They're relationship is a bit complicated you see. Bree has that inner child in her that craves just to rebel her pitch perfect mother. Although having this women raise you for 11 years of your life, you ought to pick some things up. They connect over their choice of fashion. Almost always overdressing somewhere. After all its better to be overdressed than under-dressed. Both prefer fancy simple black dresses, they contrast each other with the designs on them. Bree with her handmade dresses from her cousin, like simple colourful designs on them with the threads or designs stitched in there with a black that stands out from the black of her dress. Her mother, being older and all, like her dresses... a bit well more plain. Now enough of dresses. They both also strive for perfection. Bree tries not to but naturally does. Her mother has always strived for perfection for anything. They share some of the same looks. From her mother she has her palish snow white skin but her hair that's as black as ebony (if you get the reference) is not from her mother. That comes from her father. They share a similar eye shape although Brees is more almond shaped than her mother. Their smiles are they same, both soft a reassuring with full lips. Another thing they connect on is their fierce protection. No matter how much they seem to hate each other, hurt the other and you shan't make it out alive. |

Reducio Lily Jade Smith, Grey by Marriage, was born on March 14 1990. Her parents, Chaim Smith and Persephone Smith, had Lily at a youngish age so she and her parents were close. As a young child Lily had plenty of kids to play with and played with her parents all the time. Her father bought her new toys every day and her mother would take her out to shop and show her the muggle world. Although it never felt enough to Lily. She wanted excitement with children her age who didn't know of the world of magic and lived the way her parents did. Her parents, a bit old fashioned, had also started talking about arranged marriage. The muggle world had fascinated her! Especially her mother's closet muggle friend. Until she got married. If you asked Lily she would say that Cece's life was tainted by choosing a man with magic. As she grew older she found herself craving for somebody that would understand how she felt A friend. And it didn't matter who they were. Tired of what she called her parents "fake friends' she started to slither away from their grasp, disappearing every party. She started to hide everything from them, going on for years until she had to go to Hogwarts, something else her parents didn't know of. As she rapidly reached the age of 11, her parents fret that they're darling Lily would become a squib. As they constantly asked her if something unusual happened around her, she continued to say no when deep down she knew she would leave for Hogwarts one day. At the age 7 was when she had her first instance of magic. It was night time and her parents were out on a date. Her parents put her to bed and waited for an hour before leaving. When they did they checked on her to make sure shes asleep. Of course when they did she was faking. The moment she heard them leave she got up and started reading. After a little while she snuck into her parents bathroom to try to do her make up, something she learned from the older muggle daughter of Cece. Her parents bathroom, she learned, had the best lighting. Pulling out the hidden bag of makeup, Lily spent the next thirty minutes trying to make herself look prettier like the older girl. As she failed and failed, she grew angry. Letting out a scream of frustration and fury, her mother's fancy gift of muggle perfume shattered. Immediately the sweet flowery scent of it fills the bathroom with the sound of glass falling off the counter. Rushing out of the bathroom, she hid in hers and tried to scrub away the scent of the perfume off of her. Finally she layed in her bed until slumber washed over her. The next day her mother found it and asked Lily about it over breakfast. Panicking she quickly lied and said she had nothing to do with it. So Persephone decided to drop it and thought that she somehow knocked it over by accident. Right around late July she got her acceptance letter for Hogwarts. Her parents were astonished. They had no idea she had shown signs of magic. If they did they'd throw a huge party for her. Disappointed in her, her parents threw a small get together before she had to leave. |
