I don't get paid weekly, instead I'm paid a whole near two months after the work I've done.
So for example:
I worked X-amount of time in June.
I don't get that paycheque until the end of July.
And whatever I work in July I won't get until the end of August.
So there's this huge gap where I'm not paid. The first month working, I was due rent and was hoping to be paid at the end of the month (like any other job) but no... So it was near two months of begging the landlord to wait some more until I actually got paid.
i'll come to your side right away, so you just stay there and wait, as you are.

yeah i think thats how it usually is.... poor emi!!! also totally unrelated but im buying a new keyboard with my first paycheck because mine has randomly decided to just stop working all together!! its hell to type on!!! with my wifi being out for so long im not really using the pc that much but!!!!!!! i cant do this anymore

I'm glad I'm not the only one completely baffled by the payment system...

See, if jobs down my neck of the woods didn't constantly demand 100 years of experience and were actually targeted towards what I'm actually good at (sorry, but a street performer taking an undergrad in Creative Writing is not suited for an accounting firm or any kind of fast-paced pressure my anxiety...), I'd be far away from my current job as possible by now.

The other Harry Potter RP website I’m on is so frustrating. I think I may just disappear from it like I did my other account because every time I write something or don’t even realize I need to do something, they owl me every week about it when I don’t have time to do it. They even threatened to ban me if I didn’t do anything.

Call me old fashioned, but that doesn't sound very "RP" of them. That sounds like simulation than an actual RP mechanic... I agree! It doesn’t even feel like an RP since you don’t actually post 200+ word RPs. They won’t even let me get my old account back since I lost both the email and password, but I believe I still have the same IP yet they said they can’t help me because they don’t have proof that I’m the same person. Funny thing is that my friend that got me on the site years ago could confirm that it’s me, but they probably won’t let that happen either.
