Cheating moves in quidditch were a bit of Lavinia's style. She was typically very accurate with her hits and was able to execute them without the referee noticing. However, the moves got significantly harder when she was close to passing out and on someone else's broom. Her and Quinn went for the cobb against Elsian and came up short. It was okay for now since the snitch stayed out of Elsian's hands and Jorah sent a nasty bludger his way, but Lavinia was frustrated. Sure they had reduced most of their players to shared brooms, yet it seemed like Aly still hadn't spotted the snitch. Alerting her team of the next strategy, Lavinia refocused herself to win the game. Ravenclaw could and would do what it took to win this game.

I returned from my penalty lap and it seems that it didn't take long for the game to get out of hand as multiple of our players were reduced to sharing brooms or were knocked out of the sky. The score was 30-70. We didn't have any offence this round. All of our beaters missed their targets and our Chasers couldn't manage to get the quaffle. The only good thing was that Elsian seems to have spotted the snitch but it's going to be harder to catch it when he's sharing brooms with Shubhanji.

Just like that the difference in points widened as Winnie scored each of her attempts. At least he was still airborne and conscious so he could try to do something about it, but his hopes weren't very high. The only way this game could be won was through a big slice of luck and hoping that Elsian would be on top of his game. Everything else would just be putting off the inevitable.

Winnie clenched her broom, sweat lining her brow as she managed to grab the Quaffle and score 50 points. It wasn't much, but she knew it would eventually add up. Her eyes scanned the field for Aly, biting down on her lip as she watched her. 'Come on snitch, let Aly catch you so we can end this early.' Before she ended up losing her lunch.

Aly may not have seen the snitch, but Elsian also hadn't caught it. She felt a surge of hope as the Gryffindor seeker went down, only to feel (perhaps rather rudely) disappointed when he was caught by another player. She could only watch in horror as Elsian's poor broom plummeted down to the Earth. Remiss as she was to wish a foul on her own team, she wished that Jorah had been forced to take a lap for that. Or maybe 6 or 7. Perhaps 14.

DEBUFF FOULS

Last round's miss would be not deterrent for the Ravenclaws, instead upping the number of birds diverted to this mission. Quinn & Lavinia found that their coordination still hadn't sorted itself out even with a slightly new target of Elsian and Shubhangi. Much like last time, their stumbling would keep them out of trouble as the watchful eyes of the referee failed once more. Winnie was the new attacker against the Gryffindor pair, showing her teammates how it was done as she swooped in with some harsh jabs against the two. It would be enough to disorient them, a sharp pain across recent bruises. Unfortunately for Winnie, the attempt was a little too good, an angry whistle alerting others of the foul that had taken place. "Winnie Harper! Penalty Lap!"

CHASERS

Andy, a Keeper, would be the only one of his peers to make an attempt at the quaffles, the competition gone and hoops free to score a number of points for Ravenclaw. The first would be particularly impressive as two successive shots flew through the rings, but he seemed to slow down upon future times, realizing that there wasn't a need to drain energy at the current moment. Perhaps later rounds would have some more excitement for Chasers.

Despite the fall, Elsian still had his eye on the snitch as he directed Shubhangi towards where the golden flicker had last gone. Finding and catching a snitch was no easy feat, especially not for those without training as the two could not get close enough to grab the snitch. Amidst the flying bludgers headed their way, they would have to give up the task in hopes of staying on their broom a little longer. Aly, on the other hand, would finally catch a glimpse of the snitch- a lucky find that seemed long overdue as the Ravenclaw nearly caught up to the Gryffindors in the search for gold.

BEATERS

With both Pax and Ethan falling in quick succession, it was Oonagh next up to bat against Ebony and Jorah as they overtook the skies. The current target in their sights was Elsian and Shubhangi, a job left unfinished that Ebony would take a strike at first. A focus on precision as always, her strike hit true against Shubhangi but the Gryffindor held on with whatever strength remained. What the pair hadn't realized though was that was only the start as Jorah took a heavier hit approach, sacrificing much of his aim for sheer force. The practice, though, had paid off as Elsian and Shubhangi still were unable to escape the death path of the bludger, knocked off the broom with a deafening crack. Darkness overtook Elsian, but Shubhangi could still see the sky getting further away. Alejandro would make an attempt at saving the conscious Gryffindor, unknowingly signing up for the next strike as the bludger ricocheted towards him. Despite a first strong hit, the power hardly seemed weaker as it spiraled into Alejandro, knocked off his broom before he could quite catch Shubhangi. With another crack, he would fall alongside his teammate as the world grew dark.

With all the Gryffindors fallen, Oonagh made a plan with the intention to enact revenge against the two that had ended the flight of many lions. If lined up, both Ebony and Jorah could get hit- perhaps enough to get them down as well or the start needed to chip away. Unfortunately, while preoccupied by their own bludgers, Ebony knew when to steer clear and when to go for the strike- the speed behind Oonagh's would be too much to handle without the risk of injury, so the Ravenclaw would keep out of reach. Revenge would have to wait a little bit...

Despite their lack of success, Quinn & Lavinia were a threat- one that needed less than legal tactics to remove. Kora & Finnegan, now also a pair on a broom, would be the ones put up to the task, sidling their way over to the Ravenclaws as though searching for a quaffle before aggressively rushing towards the eagles in an attempt to throw them overboard. They would find no people unfortunately as Quinn & Lavinia out-maneuvered the Gryffindors, their reward only a whistle from the referee. "Kora! Finnegan! Penalty Lap!"

The game went on, and nobody found the snitch. The Ravenclaw's seeker seemed spotted the snitch, which was great, and on top of that, Andy scored 60 points for Ravenclaw. The first six points he every scored in a game to be exact. Even though Ravenclaw was winning by a good margin, the game wasn't over, and it all depends on the seeker. But, that does not mean that Andy will stop defending and scoring if needed. He was still focused on making those shots through the hoops, since every detail mattered. If Andy scored enough points, even if the lions caught the snitch[15o points] then Ravenclaw will win. But for that, Andy NEEDS to score more points, and defend the hoops. He got ready to go on a scoring spree, because now, every hoop mattered. The game is not done.

Ophelia heard a very familiar voice calling out someone's name, though it wasn't hers. For a split second, the Ravenclaw turned away from the game and towards the spectator stands. That was where she caught sight of her roommate @Brookline Quinn cheering on their house with full enthusiasm. On the off chance that her friend would see her, Ophelia waved wildly before turning back towards where her attention should've been all along.

It seemed like in the few seconds that Ophelia was focused somewhere else, things had taken a turn for the better, at least for the seekers. The Gryffindor seeker was knocked out of the game, and the Ravenclaw seeker had seemed to finally have spotted that flash of gold. Perhaps this would be another game in which Ophelia wouldn't have to step in.

It's never easy to see one of your own fall, much less see a few of them. Although Meyra had always been someone who found a way to keep her emotions under control, relying more on finding ways to rationalise things and trying to achieve her goals through a good strategy, the young girl couldn't help but feel her frustrations emerge as she saw the opposing team gaining ground and advancing in their victory.

Not that that result wasn't expected by her since the beginning. The Ravenclaw team was far more experienced than the still very young Lions. But even if numbers were not in their favour, she wouldn't give up fighting for her team and giving her best on the field. It was her first time being called to action, and she would show everything she could give.

Riding her Silver Arrow, Meyra flew through the skies towards her designated position. Ready for anything that would soon be thrown at her, ready to prove herself she was worthy of being part of that team.

Nicholas's face was a mix between frustration and anger as he watched Ravenclaw's plan go off without a hitch. He wanted to help, wanted to do something or anything to assist his team in the match, but he couldn't, not from the bench. He bit at his lip, trying to fight down the feelings of complete inadequacy and impotence. But he had hope, he had to, they'd win, they needed to.
