As Kyra hadn't moved in the entirety of the game Mylo quickly glanced over at the starting line, not surprised to see the snake still in the same spot. Wyatt had also seemed to give up, having tried to catch up to his teammates for a short while however apparently deeming it more useful just to stay in one place, Mylo wasn't sure he could agree. "Raizel has just finished her penalty round and can slowly start thinking about continuing on her journey again. Let's just hope she hasn't enjoyed her rest too much to repeat it!"

"Linda however seems to be going at full speed, she seems to be caught off guard by the amount of trees however as she has slammed into two of them. She must be grateful that the Bowtruckles haven't seemed to migrate to this cluster yet!" He shouted, noting that maybe the heat had something to do with her lack of accuracy, especially as these were supposed to be reasonably easy to avoid.

"There is such a thing as too much speed people! It's no use being able to get very far if you are knocked unconscious before you can get anywhere, however Linda seems to be taking these hits like a champion as she isn't allowing it to slow her down in the slightest! Martryr however seems to have decided to focus her attention on casting her spell, not wanting to have a repeat of what happened last time! Or maybe she just likes small spaces, who knows!" He shouted, looking a bit further down the track as Linda continued on, probably sporting a few more bruises than before.

"Graci's similar tactic of staying put to cast doesn't seemed to have worked in her favour unfortunately, at least the spell didn't backfire though! And there's quite a few worse places to be stranded on this track." Looking at the lion who had forfeited her own movement to try and help her teammate, it was quite sweet actually. "Linda seems to be slowing down however, giving her a good view of Colin who has won himself a luxury penalty of staying still! Maybe Linda could be kind enough to stop him from turning into a BBQ'd snake as it seems he's unlikely to do so himself!" Mylo shouted, not really understanding why Colin had decided to allow the flames to get this bad.

"Blaize is blazing on as he narrowly manage to avoid getting any of the sticky stuff on himself and easily manoeuvrers through the tight space, not many have managed to avoid this unit! He truly isn't letting the heat get to him!" Mylo states, trying not to let the small chuckle at his - admittedly terrible - joke be audible.

"And we're back at the unit that has stopped quite a few in their tracks already! You might've thought that by now they'd have warned each other that whatever they heard was false! However Blaize doesn't seem to have gotten the memo as he also comes to a stop, although it looks like he wasn't planning on getting much further anyway. Della however flies past, seemingly not giving the noise even a second of her time, the only thing on her mind the finish line."

They truly were getting to the end and Mylo could not say how it was going to end, however they hoped that none of the racers needed a bath as they could imagine how disappointing it would be to fall so close to the end. "We're onto the final obstacle, and it seems like they have all learned from Alyss's mistake, and are holding onto their brooms for dear life. Not a single one of these racers even seem to flinch at the sudden cascade of water, Pyce probably appreciates it with how uncomfortable they must've been after all that heat."

"It is quite literally neck and neck as to who's going to bring home the glory for their house! Two of each team seem to have made their way to the end, each one wanting to be the first to cross over the line!" He shouted, keeping a very close eye on the last 4 racers to make sure that he caught the final score. "And it looks like Della has crossed over first! Closely followed by Pyce, Kaitlyn and Alyss! Even just the slightest push of wind could've changed this outcome, it was truly that close! However this means that Della has brought home victory for her team, Gryffindor has won this race!" They declared, adrenaline coursing through his body as though they had been one of the racers. This had been a very close race and Mylo was very happy to have seen how everything went, especially with this having been their first race. So all in all it had been a very good day!
