Promise Gardener wrote: 12 Jun 2024, 00:29Recently things have been going on at my school, and in my friend group. Really, we're all really good friends and we get along very well, I can't remember the last time we argued! But, me and my friends always sit somewhere at recess and just really talk, and hang out and all, but a couple days ago, this kid in my year has been coming to sit with us and "talk". It's kind of awkward when she's there, and I don't really enjoy myself because *sorry* she's a bit annoying, and rude, but she doesn't notice it. My friends are really polite and all, so on the first day when she came and asked to sit with us, they were like "sure" but, we didn't really talk much that break. Then, it happend second break too, she came over to us in the halls and asked again to sit with us. At that point, I was feeling a bit suspicious about what she was getting at. I guess she could just be lonely, but actually I happen to know that she actually has some really nice friends, except the only problem is that she constantly picks fights with them over the tiniest things, and there still willing to be her friend, but I guess it's kinda her fault that she considers herself "Lonely". Today, she didn't even ask to sit with us, as if it's just a regular thing now! I kind of feel like she want's in on my friend group and If I'm to be honest, I don't really want that to happen. She isn't really like my friends, so I don't want a new member, especially a rude one that picks fights.
Sadly, next year I will be moving schools, so I'm a bit worried that she might replace me, and that my friends will eventually forget about me and stop considering me as a friend. They've been very sweet about it, and they really care, but who knows, maybe she will celebrate to having them to herself. My friends understand about how I feel she wants to be part of my friend group and all, and that entrance keys just can't be passed out willy-nilly, and they agree with me on some notes, like how she's a bit rude, but they consider it like it's just passing through and she'll eventually leave us alone. I doubt that.
I understand as well. After first grade, a really annoying and rude girl left(who was not in any shape or form in my two friend ‘groups’ I was in) and for a few years from 2nd to 4th I felt like I was everyone ’s good friend. I was pretty tight in my two friend groups but when that girl moved back in 5th grade (less annoying tho but even more ruder) and she kinda plopped herself right in our now one friend group and made herself like the one who decides what/ where to go. Its like you can't just mass yourself to the top of in our friend group. I was knocked all the way back to the bottom of the friend group. Sorta like the outsider but sorta not. Tho my friends hate her, and the girl hates them back too! This year, my friend group and I would sit at a 8 chaired table, where that girl and two friends of our friend group couldn't sit. But that girl would always sit unless she was with a teacher. It hurt when she would take my friend or I’s spot in the group. Tho now our friend group is kinda split in half but I’m with better friends now.
If your friends accept that girl then forget you, its ok, but I know its gonna hurt. It hurts when we lose our friends that we’ve had for life. Maybe like Anne said, maybe they'll just open a new space for that girl, maybe they will, maybe they won’t but if there your real friends they won’t replace you with her. But if they do replace her, then you’ll have a fresh clean start, with new friends who just might be your best friends? But you be loved either way, but I sure hope this helps you Promise![]()

I'm not sure wether they'd forget about me much, but I feel like they might eventually grow a stronger friendship with each other, and I might be left with friends who don't care as much. Thanks Brookline!
Thanks Anne, I know now that my friends won't forget about meAnne Stay wrote: 12 Jun 2024, 14:31 If they are your real friends they will never leave you, when you think about it think about those long-distance friendships that usually these friendships never end, I have some friends that I met them this year, yes they had a friend in their group who went to another school, but in the same way they are still best friends only that I joined the group but I know that I will never replace anyone, It's just going to open up one more space in my friends' hearts for me. I hope these words help you.

Hi people!
Just a reminder: You are awesome. If things are not coming your way, don’t be afraid to take a deep breath and go forward. Challenges are there for a reason and sometimes, things go better than we think. Just keep going. You can do this!

*sighhhh*
Just needed to come and crash here after arriving nearly an hour late for work. Had a bad night and slept in as all. Work said it was okay but was then given a list of "reminders" - "remember to clean this... There are a few marks here..." Now bare in mind, I'm expected to do all these student rooms within a time limit and some of them need a literal soak if they're to be done properly. That's how bad it can get. Not all the time but sometimes. Other days, it's a breeze like yesterday was.
Uggghh... Seven more weeks of this dang job...

Listen, this job may be difficult, boring, or just definitely not what you want, but it is for the best. With this job, you can (maybe idk) get some money you can invest towards more meaningful things and after these 7 weeks are over, there will be more roads you can follow with your new-found experience. Bad things occur in our lives so that better things can come, you cannot realise something is good without seeing the other end of the spectrum! Better things will come, I’m sure!Emily Shephard wrote: 23 Jul 2024, 09:36 *sighhhh*

had the worst day everrrrrrrr explanation below:
honestly idc if you read this or not
im part of a club which isn’t just a swim club, we have other sports as well as well as many many changing rooms. the club is hugeeeee also so mind that. this lady was also like not even 18 and we’re all a year or two younger (not comfortable sharing my age)
on Monday there was a girl who started complaining that we talking loudly and all (we weren’t) and then she told the girl in the changing room, the one responsible for the cleaning and everything and she "talked in a serious way" to us. the girl who complained that she had fought said that she saw us every day making a mess, so we left. then today, we went to take a shower and she showed up. then today she complained again and called the janitorial office. then she was asking for our name and registration, then I gave her my name and I don't know if they'll call to give us a fine or warning…
I kind of just wanna text her now. Or what ever

First things first, Vi, there are a lot of bad people in the world. That girl who said you were making a bunch of noise (when you didn’t) is a jerk and probably wants to lower your status. I honestly think the administration shouldn’t do something yet. If that one girl complained, they should search it more. Are there other people who, on their own account, saw you making noise? That other girl she told in the changing room can take sides, but not the administration. If they have sufficient proof from more than one person, then they might/should do something. If not, they should consider the fact that her claims might not be valid. Things will get better, I hope you find justice.Violeta Roux wrote: 8 Aug 2024, 00:22 had the worst day everrrrrrrr explanation below:
