He had found it once on his ventures while roaming the corridors on patrols in his former prefect days. Tucked behind a dusty, time worn, faded almost to the same color as the corridor wall tapestry was a wooden door that lead to what seemed to be an abandoned classroom long lost to time. Simon often thought of this as "The Forgotten Classroom of the Second Floor" during his prefect days. Now, when a headquarters needed to be established for his new upcoming club, PULSE (Pioneers of Universal Life-Saving Enchantments), this seemed like the perfect location for a "Hidden Healing Haven."
The high-arched windows offered good lighting, especially when the heavy curtains were pulled and secured aside. Old, but sturdy, tables lined the back of the room with a chaldboard in the front - ready to be written on once again.
With a few cleaning enchantments and some old-fashioned work, Simon had the windows gleaming, the work stations polished, and the cabinets cleared and cleaned.
This rediscovered sanctuary would be an ideal haven for a club devoted to magical medicine. This would be a place for budding healers to study spells, concoct restorative potions, and share techniques for all things healing.

Starting a club at the very end of the school year wasn't ideal but this was when the time had presented itself. Hogwarts was in need of a club for magical healing - whether one was interested in a future career in the field or just interested in it as a hobby or to learn more about the magical world.
Simon laid out snacks which included various flavors of lemonade along with an array of what he had labeled "Tonic Tarts" - mini fruit tarts with labels promising "Cure for Fatigue," "New Friendships," "The Gaining of Knowledge, or "Memory Restoration." These little pastries would unfortunately not necessarily live up to their promise in themselves but they would be delicious as they were shipped from Simon's Aunt Maggie's five star bakery/bookstore in London.
When others were all gathered, Simon would make a blanket announcement to all. "Oy, fancy using your magic for more than just duels and detentions? I hope you'll consider joining PULSE, Pioneers of Universal Life-Saving Enchantments. It's a club for witches and wizards and halfbreeds who want to learn more about magical medicine - who want to love, tend, and heal. We will meet on the third Saturday of each month, beginning at the start of the new school year. I have already arranged a field trip to St. Mungo's over the summer on Saturday, July 19th at 2PM for those who can and wish to attend."
"Thank you for coming and I do hope you'll choose to join. Do enjoy the refreshments and the Tonic Tarts on the table to my left. While they might not actually provide you with a cure for boredom and fatigue, bring you new friendships, grant you knowledge, or restore and strengthen your mind and memory - perhaps PULSE can."
His pitch for his club had been made. Simon gave a smile to all and then retreated from the front of the corridor so he could get a glass of lemonade and mingle with those who came.

Welcoming those that came and hoping to persuade them to join.
Open to interaction.

Graci had always been 'a lover not a fighter', but it was more like 'a healer not a fighter'. The pranks and problems were usually caused by Zoe and Graci just smoothed things over, healing the issue, in a way.
But she'd always wanted to be either a singer or a doctor. The two didn't necessarily work together, but those were her passions that had withstood longer then six months.
She loved singing, was alright at it too, and she loved helping people.
That was why she signed up for this 'PULSE' club. Well, not the only reason but the main one. The other reason is because she wanted another social thing. Which didn't really work because she was behind on some of her homework, but that was besides the point.
She was walking through the halls, as she normally did, and wondered what all the things they would be doing. She didn't read through the whole announcement, but she was hooked immediately.
Graci was humming, trying to remember where it said the meeting was. Ah... right here!
Upon entering she knew this was the right place. She wasn't the first one, but there weren't too many people. Eventually, though, the place filled up, and what must have been the leader of the club gave his speech.
If she wasn't hooked before, she definitely was now.

Thoughts: italicsA smile bloomed on Kailtyn’s lips as she entered the abandoned classroom. Scratch that … formerly abandoned classroom. It appeared that Simon had done a good job of cleaning it up to set up these meetings. If she had to be honest, she had no idea what she wanted to do when she graduated from Hogwarts. Could she see herself as a healer? Maybe. But she had no idea if she’d choose that career path. Her desire to learn about healing was, for now at least, about trying to see what she may be inclined to pursue during her remaining years at Hogwarts.
No matter what she pursued, Kaitlyn knew she wanted to help people. Healing certainly accomplished that. In addition to her confusion, she was also a muggleborn, so she had to decide in what part of her life she really wanted to follow a career path. As such, the young Slytherin knew that she wanted to have as much information as possible.
A bright flush bloomed on her cheeks, however, when Kaitlyn took a couple of Tonic Tarts. One was labeled ‘New Friendships,’ while the other was labeled ‘The Gaining of Knowledge.’ Was this wish fulfillment or some other type of idea? She hadn’t a clue. But … she had to admit … the treats were tasty! She also took a small cup of lemonade, as well.
The young Slytherin smoothed out her skirt as she sat on a chair. She absent-mindedly played with the buckles on her sandals as she listened to Simon’s speech about the club. It sounded interesting … then again, most things did to her!
After taking a sip of the lemonade, Kaitlyn’s blue eyes drifted nearby, noticing a familiar face. She had seen Graci a few times now. She stood and approached the Gryffindor girl. “Hi, Graci!” She smiled at her. “Interested in healing, too?” She asked.Reducio

Second Floor, Hogwarts
XXXThe afternoon was quite pleasant, beckoning to the lovers of sunlight to spend time outside. Unfortunately-- or perhaps fortunately-- Eonaria had a new club to attend to. She had been surprised when a new club popped up, but after reading through the description, she signed up without a second thought. After the Healers' Internship had been disbanded, Eonaria was eager to get back into the subject of healing.
XXXEonaria hurried down to the second floor, approaching the formerly abandoned classroom for the first meeting. She was glad that it had been given such a wonderful use. There are quite a lot of abandoned classrooms... I wonder if there used to be other subjects taught there? The day had started off well, and she was hoping to keep it that way. Eonaria entered the classroom, smiling shyly at the people who were already gathered there. There was a fascinating array of refreshments and 'Tonic Tarts,' which seemed a little dubious. Do they contain potions? I highly doubt that this will actually create new friendships. Eonaria examined the little labels curiously, looking around.
XXXOnce everyone else filed in, the leader of the club, an older Hufflepuff she had seen a couple of times from a distance, gave his introductory speech. Wait, PULSE stands for Pioneers of Universal Life-Saving Enchantments? That's... quite the name. Pioneers is an interesting choice of noun, but alright. Eonaria lit up in excitement at the mention of a field trip to St. Mungo's. It's in the summer, though... I'll have to see! She was already drafting out what she would say to her parents to convince them to let her go in her mind.
XXXEonaria nodded slightly as the leader confirmed that the tarts did not actually provide such effects, giving his speech a mental stamp of approval. That was a good speech! Personable, friendly, a bit of humor, but still effectively promoting the central point of the club.

Graci was happy when Kaitlyn came up to her, asking if she was interested in healing.
"Oh, yeah, I am. I mean, I'm really interested in everything, but healing is a big one. I'm assuming you like it too, you did come here, after all." Graci chuckled a little bit, everytime she bumped into Kaitlyn it was enjoyable, she was really nice, even though Graci didn't know her too well.
"We need more people to heal, after all, with the amount of reckless people and the fighters." Graci really liked helping, feeling most fulfilled when able to do something. She could either be the 'mom friend' of life of the party. If she actually had a solid friend group, that is.
She gazed around, it was a really neat place, and she couldn't believe that it had ever been abandoned. It had a beautiful atmosphere, some random dust particles shining in the rays of light slipping through the windows.
There was another person, multiple really, but this particular one was closest to them, and most likely a few years older than Graci.
"Heyo," she said to them, "You interested in healing too? Well, obviously, but what makes you love it?"
