Current Characters: Eira Cravensworth
Eira Cravensworth huffed as he lugged her trunk to a thankfully empty compartment and almost jumped to the seat. She knew that she possessed a delicate constitution but she didn't think that walking through the train while hauling her belongings posed a challenge to her.

She wished she had asked her dad to teach her about the levitating spell her mum uses while they're out shopping but she vaguely remembered him telling her that underage magic is not allowed and it would be catastrophic if she, the daughter of a barrister, would break the most basic rule.

Despite the ache of her muscles and feel Eira blew the stray brown strands from her face and straightened her pink dress, dusting off imaginary dirt from the hem. She leaned back in her seat and watched the scene of a picturesque hamlet rush by and it made the girl miss her other friends. One of them is now overseas, and the other is in a different school by which he didn't shut up about it the entire Summer.

Her special friend is off to who knows where but knows that they will be able to meet again after her first year at Hogwarts. The thought of attending the famous wizarding school made her both excited and nervous.

Her parents were both alumni of the academy and as much as they shared their school days with their only child, it made Eira feel even more confused about the houses and even more terrified when her mum told her about choosing a career by the fifth year.

Tugging on the shoulder bag her mum had bought her ('It has an Extendable Charm so you won't run out of space!') and retrieved a bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavoured Bean and a package of Cauldron Cakes. Normally she was told to limit her sugar intake, but... mum's not here.

With a sigh, she opened the Cauldron Cake first and began to dig in.

Graci was quiet as Zoe pulled her along, their bags having been handed off to a rather helpful prefect. They boarded the train, dodging people, trying desperately not to catch the train too late.
I'd hate that to be us, being late would be hazardous. Though, if I was late, maybe I'd be able to go back to Papou... no. He would tell me to get back on that train and suck it up.
They slipped in the train, looking through compartment doors to find an empty one.
"Full, full, older year students, a snogging couple, full, full, AHA! Only one girl, and she seems to be new too!"
"Alright then, Zoe. Go in, I don't fancy being trampled by giants." The giants in question were some 5'9 seventh years.
Zoe rolled her eyes and tried to open the door, it seemed jammed, but she got it eventually, falling through in an undignified flop. Her shoulders were shaking with laughter, the carpet muffling her voice, "Hi, I'm Zoe, the carpet flopper, who and how are you?"
Graci giggled, only hearing what came through the thick flooring. How on earth did Zoe already end up being on the floor.
Graci looked up, taking in the sight before her. Standard train compartment, petite girl with brown hair and beautiful eyes. Plenty of seats.
She helped Zoe up, sitting them across this mysterious, unnamed girl.
"I'm Graci, and this is my twin sister Zoe, she's usually not this clumsy. Or maybe she is and I just thought it was her being a troublemaker."
"Hey! That's not true... the door was jammed!"
"Valid."

The sound of the door being opened snapped Eira from her focus on unboxing the Cauldron Cake and without any warning, the door swung open with a jerk and a girl with a pale complexion suddenly fell to the ground.

Eira gasped and prepared to help her out when she suddenly started laughing. She looked behind and saw another girl with brown hair and a curious white streak who was laughing as well before she helped her companion stand.

The girl with tanned skin and shiny brown hair looked around and noticed her. Feeling suddenly conscious about her unseemly posture, Eria quickly straightened her posture and crossed the heels of her feet.

"I'm Graci, and this is my twin sister Zoe. She's usually not this clumsy. Or maybe she is, and I just thought it was her being a troublemaker." the brunette greeted.

Behind her, Zoe replied with a tut, "Hey! That's not true... the door was jammed!"

"Valid." Zoe snickered.

If someone were to ask how Eira would describe the sisters, she would immediately think of the sun and the moon. They looked so different despite being twins, polar opposites yet one complements the other.

Remembering her manners, she sat up and smiled at them. "It's lovely to meet you both. My name is Eira Cravensworth, call me Eira. I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself too much after that fall."

She knows that if she fell in front of others, she would run away and hide for a long period. Shifting her attention toward the seat opposite to her own, she gestured to the space and the sweets she had brought (and begged Mitzy to sneak an extra pack of Apple Rings in the pocket of her cloak, much to the house elf's disapproval).

"I have no one accompanying me for the trip, you're both welcome to have a seat and grab as many sweets as you can, I can't possibly finish them all."

A blatant lie as she can easily finish the mountain of treats before they arrive at their destination but she will happily exchange her food for a chance to meet new schoolmates.

Agnès, thanks to her height, was much more capable of slipping through people, she was unlikely to be missed if she pushed through the crowd.

Not to say she was doing much pushing more like quiet “excuse me-s”, or the occasional “pardon” as she slipped pass the compartments, like a snake in a mouse den.

As she moved through however, it became more and more difficult to find a completely empty space, she’d seen groups, each having conversations with eachother as if they’d already known eachother for years, Agnès always wondered how they did it?

The search for a suitable, quiet, completely free seat became almost an impossibility, and she found herself stopping at a compartment with what appeared to be a pair of siblings and a third girl dishing out snacks. By this point she’d been tired of simultaneously searching and stumbling and decided to quietly slip in, directly avoiding making contact of interrupting the conversation with any noise. Her eyes turned to the window beside her, and as she boxed herself into the corner of the seat closest to the wall, she watched the familiar scenery of the stop morph into new territory, the sun high in the sky and chugging of the train filling her mind.

She glances at the group again, her eyes locking on the cauldron cake.. she could really go for a snack right now.. but she also thought about a comment her mother made… ”Keep eating all those pastries and you won’t fit in those robes!” It was quite embarrassing being caught hunched over the dessert as a dragon is around gold, but Agnès couldn’t help it… it was her guilty pleasure. Of course she had to eventually tear her eyes away, lest she attract their attention… how uncomfortable they might be with her eyeing their snacks… it was an ordeal Agnès wouldn’t be thrilled to experience.

As Eira waited for Graci and Zoe's reply, there was a faint movement that caught her eye. The figure of a girl, which reminded Eira of a porcelain doll she had seen in a shop in Paris, gave her pause.

Huh, she distinctly remembered only two girls entering the compartment but she could see the stranger looking at one of the boxes of the Cauldron Cakes before shifting her gaze to the scene outside.

It would be terribly rude to offer Zoe and Graci some sweets and not invite others.

Eira stood up and slowly walked to the girl and cupped her hands on her back and offered a smile to the newcomer. Normally, Eira would give a curtsey to introduce herself, but she then remembered that she was not at one of the Ministry parties her parents frequented, just another girl like her.

And she didn't want to be called a 'little princess' again like Emile did when they first met each other. He made it clear he didn't mean it as a compliment.

"Hello there, my name is Eira. I couldn't help but notice that you're all by yourself in this corner. You're more than welcome to sit with us and have some food as well," she offered.

She shifted her weight from one ballet flat-covered foot to another and let the hem of her pink dress sway with her movement.

"It's lovely to meet you both. My name is Eira Cravensworth, call me Eira. I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself too much after that fall."
"Well hello, Eira Cravensworth, call me Eira. I'm glad I didn't hurt myself either!"
Graci stared at Zoe in horror, truly wondering how she had any braincells left... but in a loving sister sort of way. Graci lightly elbowed her, first impressions were everything.
"...Terribly sorry for her, that was rude, it's truly a pleasure to meet you."
Graci smiled politely at Eria trying not to full on start laughing when Eria herself saved her from doing so.
"I have no one accompanying me for the trip, you're both welcome to have a seat and grab as many sweets as you can, I can't possibly finish them all."
"Oh, we brought our own, but we could pool it all together and feast like queens, we brought more than enough, for both of us, I ACTUALLY don't think we could finish it in the what, nine hours, if we tried."
Zoe pulled out a sinch sack, filled to the brim with muggle candy, whoppers, nerds, Skittles, and... salt and vinegar pringles?
Zoe just shrugged at Graci, "What can I say, I'm a sucker for Salt and Vinegar chips."
A girl quietly entered and sat by the window, not speaking yet.
Graci turned toward her, only to find Eira already talking to the newcomer, "Hello there, My name is Eira. I couldn't help but notice that you're all by yourself in this corner. You're more than welcome to sit with us and have some food as well."
Well, too late for Graci to be the first to introduce herself, but there was plenty of time, and Graci had to make sure Zoe did not get sick off of chips and sugar. She was trying to persuade Zoe to let the bag go and wait for everyone else when she sighed and gave up, deciding to see what the other girls were talking about.

Agnès’ eyes boggle… did one of the girls just speak to her? She wasn’t quite prepared for that… "Hello there, My name is Eira. I couldn't help but notice that you're all by yourself in this corner. You're more than welcome to sit with us and have some food as well." With that Agnès realized she was being formally recognized and addressed, the girl before her had literally stood to greet her, I’d be rude not to speak… ah-… but she hadn’t foreseen this. She looks up at Eira, immediately trying to take in more details about her, her gaze occasionally falling to her leg, which she’d immediately crossed.

A pink dress…. ballet flats? Agnès could see the vision, and she was impressed, although.. perhaps the Express wasn’t the best place to show it off. And as she slowly entered the depths of her mind, picking apart every detail about Eira’s outfit choice…

Shoot-… she was supposed to be talking! Agnès opened her lips, eyes darting to the side again, God forbid she’d lock on for more than a couple seconds. Out came a silken, quiet voice, one that undoubtedly would be more powerful if it hadn’t been for her fidgety attitude. “You don’t have to… I’m alright..” Her expression remained straight, coupled with her words, it likely gave off the wrong impression. Of course, if she backtracked she’d only embarrass herself more, she could only hope that one of the three would see through her refusal.

And so after that Agnès sat in silence once again, her jaw now clenched, it was a subconscious thing, she hadn’t even realized she’d done it yet… what was up with her?
@Eira Cravensworth@Graci Lauren I feel like my response is sort of lacking, bear with me tho, I’m just figuring things out :sweatingbullets:

'Oh, I might've disturbed her' Eira thought as the girl looked at her with a stoic expression on her delicate face, her lips on a tight line.

"You don't have to. I'm alright" she answered in a hushed tone. The girl looked like she wanted to say something more but only silence followed.

Not wanting to come off as a pushy puffskein, Eira gave her a wan smile and nodded at her. "I see. Um, if you changed your mind we are just a skip away."

Not the best response she could give but it would be awkward for everyone involved and it hit Eira on the head when she realized that she just brushed off the twins without any warning. The disapproving voice of her mother echoed in her mind, about how unbecoming for her to ignore others.

Retreating from the quiet girl to her previous seat, she found the twins standing by the seats with the sister with the fair complexion (Zoe, if her memory serves her right) holding on to a bag with Graci telling her to wait.

"I am so sorry for leaving like that, it's very rude of me to just talk to someone else without completing our introductions," she said "I hope we can start fresh again."

She slid back to her original place and gestured to the space for the sisters. The strength of the sunlight outside the train showed that the sun is now high up; no doubt it's nearing lunchtime. Hopefully, the sweets are enough to satiate their hunger.

Grabbing a package of Cauldron Cake, Eira felt a slice of happiness as she bit into the cake with the chocolate coating the side of her mouth.

This girl seemed... hospitable. But not in a homey, come in and lets chat while petting kittens, but in a more routine way of things. Like her parents were hosting aristocrats every week.
"Oh, no mind, it's fine, I was actually just about to introduce myself to the mysterious new girl, did you catch her name?"
Said 'mysterious new girl' looked quiet, reserved and rather antisocial, though, Graci knew looks could be deceiving.
The ocean seemed calm and peaceful, then in a moment it could be drowning sailors at sea.
Graci and Zoe didn't look like they would be twins, but they were.
So, this girl could be a chatter box.
It's hot here now. I kinda wish I was by the ocean, but alas, here I am, with my lovely sister and two girls I just met.
Graci was already drafting her first letter to her parents. She sighed and looked over to Zoe, seemingly both lost in thought and undeniably present. Somehow.
Zoe didn't love the ocean as much as Graci. She preferred the school year when they were in London with 100% less water and 100% less chance of sunburn.
Graci looked back to Eira to see if she did in fact know the girls name when it occurred to her that she could just ask.

Ooc note: Zoe will no longer be mentioned in the thread due to some recent issues, she's still 'there' in a sense but will so longer be directly speaking and the like.

Agnès fidgets with her nails, the keratin glistening in the window’s beaming sunlight. They looked well manicured, but at this moment it appeared as if she wanted to gnaw them off… she looks back at the group, noticing Eira apologizing for leaving the other two girls…

Agnès felt a pang of guilt hit her… like a cannonball to her chest, not only did her little moment likely sound rude, but she’d directly sapped attention away from Eira’s seat-mates in the worst way possible. Thinking back on it… she likely could’ve worded it better, leaving it open for another offer… why was she so bad at this?

Without hearing much, she noticed one of the pair, and Eira talking to one another… then she noticed a glance head her way, her eyes averting.

’Darn… I must’ve been too rude..’ She said to herself, ruminating on the previous interaction… it felt like her mind was just running it back like a broken record… whether it was for help or to hurt, she decided to look at the trio once again, contemplating what her next move would be.

Agnès opened her mouth to speak, but seeing that their eyes weren’t on her she shut her lips, then she raised her arm and opened her mouth to speak, only to choke on her spit, causing her to wheeze… that was certainly a sight on her.
