Not at all!

Ava is almost the opposite of me! She’s a poor student in school who doesn’t apply herself, and loves causing chaos. OOC I’m much more academic oriented and I’d never cause the kind of chaos Ava does. Ava also hates relying on her friends and often isolates herself from them, whereas OOC I need a good support system.

The only areas we’re similar is using our sports as outlets, Ava often takes out anger during practice, and similarly I use running as a way to channel my frustrations.

Yes, would be the short answer. Especially at the beginning. To be completely honest, now she is who I wish I could be, a girl I aspire to be more like. Most of the RPs I do are based off a random whim I get, a burst of motivation for writing her character.
The feelings she feels are based off of my own, but at the end of the day, she is an ideal that likely will not be reached in my life time.
She is a bookworm, like myself. She loves fall, and the color green. Most of her favorite things are based off of my own, even her name being derived from one of my best friend's.

Only a few bits here and there! Little things like Emily's love for nature and her overall curiousness is definitely me, as is her love for mythology and folklore and in some ways, her independence (though I definitely think Emmi handles that better than I ever could! )

In other ways, Emily and I are quite the opposites - she's much more soft spoken and composed than yours truly behind her (I'm definitely the grumpier out of the two of us! ). She's also a lot more outgoing and social, whereas I'm a timid little bean Often in the ways she's presented in RPs and solos, she's calm and collected, very rarely losing her composure and finding joy in everything (aside from the whole Darkest Night kerfuffle ), something I think I could learn from Emmi these days . That being said, we're similar in that we're very emotional people, taking an emotional approach to understanding situations, with Emily leaning a little more on empathy - for the both of us, we're similar in that we're tuned into our feelings and aware of them. Another way we're similar is that we overthink everything

Korinna is generally based on my personality, yes !! She's a little bolder and quieter at times, makes friends quicker than I ever would she's a little awkward with first encounters but a sweet little bean !! Pretty much all of her interests are my interests as well, which I think makes them really easy to write about. She also plays the same instrument I do

So I think generally, she's a more confident and younger self insert, and I like that !! it's been really cool to write

Honestly? It's a mix of both yes and no for my Av.

As far as her outgoing personality? Well, we're completely the opposite. Av is super friendly and always approaching people in order to make new friends. She's also very extroverted. Me? I'd say I'm super friendly, but I'm extremely introverted.

Lots of her experiences, how she reacts, and some of the things that she is going through are similar to me in a way, though her events are much more dramatized because why not? Drama and hard times in life always help build a better character arc.

A couple things we are very much the same about is we're both bookworms, love cats (my second fav animal is a cat, but Av's first is a cat), we both love the color red, and we're both Gryffindors!

Like av, yes and no. I put her through a lot more then I could. or I will... her life is more interesting but yeah. She has more self confidence but at the same time, self doubt and anxiety like me. She can a have a conversation with anybody, unlike me. Her life is a lot more complicated though. she is also way richer... She does a lot of the same activity's too. She plays the viola and dances. pretty much who I want to be i guess

Olivia and I have some things that is the same, but not that much. Well, I’m also pansexual and we kinda have the same style. But I’m not a werewolf or have bad mental health.
