oh yes technically it's tenor for us, since you guys still play higher regardless of what clef we're using it's still like. another octave or smth.

Did you all /start/ on your instrument? like is the one you're currently playing also your first instrument?

Yeah, I’ve played for a year since I do it with school but Ellie has been playing for a much longer time

Funny story about how I started to play the alto sax. I won’t say what grade I was in, but we had a day where everyone that wanted to start band got to play any instrument and pick their favorite. All of my friends were playing multiple different instruments, but I went straight to the alto sax. I tried it out, and I knew it was going to be my instrument. I didn’t even try any other instruments that day.

I also can play recorder and a little ukulele, but I’m not as good as I used to be since I haven’t played in awhile.

I’ve never seen a alto clef in my life??

Same! I only thought bass and treble were the only ones since my school doesn’t have an orchestra.

I started on violin at six, stopped, then I did piano,, stopped- and guzheng (a traditional chinese instrument) -- then covid hit asfgwiwurqr.. but I started cello and i've been playing for about 3 years

That’s so cool! I’m thinking about playing around with soprano saxophone once I graduate high school, but I’m still always going to play alto sax since it is not only my favorite, but also the one I’ve been playing for 6 years.
