quidditch Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw - Spring 2026

Looking at her team in play was awesome, even though the game wasn't exactly going in their favour, but watching them do so many things makes her feel like a proud mother, which is weird because she's younger than them.

----Well, Harumi was just like that, always worried about the people she cared about, and she cared about alot of people, mind you. She seemed to further prove that by looking worried about Avery when she fell off her broom. Apparently she didn't become totally immune to people getting hurt after all, thankfully Pamela saved Avery just in time, so Harumi can rest assured, for now.

----Harumi also looked worried when the other girl, Winnie, was falling off her broom, Mamori did say something about not being aggressive towards her, hopefully that was nothing, though.

Not crying was difficult when you were facing the end of an era. Aly was so brave, accepting her final time on the field, but she had always been far more of a leader than Winnie. Maybe all the tears put her off her usual game, but she only managed to score twice. She blinked in surprise when the younger girl managed to twist the quaffle from her grasp.

Reducio

In the role of Chaser when you attempt to catch a passed Quaffle (such as when the Keeper has possession of the Quaffle and passes it to a teammate) you have advantage (meaning that it is rolled twice and you keep the better option) on attempts to catch if the opponent team attempts to intercept.

In the role of Chaser, as a free action if the user of this broom is successful in the quafflegrab they can as a free action pass the Quaffle to another user in an attempt to score. There is a chance of the quaffle being intercepted, however due to the fact that the user is "so fast" with the quaffle this would be considered "surprising" and the attempt to score would be done at +3 accuracy by the player it was passed to in an attempt to score.

Note: The attempt to score would be an automatic attempt by the user that catches the passed quaffle.

In the role of Chaser, if you have a contested quaffle grab and a contested strength roll between yourself and another user is in progress, unless they have the same broom, you would be the victor of the contested quaffle grab. In addition, rounds where you are successfully carrying the quaffle in an attempt to score, you only take half-damage from bludgers and blatching attempts.

PARAGON OF HEALTH: Winnie is boosting Aly Salinger and Jorah Moussa, giving them an extra 10% of health.

Landon knew that the match was going to be a rough one, and the first bit of the match proved this to be true. He watched as everything happened after cheering for Atlas. He was so proud to have been part of the Quidditch team with Atlas. It would be hard to watch her go. Landon cheered for his team as they scored 20 points, though he was a little nervous when he heard that Aly had spotted the Snitch already. He really wanted Hufflepuff to win, obviously, but if they didn't, he still wanted a fun game for Atlas's last one.

And the match had started. Mamori might have told them not to be too rough with the Ravenclaw chasers, but to hell if she was going to take that lying down. She would put up a proper fight out of it. With Atlas not guarding the hoops, it was all up to her to protect their hoops and set the scene. And so she was off.

...And immediately lost the quaffle to Harp- Athanatos. Tsk. That wouldn't do.

The next scrimmage, she dived in harder, and actually managed to wrestle the ball out of her counterpart's hands; quickly passing it off. Only to be blocked. Welp. Nothing doing there, her battle was here and she'd just have to trust in @Mamori Anezaki to do his part when it came.

Third scrimmage, had Camilla handily overmatched by her Ravenclaw competitor. But she came back with a vengeance on the fourth try; and then again on the fifth.

"Eyes up here, princess," she called out to @Winnie Athanatos. "Can't have you off daydreaming when you're up in the air. Someone might just tackle you right out of your broo-"

Oop. Seemed someone had blatched her after all. Oh well.

As the whistle blows, Avery chases the nearest bludger to redirect back at the other team. It's as she nears that the sound reaches her ears. Booing? Most of the voices were unrecognizable and as such paid little heed. One, though, was more familiar and louder than the rest. A glance stolen towards her own bench is long enough to break her focus and disrupt her timing as she swings at the bludger. It soars back across the pitch but at the wrong angle. The beater tsks quietly and tries to refocus.

Jorah took to the air and lined up his target, Hufflepuff's Beater Avery. He prepared to swing when his target turned to meet him. Is she... dual weilding? "Merlin's beard." A cold shiver ran up Jorah's spine and goosebumps developed across his skin. He felt an empty pit in his stomach. If a brief instant he lost his confidence. His palms were sweaty, but he swung at Avery anyway. Miss! Ugh, come on!
