my (future) roommate works as a camp counselor and we were talking about how similar taking care of kids is to taking care of the elderly in the sense that its just listening to them talk 95% of the time

True!

I did volunteering for family events in my teen years a couple of times. Talking to kids, while amusing at times, just doesn't really add anything new to what I already know

Older folks however, is just like acquiring new wisdom. I remember talking to a really nice guy and was telling him how I "wanted to be a writer." He turned round to me and said "no, you're going to write." He just knew I wasn't confident but he was able to fix it just like that

aww that is so lovely and he knew you were gonna be great at it too!!!<3 i love kids and older folks equally but im really bad with kids LOL

I LOVE KIDS!! I would love a job in daycare or something, just because being around younger kids is so fulfilling to me.

I use a quote on most of her banners, “throw me to the wolves and I’ll return leading the pack” and that's basically her in a nutshell, a confident girl with a love for danger and pranks

Oh don't get me wrong I love kids as well! Back when it was snowing last year I threw snowballs up in the air and let them fall back down again. Played a game called "Up Down" with a wee toddler with it
