I think it looks great! You might want to provide some more detail that Liara is an owl though, it took me a while to realize that Liara was a pet and not a human, and later that she was an owl. (hunting applies to multiple pets) Maybe mentioning feathers? Otherwise, awesome! :3

Oh I saw this! Poor Avery ó-o
Though as a piece of writing on its own, it's a bit vague as to what happened with her mother, so as a reader I personally can't fully understand the character because I don't know what she's reacting to, only that it's something about her mother when she was eight ><;;
I'd put something to make it more clear :3
I'm curious what people think of my solo? I've been coming back to it again and again, always in an endless cycle of editing :'D
