Welcome everybody to the grand remaster of Little Acts of Kindness!

With Inara away on a much-needed break, I'll be stepping in as Leader for the club To those brand new to the club, allow me to give you a big welcome hug! *snuggems*

The original thread will remain up and unlocked (unless I'm informed otherwise by staff/admin) - Inara's worked hard to set this up and I'd like to respect the OG beginnings

However, THIS is the thread for sign-ups and chatting with your fellow members, so if you're looking to get in touch with me or your club buddies, this is where you ought to be!

Any ideas for RPs, activities or gift sharing are always welcome!

Hi everybody!

So I've had a little idea sitting on the back of my head for a little while - I was initially going to follow through with it as a separate club but I feel it would work as a "sub-division" to Little Acts of Kindness.

It's an IC agony aunt type of service - students will IC send their letters anonymously to a hidden part of the school that only the members of Little Acts of Kindness will be aware of (eg. a nook of a wall or the inside of a tree trunk). It's then up to said members to read these letters and answer them, fulfilling the requests/questions/advice the anonymous students are seeking.

Now before we dive into this idea, I want to make sure that this interests most, if not all members of the group - there'd be no point if only one or two other people were interested. In Little Acts of Kindness, our good will should be unconditional

Also, if anyone who is familiar with or is in the Headliner, perhaps they could help give some clarity if a service like this already exists - I don't want to accidentally rip-off something that the Headliner already does (same goes for any other chats/threads etc) - in which case the idea will be shelved.

Otherwise, let me know your thoughts! And if anyone else has any ideas for RPs, gift-giving, IC group meetings etc, you know what to do!

I think it is a great idea, but I also believe it has already been done by members of the Hogwarts Headliner, so it might seem and sound like a rip off. These are my thoughts; I suggest checking previous issues of the headliner to verify my suspicions.

Okay, so as far as I've seen it's not in every issue, but for the sake of independency I'll have this strictly for self-help and mindfulness - letters can IC be about mental struggles, worries, overcoming anxiety, anything else that falls under that kind of category (but uber sensitive topics which don't need to be said here won't be accepted as it would go against site rules). The Headliner will always be its own thing and I unequivocally respect that. Ours can be like a nightline service but with changes to it.

Thanks for the heads up! Will re-tweak the idea behind the scenes.
