Eira Cravensworth 𓆙 Second Year 𓆙 Slytherin

Proper. Polite. A Little Princess.

Those are the words used to describe Eira when she introduces herself. As part of the longstanding pure-blood line of the Cravensworth main branch, and the daughter of a witch whose family was rumored to have practiced the dark arts, it wasn't surprising that Eira was taught to show poise and etiquette befitting her role.

Or at least, that's what her tutor, Madam Roscov had taught her.

While she lived a comfortable life with wealthy parents in a large estate in Nuneaton, Eira grew up to be an independent and friendly girl who had a deep fascination with Muggles and their technology.

Despite looking confident, Eira has a deep-seated insecurity within her from the nasty experience that she had with her second cousin William, who called her a snob and assumed that her friendly demeanor was a ruse and she secretly looks down upon others because she's a Von Thaine, something she doesn't quite wholly understand.

Determined, adventurous, and ambitious, Eira is a natural-born leader who is not afraid to take risks for her goals, though this might be impeded by her stubbornness and rarely shown ruthless attitude if someone or something gets in her way. Whilst she is fiercely loyal, she doesn't forgive any type of betrayal and can easily sever someone from her life as fast as she can gain them.

Something she can't attest to, but is happy with the light blue eyes that she inherited from her paternal grandfather Niclas. As she was brought up in a circle filled with elites, she always maintained a neat appearance, with her hair usually tied in a half-pony tail and her nails trimmed short. Despite wearing from the softest of jumpers made from wool to the itchy lace dresses she had to wear at tea parties, she always had the snake-shed skin necklace under her collar.

BACKSTORY Reducio Loyal. Hardworking. Gentle. Ezra is the prime example of a Hufflepuff (and the exact opposite of a lawyer), although most of his family thought he was a shoo-in for Gryffindor for his intolerance of injustice and his chivalry. Ezra is close with his extended family, particularly with his younger sister Diedre, as he served as her guardian since the death of their da, Niclas. He went to Hogwarts and met a Ravenclaw witch who had received a Howler from her parents about choosing a 'proper pure-blood with breeding' to continue the family legacy during breakfast at sixth year, and she just lazily flicked her wand with a flourish and burned it to cinders. It looked to be a regular thing as the pretty girl and her housemates just shrugged the entire moment and went on talking. After an event they began dating, and after graduating, Ezra had asked the Von Thaines for their blessing so he and Reinhilde can be married. All he got was a series of hexes and curses being cast his way and owls delivering Howlers to her. When they found out that she's with child, the young heiress chose to elope with her lover and began fresh in London where Ezra decided to become a barrister, breaking the Cravensworth tradition of rearing kelpies and has let the family business to the care of his younger sister and the branch family. He diligently worked his way into the Ministry of Magic and finally managed to get a seat in the Wizengamot so he help create laws to the ever-progressing wizarding world so not only their beloved Eira can live in a better future, but for everyone else.

BACKSTORY Reducio Reinhilde Von Thaine always knew she was the black sheep of the Von Thaine family. After the untimely death of her older brother when he was eight, she inevitably became the heiress of the bloodline, much to the dismay of her parents. The willful girl was the apple that fell from the furthest branch of the tree and after it fell, it just tumbled farther away until it reached the next orchard over. Despite being raised within the elite community, Reinhilde felt more alive when she was in Hogwarts amongst her peers, which included half-bloods and muggle-borns -another reason why her parents bemoaned not sending her to Durmstrang instead. Her mischievous wit and quick quip made her popular but she kept mostly to herself as years went by, with her parents pressuring her to accept courtships from close family friends and business partners who are involved in unsavory dealings. It all changed when a Hufflepuff boy pointed out that she's braver than she gives herself credit for, and she's more than just some pure-blood heiress. Spending time with Ezra Cravensworth and his family let Reinhilde experience true warmth of familial love, and in a short amount of time, she began seeing the gentle young man behind her parents' back. The straw that finally broke the exhausted camel's back came when Ezra had asked for her parents' blessing and her father replied with an enraged Bombarda. She had pleaded with her mother to reconsider but the woman coldly shut her out. A a result, Reihilde severed all ties from the Von Thaine Clan and vowed to never let her parents meet Eira for fear that they would corrupt their granddaughter. Now, Reinhilde is currently working at St. Mungo's as a Healer and spends her days brewing draughts and healing potions... after shopping and hosting tea parties, of course. Whilst she still meets with her childhood acquaintances, they learned to be careful not to insinuate anything involving her parents for fear that they may accidentally drink something... disagreeable.
