Errand Completed Gifts of Kindness in Enchanted Ramadan

Final Errand for Enchanted Ramadan 2026

Eid is a time when generosity and community comes together through shared meals and exchanged gifts. This year, students and adults are invited to Hogwarts to take part in an afternoon dedicated to creating and giving small presents to the people (and elves) who made this month a little brighter.

The Great Hall has been rearranged for the occasion. On one side, tables are covered with arts and crafts supplies. From colored parchment, ribbons, beads, and bits of fabric; for those who enjoy making things by hand. Participants may sit here and design cards, bookmarks, or other simple trinkets and small keepsakes. On the other side, tables display a range of modest, ready-made items that may be wrapped and gifted, including sweets, quills, bookmarks, little lanterns, and other such small tokens.

Every participant is encouraged to prepare three gifts:
1. One for a house-elf, for all the work they do in the background to quietly keep the castle running. These gifts can be left on a clearly marked table, where house-elves may collect them later in their own time. Clothing and clothing-adjacent items should not be gifted to house-elves
2. One for a friend, whether that is someone close or one that's only recently come to be appreciated.
3. One for a member of staff, to acknowledge the adults who guided, challenged, or simply listened.

Gifts do not have to be expensive or elaborate. Some may treat this as a light-hearted opportunity to tease friends with funny gifts. Others may use it to thank someone who helped them through a difficult moment, or to reach out to someone they found intimidating before. All of these are welcome, as long as the spirit of Eid is honored.

This errand takes place earlier on the same day as A Blessed Eid Banquet. Characters may spend the afternoon preparing and delivering their gifts, then later join the feast to eat, talk, and socialize.

ERRAND GUIDE
1) Each participating character prepares three separate gifts:
➜ 1 for a house-elf
➜ for a friend,
➜ 1 gift for a member of staff.

2) Gifts may be handmade at the craft tables, used from the ready-made gift table, or a mix of both.

3) Giving the gifts!
[ For House-elves]
➜ left on the designated table in the Great Hall
➜ No clothing!

[ For Friends & Staff ]
➜ handed over in person, left with a note, or sent via owl or other in-character means, as appropriate.

How to Qualify for Rewards
[ 5 Sickles and 1 House Point per every gift made for an elf, a friend, and a staff ]

1) Minimum 200 words per gift.
This may be written as one combined post of at least 600 words that clearly shows all three gifts being chosen/made and given, or separate posts, each focusing on a different gift, as long as the total word count per gift is met.

2) Please make it clear in your post which part corresponds to which gift (e.g. label sections “Elf gift”, “Student gift”, “Staff gift” in a small OOC note if needed).

3) If you sent a gift for an elf, a student, and a staff, you are eligible for a total of 15 sickles and 3 housepoints

4) You have 23 March - 23 April to get rewards
