is your character based on your real personality?

Like most of the other, Lemme say both Yes and no. We both have common things like love to read, play chess and making friends. But I think my character is more extroverted than me. The real me is a Ravenclaw but my character is a Slytherin (unfortunately). And of course, I'm not a witch (Duh!).

Personality mostly the same, but she's definitely more bubbly and outgoing than me. We both like to read and write, but I don't know how to play the flute (I do play the violin).

Nope. Simon is someone I'd aspire to be and that I think more people should be like, but sadly no.

Yes and no… Amelia has similar values to me but she is just a bit more… extreme. She goes to great efforts to follow and obey rules and doesn’t hesitate to get others in trouble. She is also far less shy than I am, but also will get upset in front of people she barely knows. And she, of course, faces very different challenges to what I face irl

Since I'm on my next gen & have a prof character, I mentioned all of them, but I can totally edit them out and focus on Livia if that's preferred!

For Livia, we can both be perfectionistic, but I think that’s where most of the similarities end. There’s a lot of stuff I’m waiting for future years to let show for Livia, but I do not see her as very similar to me.

Cyrus is not like me, but I am very sad about that. I think it would be good for me to be more like Cyrus. He is meant to be someone who believes that everyone could be good if they tried, and he has such a joyous, whimsical outlook on life. #goals.

I do not relate to Koko much at all. We’ve both done journalism. That’s about it.

If I relate to any of the characters I have on the site, it’s PROBABLY Jessamine, but I also wouldn’t call her a self-insert. We defo have the same sense of humour...

Robin has parts of me when I was her age - not much of me now. I write with familiarity - music, reading, large family, comfort in our own company - those kinds of things i can certainly relate to robin on. It's simpler pulling from your own experiences for the mundane things.

I am certainly not as morbid or blunt as robin. Nor do I wear anything even remotely similar to what Robin pulls out. She's very detail oriented - I am the opposite. I am a lot more in tune with people and crave deep connections. Something Robin will hopefully learn with time!

paris and i are actually fairly similar. but there are a couple key differences that i think definitely make her her own person
i adore reading and paris tends to avoid it. also she loves skipping class and isnt very good at school. i dont love school, but im good at it
as to paris' approach to people, she is slightly more outgoing, but i would call both of us overthinking introverts. we can both be impatient and blunt, but my manifestations of these traits are only in my head. rarely ever will i be impatient aloud
unlike paris, i have never hit anyone out of malice or anger.
both of us are veeeery rambley in thoughts, but paris moreso in words than me
we both have adhd but i do not have tourettes
i have a larger family than paris and we both share a passion for everything animal related
basically paris is a bit of a more outspoken version of everything i think. i wish i was less quiet but people expect it now so idk how to change it. so i think ive kind of used paris to be that version of me

Nope not at all. Well, perhaps her insecurity, but I deal with it differently than my character. I try to be confident and nice, my character tries to be arrogant and rude. Who knows how she'll be in the future though. Our styles don't align either, but I do like both.
