Closed Healers Internship

The Background
Kelsey Brumby, the School Nurse as of September 1st 2021, established a program called the Healing Intern Program. He founded this so student would learn how to heal people in a more practical environment and it was initially intended for third year students or older as they would have begun their learning and studies gaining healing spells and potions.

Maybe to his own pride, if he knew of what he had done, in where Polonius Frogge, Emery Featherstone, and Dusana Sabo had continued the program, maybe he would be overjoyed or proud of how his program is going to create brilliant healers in St. Mungos or other wizarding hospitals.

What Do You Do?
During your character's free time, they will be helping out in the hospital wing but should there be disrespect with the position they are given or with the patients they are dealing with, they will be removed from the program (in character, of course.) and/or will be given detention.

A standard student in the Healer Internship will be allowed to say or do the following
- You volunteer in the hospital wing in your free time
- Claim that you have practical or hands-on experience with healing
- Perform healing spells on patients in the hospital wing assuming there is supervision
- Administer healing potions and balms on patients in the hospital wing assuming there is supervision

You cannot say or do the following with the role of Healer Intern:
- Perform spells or administer potions without supervision
- See the medical files of patients
- Take potions, balms, syringes, blankets, etcetera without permission

The Groups
To ensure everyone gets a chance to learn and apply practical knowledge and see healing and treatments in action, Octavius created groups, so that everyone had a chance to learn and to put into action what they have learned.

Everyone starts at Group 1, but it is where First and Second Years remain until they learn healing spells to move on. In Group 1, you will be learning about illnesses and their cures, but you will primarily be watching Octavius or another approved Healers Intern student from Group 2 or from Group 3 do their healing on a patient.

Group 2 have earned Octavius's trust and are allowed to administer potions and cast spells as well as treat people, but only on weaker injuries or wounds, such as a bruise or a cut. These students are typically 3rd-5th year.

Group 3 have Octavius's full permission to do whatever they want with all of the patients, however, they are, like with all other groups, not allowed to see the students' medical files for privacy purposes. These students are typically the ones that are in 6th to 7th year.

OOC
An additional thing that should be mentioned is that you will not know healing spells years ahead of you if you do not already have the spell in your trunk, so please do not say you know how to cast and cast them, do not claim you have abilities you do not have or aren't approved.
