Dear Mika,
I hope this letter finds you well. I merely wanted to send this letter to show my appreciation to you as a friend. As the Enchanted Ramadan comes to an end, we were tasked with showing appreciation to someone that is close with you. And for me, that is you, Mika.
Though you were quiet in the beginning, I am so happy that you have opened up to me and became one of my closest friends. And even dare I say, best friend. There are so many things we were able to connect with and talk about. From our love of musicals and theater to anything food-related, I am glad that we met. To think it all started with a partnership in potions! My, I remember how horrified you looked when I asked to be your partner. How far we have come.
I do look forward to all the adventures we will embark on in the future. Because I can already tell, my friend, that our journey has just begun. Also, please mind my extremely formal writing. I do write very differently from how I speak, for some odd reason. I suppose it is from the teachings of my tutor. I can swear that I still hear her yelling at me in French whenever I write. My poor grammar would always make her regret her life's decision of becoming a tutor.

If you heard a scream in your tower, don't worry, that was me. How dare you give me such a fact this early? That's low, Sky. I mean, best friend??? As hard as you may find it to believe, you're my first best friend, and that's not a role I take for granted. I am very, very honoured honored to be your best friend. And don't mind the formality in your letters, I feel like a wife reading her husband's letters from war.
A French tutor, you say? Now you made me feel dumb, which is a lot to say, considering the fact that usually, people say that they're the ones feeling dumb in my presence, but oh well.
Anyway, I hope my informal writing does not disturb you, my well-educated, french-tuttodrtutored friend. At lack of a tutor, my mom taught how to write letters. I think that's where our differences begin. There, and the clear difference between our families. Anyway.
Thanks again for considering me your best friend. Once again, you have no idea how important is this to me. Now you signed a life contract with me, you're stuck with it.
