Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it):
Wandmaker Application

Wand wood: Acacia WC=340/50
Reducio
Acacia wands usually choose subtle people who aren't looking to put on a show. Mahlioz is exactly like this - she doesn't need nor want the attention, and prefers to stay out of the way and on her own. When she performs magic, it is never to show off but to produce something useful. The young Slytherin only uses her wand when it is needed, not just to show people how great she is.
Wands of this wood are often honest and stay true to themselves. Mahlioz always tries to tell the truth, even if it could get her in trouble. This does not mean that she is always telling people what she thinks of them - in fact, it is quite the opposite, as she tries not to interact with people. But if she feels that a piece of information is too important to withhold, or if someone asks her a question, she is truthful and honest. She tries never to lie, even to herself, and corrects herself mentally whenever she feels like she might be being judgemental, biased or insincere.

Finally, these wands pick loyal owners, which is a trait Mahlioz definitely has. She will always stick with her family through thick and thin, and will never give them up Don't mind the rickroll whatever happens. With friends, it can be a little different, because Mahlioz hasn't grown up with them. But if she feels that she can trust someone enough to call them a friend, or even a best friend, there is no doubt she will trust them and stay true to them for (almost) ever. When it comes to objects, Mahlioz dislikes change and usually likes to stick with things for a long time. She hates it when her clothes get too small or when something in her room breaks and she has to replace it. She even sometimes devellops a bond with objects... and since the wand has something of a concience, she will persevere through anything with it and will stay loyal to it forever.

Wand core: Horned Serpent Horn WC=337/50
Reducio
Horned Serpent Horn cores tend to select owners who have a cool head on their shoulders. Mahlioz knows how to control her temper, and even when she is mad (which doesn't happen often), she stays calm and uses logic to get through the situation. This core also chooses people who are willing to fight with themselves and the people they care about. Although Mahlioz may be shy and can be quite a people-pleaser, when it comes to her family and friends, she will do anything for them. If they are in danger she can and will fight to save them, whether it is physical or behind the scenes.
Wands with this core seek owners with great intellect and who are sensitive to the emotions of others. Mahlioz spends most of her life reading and she loves learning with a passion. She does whatever she can to get more information into her brain. Mahlioz is quite the introvert, on the other hand, and would much rather be on her own than spend time with people. This does not mean that she doesn't understand them, though. A lot of the time, she can tell when someone is saddened even when they try to hide it. Though she rarely knows what to do to help them in these situations, she can tell that something is wrong and knows how to figure out people's emotions.
People with this core are nearly always honest about their feelings and use their creativity and inventing skills to help others. Mahlioz would always prefer being on her own to helping others. But when the opportunity arises, whether she likes it or not, she always finds herself trying to figure out how to help. As mentioned before, the girl always tries to stay honest. Finally, Mahlioz is also very creative and can usually be found inventing worlds and magical creatures that do not exist, which sometimes helps her figure out solutions to problems no one else could.

Wand length: 23.68 centimeters/9.32 inches WC=72/50
Reducio
Shorter wands usually choose more refined wizards and witches, who don't care so much about being dramatic and lively, but prefer keeping to themselves. Mahlioz is an introvert who has a hard time interacting with other people, let alone acting and being dramatic. She would much rather do useful magic than do good-looking magic, and spends most of her time on her own trying to either improve her skills or learn something new.

Wand flexibility: Slightly bendy WC=106/50
Reducio
A wand's flexibility usually reflects its, and its chosen owner's, amount of adaptability. Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair. Mahlioz is open-minded and ready to listen to other's thoughts, but tends to stick to her own beliefs unless given reasonable and sturdy proof not to. She is therefore slightly bendy - able to be influenced, but only slightly and with enough proof. Mahlioz also tries not to judge too quickly, and listens before making up her mind on who is right and who is wrong in a situation. She can bend a little both ways.

Wand history: WC=120
Reducio
Mahlioz's maternal grandmother, Maeve Fenlix, was a wandmaker before she retired. She was quite good at her job, but unfortunately she still had many leftover wands from it even when she stopped working. Although she was no longer making wands, she did sell many of them to other wandmakers and individuals who were looking for a wand that was not too expensive. When Mahlioz got the owl from Hogwarts, Alarian (her mother) decided they would go have a look at Maeve's remaining wands before going to Diagon Alley, just in case they found the perfect wand there instead. And they were lucky they did! The wand and the girl now have a great bond that will grow stronger through the years.

K is a boy who has grown up in a family of wizards. Both parents are were students at Hogwarts. Only one of them (the father) dedicated himself to a magical job (wandmaking), while the mother chose professional cooking until she became a restaurant manager. Despite this, the magical studies that formed an important part of his parents' daily chores were not alien to him since he grew up until he was 11 years old observing articles related to magic, learning about magical creatures, and also observing ingredients or potions. Like all children with curiosity and the desire to experiment with objects and new things, there were many occasions when he accidentally grew his own foot by wasting some strange substance, or got a bad stomach from eating a component in poor condition. Over the years his interest in these things, which could have led to any other area of magic, seemed to focus on magical ingredients.

I imagine Koi as I used to be, taking every opportunity to mix oils, liquids like shampoo, glue, paints, and fill bottles with these mixtures until he had enough flasks to start his own collection.

Instead of developing an innate talent for potions that would bring out qualities for the job of potioneer, given the boy's personality, it is more appropriate to conceive his resistance to noxious substances. In his environment and with such a willingness to experiment and discover new reactions between compounds, taking into account that he is a character with a slightly more normal interest in books (not so dedicated), both due to interaction with some substances and to his knowledge of these, it can be said that he is an ideal candidate to possess said ability.

In the future, Koi will continue to develop his skills in the art of potion brewing. The skills he acquire later will be similarly aligned with this studies and personal trajectory. And I do not rule out the possibility, if he turns out to be a good student with a solid and constant focus, that he may acquire a determining skill for said study and practice. Initially, as part of late character development, more long-term than immediate, in a much more progressive context, I see resistance to poisons as a characteristic of a potion brewer made through experience. And finally, say that anyone with some work in any area develops basic principles and tolerance for the difficulties of such areas, making this skill something perfectly understandable in that context.

Name of Ability or Race: Metamorphmagus
Why it fits my character:
The Walker Family has an extensive history of unique and rare wizards. While not a fully pure-bred family, many of these traits still appear. His grandmother had apparently inherited one of these traits.
Jude has a memory with his grandmother, specifically a memory of her pupils becoming that of a cat's after Jude mentioned how much he'd wanted a cat. It certainly improved his mood for the day.
During fights with his brother, his eyes would glow brighter, which was likely one of the first signs of the trait to appear.
Jude can recall as a child that being upset would cause him not to be able to see, as if his skin had grown over his eyes to protect him from seeing things he hadn't wanted to see.
One time, he had wanted to reach the cookie jar on the high shelf for him and his brother. At that moment, he had gotten quite flustered and somehow managed to grow a few inches to reach the jar.
On Halloween, Jude was missing a costume. He wanted to be an elf, so he pulled his ears as far as they could go, and they stayed in place. He threw on some antique clothes he had in the attic and went out with the coolest outfit in town.
When he was embarrassed and didn't want to be seen, he shrunk a few inches and was able to hide in his already oversized hoodie.
Once, Jude felt very dysphoric and got quite angry with himself. He could've sworn once he looked at the mirror, his chest felt flatter and his face more masculine. After this, he consulted his mother.
His mother told him about the trait, and she tested him over the next few months.
After a while of triggering his emotions, it occurred to her that Jude had likely inherited the trait. After all, she had witnessed many unexplainable transformations that could only be explained by being a metamorphmagus.
As for the reason Jude inherited this trait, it seems his grandmother passed the trait to his father as a carrier, and his mother also carried the trait, so Jude got a full set of the genes and inherited the ability.
Jude had never been able to fully control it, but it seemed that if he truly desired something, his body would listen. Despite his efforts to control his emotions to get exactly what he wanted, he still couldn't control them, so he gave up and let his magic do its thing. He found it actually a lot more loyal that way.
I feel like this would fit Jude considering how emotional he is as a character. He never hides anything and makes everything known, so if his emotions were visible physically as well as by his words and mannerisms, it would make him a much more meaningful character. If it just comes out sometimes, it would probably let others catch onto what he's thinking or feeling at any given moment, making him easier to read. As a trans man, it might also benefit him and make him feel better, a stroke of good luck amidst all the chaos and bad luck that is his life.

Argahlon is a very adventurous person and always has been and because of this, the young red head was able to spot things the normal eye couldn’t. With hours and even days under his belt on endless adventures, he was able to find hidden paths that lead him to places quicker than normal, or even finding a variety of valuables alongside the paths. This happened only a few times during his adventures, but the things he found were priceless to him, Argahlon just enjoyed a good walk out in the middle of nowhere.

His parents noticed this little ability when Arg was about 5 years old. Argahlon and his parents were out on a picnic, enjoying the nice weather and view by a lake near their home. It was late in the afternoon and the sun was beginning to descend from the sky above. The young boy was running around in circles and playing tag with another kid whose parents were having a picnic of their own close by. There were sounds of an owl coming from the trees to their left, but nobody could spot it in the multi-colored leaves. Arg stopped playing tag to notice the eye’s of the owl blinking slowly within the tree. It was brown, so the creature blended in VERY well, and Arg was the only one to see it, until he pointed it out to the young boy that was there with him. This was the first moment his parents noticed Arg could be special in his own sense.

The second time, Argahlon’s mother had lost her earrings, thinking that their cat once again picked them up to hide them with its toys, but that was not the case this time. She searched up and down the house, every floor, counter, and cushions on each of the couches. Unfortunately she was not able to find it anywhere, so she asked her Husband to help and there was no luck there. Finally, she built up the courage to even ask her son, Argahlon to help in the search for her missing earrings. It took about five minutes for the young red head to spot the glimmer of the diamonds from the earrings just under the pillow of where his mother slept. “MOM! I found them!” Not only was he happy and excited, but so were both of his parents. This is why Argahlon would make a great Seeker on the Quidditch team. His knack for spotting things others can’t is something he uses more than he realizes.

Caoimhe's childhood consisted of watching her siblings and other family members compete in improvised, mock tournaments in the backyard while she stood on the sidelines or played dodgeball without the use of magic. She was originally annoyed and resentful that she couldn't take part in the duels, but after some time she came to the realization that seeing her brothers engage would educate her more than anything else ever could. For the better part of her childhood, Caoimhe was unable to participate in wizarding games of this nature because she was under the impression that she was a squib. Yet, she would repeatedly practice movements with a stick acquired from the backyard in the expectation that this would in some way induce her to gain her initial encounter with magic.

Following the milestone birthday that exposed her true nature as a witch, she did not waste any time in diving headfirst into the practice of spell casting, quickly achieving a level of expertise that was much beyond her years. She was able to accomplish this by imitating the movements and incantations with the wand that she had seen her brothers perform in the past. Due to her excellent control of magic, her brothers believed she was more than ready to participate in mock tournaments; but, despite their insistence, she swore she was unfit of doing so. Caoimhe's opinion of her own abilities was undeterred by anyone or anything, but she took a great deal of pride in her persistent determination to get better.

When Caoimhe and her family visited to Diagon Alley, she did not waste a moment in looking for books that would help her perfect the skill of jinxing and casting charms. The Book of Spells, Jinxes for the Jinxed, Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed, and The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection were some of the titles that were included in this collection of books. She made the request in spite of the fact that a child her age would have no use for such books, but she insisted that either her mother or her brothers buy them for her regardless of the circumstance.

It did not take her very long to learn everything she could from her collection of books, and she soon began to practice her ability on a level that was more intermediate after that. It began off as nothing more than practicing a variety of moves on training dummies, but when it came to moving targets, she started to see a fault in her technique. Caoimhe had a lack of aim, leading in her spells to not always land on the intended target.

Caoimhe and her older brother would construct a game that was comparable to Skeet shooting, which is a muggle hobby in which participants use shotguns to attempt to break clay targets. However, instead of using a gun, they would use a bow for their competition. Caoimhe would have to take aim and release an arrow in time for it to hit the target before the object that was thrown by Collin landed in the air. It began with large objects, but as time progressed, it shifted to ones that were smaller in size.  They also engaged in regular archery practice, with the targets being made more challenging by reducing their size, distance, and, at times, being charmed to move more swiftly so that Caoimhe's skills might be improved.

Before she even set foot at Hogwarts, Caoimhe had honed her skills in general casting as well as accuracy over the course of her life. She maintains her wits by routinely practicing solo in the outdoors by repeatedly throwing an object into the air and then casting the levitation spell before the object lands.

Name of Ability or Race/Talent that you Are Applying for: Prodigal Potions Learner.

Describe why this fits your character: Alana was around the age of five when the young girl went with her mother Romana Dibble to Diagon Alley. The duo ended up walking past the Apothecary where their was a cauldron brewing most likely nothing really, but the shop caught the young fiery red haired girls attention. Alana ended up dragging not literally after all the young five year old was much shorter then her mother who stood fairly tall for her age around the height of five feet and six inches tall. Romana being the kind woman she is let her young child drag her in to the Apothecary. Once entering the shop full of potion ingredients lined on the shelves with cauldrons bubbling along with the smell of fresh potion ingredients wafted though the air. The young five year old stared brightly up at her mother her sea-foam blue eyes lit in curiosity. Thus a love of potions began to stir inside Alana. Romana decided their would be no harm to start teaching Alana the basics. Mainly just reading books of course the girl was five so she could not read very well. Alana's mother had bought a few potions book. Once they arrived home Romana would read these books to Alana every time she wished to read it or wanted to soak in the knowledge that is potions making. The older Alana gotten the more the young fiery red haired girl would try and urge her mother to let her use the families cauldron to make a potion. Though every time Alana would ask she would be told no each and every time. Though it did not stop the young girl from reading and researching potions. After all Alana wished to be prepared by the time she started Hogwarts. Potions the young girl knew would be one of her favorite classes besides History of Magic. Alana continued studying Potions even taking any of the Potions books that her brother Maxwell know longer needed use of especially after he no longer needed them for the new year for his schooling. On Alana's tenth birthday she awoken to her family down stairs, behind her family was a few amount of presents though Alana was not one who care about receiving gifts she enjoyed more handing them out. Though the first thing that caught Alana's attention was the brand new cauldron that rested on the living room floor. The fiery red haired girls sea-foam teal eyes sparkled excitedly letting out a squeal of excitement Alana rushed forwards investigating everything that her family had bought for her. Both of her parents agreed Alana had proven to them she could be responsible to start learning to make potions of course under their supervision. Alana figured she would be prepared well for Potions when she started at Hogwarts, but the young girl was even more excited to start making and learning new potions herself. During the summer Alana worked on many beginner potions like the Herbicide Potion and the Bruise Removal Paste. Of course she was never left unsupervised her mother was always around watching the young girl and correcting her if she were to make a mistake or was about to add a bit to much and of course her mother had to stir with her wand after all Alana did not have a wand to use or practice with at that age. Alana's love for Potions burn brightly inside of the girl she always seems to brighten up learning new potions and along with making new potions. To Alana she felt like Potions is a necessary thing to know it can heal and do many great things and even things that nobody could understand. But Alana knew exactly what Potions held greatly and the importance to it. That is why her love for potions grows day by day.

Many people marvel at Kiana, despite not having known her for long. She turns heads wherever she goes and many people complement her parents for raising "such a dignified, beautiful, polite young lady." She was everyone's role model. Yet, Kiana didn't quite think so. She lived in an odd wizard family with strict parents in a desolate house far from muggle civilization. Even worse, she was different, at least in her father's eyes. Her father, Pierre Toussaint, attended Hogwarts as a Gryffindor, and a proud one to say the least. He held his daughter to sky-high standards and expected Kiana to be sorted into Gryffindor.

It didn't sit well with him when Kiana wrote that dreadful owl saying she had been sorted into house Slytherin.

Even Kiana herself cried that night in the common room, wondering what was different about her and if she would turn out okay. But deep inside, she knew her secret.

It started on a foggy evening when Kiana was ten. She knelt in the soggy and moist grass of her backyard, marveling at a beautiful grass snake that had wandered into the family's space. The snake was a frequent visitor of the family and, as Kiana predicted, was female and already built a nest somewhere in a dark corner of the garden. Breeding season loomed. Kiana knew her mother, who had a deathly fear of snakes, would find out eventually and was quietly contemplating what to do with the snake. She didn't know how to handle snakes and could not relocate it, and besides, she didn't know where she'd relocate it to anyways. She did bring food to it every day - little scraps of veal or morsels of chicken - so the snake probably wouldn't be pleased anyways. Kiana already formed a strong bond with the snake and couldn't bear to let it go. She'd given it a name: Mobius. A fitting name, though she wasn't quite sure where she'd gotten it from. A book? One of those cryptic stories Pierre used to tell? Either way, it sounded cool to her. Most importantly, she loved snakes. In fact, she loved all sorts of strange creatures and wondered if she could finally see a goblin or a house elf in person one day. While others gagged and screamed at the sight of snakes and insects, she simply admired their sublime beauty, a gift bestowed upon these creatures by nature. Perhaps she appreciated some things that others simply didn't see.

Perhaps she could hide Mobius just a little longer...

Just then, the porch door creeked open and Kiana froze in place. She heard the unmistakable sound of her mother's sandals against the smooth, firm wood. Kiana slowly stood up, paralyzed with fear and hoping for the tempest to pass soon. Mobius was still right behind her, clear as day. Her mother froze and shuddered, trying not to scream in front of her daughter.

"What are you doing out here?" Her mother asked, rather calmly.
"Getting some fresh air, Ma. I promise it's no big deal. I'll go inside," Kiana offered, slowly sidling towards the door. Her mother hesitated.
"You were plaything with the snake. So, you will get rid of it." Her mother said firmly, olding Kiana back. She felt the lump in her throat rise and tried to avoid eye contact with her mother (and the snake).
"Please, Ma. It's an innocent creature, I promise it means us no harm! It'll go away, and it's not venomous! I did my research!" Kiana argued. Never had she imagined that she would talk back to her mother.
"Get rid of it, now!" Her mother half-screamed, backing away as the snake hissed and made it's way up the porch. Kiana could sense her mother's fear rising and felt some pity. She remembered the story her mother told, about how her (her mom)'s little sister was killed by a snake.

Just then, a hiss escaped Kiana's mouth. She could hardly comprehend what she was doing and what kind of lingo she was speaking.

Please, leave my mother alone. She hissed softly, and for a moment she realized.
Parseltounge. She was a parselmouth.

Very well, my child.

And the snake slithered away.

Anna saw beauty in everything. In flowers and nature as a whole, in books, new and old, in dresses and precious gems. And of course in her grandmothers paintings. From a very young age she loved watching her grandma paint, bringing beauty and life to whatever was that day’s muse. She started looking at the world like it was one giant painting. Everything had some sort of beauty, be it aesthetic or haunting. So much beauty surrounded the girl that she grew accustomed to it, she searched for beaty like a painter searched for his muse, but she held no deeper feelings for it. She could see beauty in others as well, but all she thought about when spotting someone beautiful or handsome was how they would look on a canvas. Which colours would her granny use, what pose would she draw them in, what aura would the painting spread around itself.

She grew up in a big and loving family. Her parents and grandparents held nothing but love for one another and for Anna the most. She thinks of love as something that is natural, and everyone has it in themselves. She surrounds herself with friends and shares her love with them. She is protective of everyone she holds dear, because to her friendships are something to be cherished and nurtured like a flower you planted and it’s now blooming in your garden.

She has seen her parents kiss many times, they were always affectionate to one another and it never bothered her but she never felt like that was something she wanted to do. For her hugs and cuddles were more than enough. Flowery language and swooning over someone else felt strange to her, and no matter how many people she has seen do just that or act differently around someone they liked, she never understood why. It felt like she was giving more love to someone else, and she didn’t even like the thought of that.

For Anna beauty is the essence of ones soul, how they act when no one is watching, how they treat their friends and how they see life. She acts the same towards all her friends, sharing her love with them and enjoying their company. She is no pushover and she sees the bad and ugly in other people but she tries looking past it in favour of seeing the hidden beauty within she knows everyone has. Everyone has a radiant and beautiful soul, it’s just the matter of how they express it.

you've grown up with magic at your fingertips and a family reminding you of a wellspring of it because you are pure-blood. it's why your parents pulled away, why they keep you from them nowadays but as young toddlers, they didn't know any better. you end up in a rural home and a community filled with like-minded witches and wizards and a tutor who is able to show you and teach you magic. you study it with cerulean gaze, the mechanisms in place (as much as a young mind can grasp such a large concept) you seem like a natural, at least for the elements they can share, and foster your love for all things magical and wizardry.

You end up one day having to shadow your mother as a nurse in their town hospital, the magic is palpating as they conjure, call, and beckon their powers for notorious good. It’s the way your father does his own good work at the ministry, although no idea what department he works in exactly. You suspect that he could be an unspeakable despite him saying he was in transportation but ultimately, you know his heart and how both of them fight for what is good. You decide in that moment that you would do the same. Magic is constantly around you and you can feel the remnants of each spell cast and incantation at play joining into your very own existence. You can’t tell how or what but it feels as though you are inheriting a legacy of power from your ancestors and your community throughout your upbringing.

while at hogwarts, you even notice it within the others. The magic simply flows a bit better within you for certain things - spellcasting seems natural for you, it’s something that effortlessly comes forward in time of need but the more mundane or complex tasks like history or potions continue to stay foreign on your mind. It’s as though there’s a very specific throughline with spell casting, charmwork and the like that he can follow for practically any spell that helps him achieve success that he can’t explain the process to others - something simply and solely for his own mind to understand.

One can only hope that in time, this magic boon, if that’s what you want to call it, would wholeheartedly lift his abilities and not just the ones he already had the most interest in (funny how something like that would work)

Hi, a few things need to be changed before I can approve this.
1) You are a pureblood and so would be home-schooled before Hogwarts. Unless you are referring to a muggle primary school, and then the question would be why, since he is a pureblood. You could always say he was tutored instead.

Odilon Wilde began to notice the effect he had on people very early on. It was a lingering stare that went on just too long to be natural, that was how he often noticed that it had taken effect; The mouth dropping just a half-inch open in surprise at the beauty that stood unflinchingly in their presence.

Odi had noticed this indefinite quality in his mother as well. Many children think their mothers are beautiful, but it was the way that complete strangers would fall to their knees in front of her, unable to even speak in the presence of such a delicate artwork. Odi had long become fatigued by the adulation he had come to know so well, but his mother seemed to lap it up every time. She would toss her hair back with laughter and continue about her day when encountering worship and praise from a new face. This frustrated Odi. Sure, it's fun to get flattered occasionally, he thought, but isn't she tired of it after all this time? These conflicting feelings vanished, however, when Odi realised it wasn't just praise he could get out of his magnetism.

Simon and Odette Wilde had tried in vain to prevent Odi from having too much exposure to the general public for this very reason, but with a son who defied their instructions at every turn, this proved to be an insurmountable obstacle. The first time he snuck out of the house, he had come back from a shop with arms full of sweets that an endeared shopkeeper had given him out of sheer kitsch charm. The second time it was a hat that a muggle banker thought would look better on a head like his. Odi would often return home from his excursions into muggle and magical high-streets decked out with trinkets and freebies given to him by strangers who were none the wiser about the young boys heritage.

Enough was enough. Odi's parents sat their son down one morning and told him the truth. His mother had come from a long line of beautiful beings known as the Veela. She had lived for many years in a community of these beings before she had left to join a touring ballet company where she eventually met Simon.

The revelation did not exactly come as a shock, but rather a confirmation of something which Odi knew but did not have a name for. Discovering the truth almost felt like permission to go even further. He learned quickly how he could turn on the charm to get what he wanted out of people, and there was often little that his parents could do about the situation. Odette had started work full time as a fashion designer, and so did not have time to talk sense into Odi, and though he did his best to hold firm discipline, Simon often found his parental love for his child amplified by the Veela magic that surrounded his son, meaning that Odi often got away with more than he should've.
