Character Name: Dusana Sabo
Encyclopedia: Pink
Job Title: Intern Healer
Job Description: After the catastrophic year that had been her time at Hogwarts, Dusana had decided to step away from her former school for some much needed thinking. She'd had her own daughter to think of, Dusana's own mother citing that she needed to spend more time with Mabel. She spent most of her year at school looking after other people's children and not her own. Mabel needed more stability in her life than just her grandmother.

The ear worm that Dusana wasn't good enough for the post also played a part in her stepping down. The magical incident at the ball which left a student blind in one eye had made the witch realise that she had much more to learn.

After stepping down, Dusana decided to go to Peru and be with her cousins for a short while, which is where she saw an advertisement for intern healers. The poster, brightly coloured caught her attention fast and wiggled it's way into her brain. When Dusana returned to England, she knew what she must do. She sought out Healer Posick (npc), a renowned Healer at St Mungo's, so that she could intern under him and learn all that she could. With luck, she'd be able to fix more maladies that came her way. It also helped that St Mungo's was in London, close to her daughter.

Character Name: Astrea Soleil Neptune
Encyclopedia: xi. [ justice ]
Job Title: Ministry Level 1 Employee.
Job Description: Ambitious to her core, yet undeniably reticent and near-anachronistic in her adherence to pureblooded traditions, it was only a matter of time before Astrea sought greater things than what Hogwarts could provide. The Ministry of Magic, as wizarding Britain's foremost governing body, appeared to be the pinnacle of organised expertise. Her top marks and lengthy career as a duellist aside, her family's enduring connections further eased her path towards political recruitment. It was not long after graduation that she was contacted to work in London.

Perhaps foolishly, Astrea had initially considered a diplomat’s career, but the mere realisation of networking and crucial social interactions quickly put an end to such plans. She, who truthfully failed to see the merit in subjecting herself to needless conversation, would be far better suited to use her analytical skills to benefit the Minister themselves. Processing paperwork seemed a tedious, thankless and often self-perpetuating task, but it was one that Astrea found reliably productive. Without the patient and organised obligations of the Ministry's least publicised administrative staff, all else would become far more convoluted. If duty called her towards scrutinising documents more than risking her well-being on the duelling piste, she'd gladly bear the burden of officework and professional censorship for as long as it benefited her.

Character Name: Johannes Sauer
Encyclopedia: xii. [ the hanged man ]
Job Title: Librarian Aide.
Job Description: As much as one would expect Johannes to jump directly into an exciting career of many conflicts and few explanations, he could be sensible sometimes. Sensibility, in this case, pointed to a glaring lack of post-graduation experience and towards endless possibilities to supplement that. He'd never been one for a quiet life. Despite the intensity of it all, emergency medicine seemed like a worthwhile career. Combat medicine promised both excitement and ready usefulness to his fellow wizards.

Yet further research into post-graduate training programs shook his confidence. Both healing and auror work were intensive, and potentially joining his fellow aspirants without prior preparation seemed inadvisable. For all of his intense revival skills and inenviably brusque bedside manner, he hadn't spent his last three years of specialised study at Durmstrang as a healer, but as an experimenter of most spell combinations. With Romeo on hand as their ever-present medic, his talents were often reserved for true emergencies, which were luckily infrequent enough to prevent routine catastrophe but didn't do much for hands-on experience.

Seeking to research further before applying for either career, Johannes took up an internship alongside several wizarding researchers at the German National Library of Medicine (ZB Med) in Cologne. Between shelving books and cataloguing materials, he spends much of his time studying, making the most of his first year post-graduation to bridge the gap between self-study and a real future elbow-deep in magical emergency medicine.
