Currently writing one right now. I hate it when make other people wait, but sometimes circumstances happen and it is inevitable. ;(

You don't really have to. The vital use of an encyclopedia is simply to allow other roleplayers to understand your character better. Most codings are done so as to customise the experience for yourself and potentially for others to get a feel of the vibe you are going towards. This said, it's not very hard to learn how to code. Whilst it may not be for you, there are several other people who are willing to even go beyond and help you code your encies, for a few galleons of course
