Gryffindor students, you have been moved up! Please contact me if there are any issues.

Today marks the commencement of Hufflepuff's graduation. Congratulations on this great achievement.

Please note that due to the process being done manually, your profile card will not display the updated year right away, but you will see it by the end of the day. For those who have decided to stay back and redo a year, there is no need to fret, as it has been written down to ensure your request is done.

If a permission is missing, do not hesitate to reach out to me in order to get it fixed.

Graduation Completion

Accounts should be graduated to the next year, if your account was graduated erroneously, please reach out to your head of house or myself. If your account should have been graduated and they have not been graduated, please reach out.

For those with pending applications for registration, we are offering members a 2 week grace period to complete any requested edits. Please work with the staff to make any requested edits in a timely manner. Some users need to make multiple edits, do not wait until the last minute.

As we begin a new school year, the annual common room and sorting threads have been refreshed!

Sorting Ceremony

Maintaining the momentum of the past two months, the Slytherins have proven that they are not the type to give up. Leading the pack with 2006 house points, they have secured the cup for the third month in a row! In second place, we had Ravenclaw with 1503 points; in third was Hufflepuff with 1398 points. Finally, Gryffindor accumulated 1020 points.

The top three earners for the month of June were Henry Holbrook of Hufflepuff with 179 points, followed by Josh Ericson of Ravenclaw and Luuk Tjin-A-Wing of Castelobruxo with 166 points each.

The top three earners will receive 3 gold chocolate frog cards of their choosing, plus 102 unopened chocolate frog cards. The members of the winning house who earned at least 6 house points will receive 102 unopened chocolate frog cards.

THE CAMP WHERE IT HAPPENS

The summer has rolled in once again across wizarding Britain. Hogwarts has closed its doors after another year, students have returned home, and families are reunited as another magical summer begins. But, this summer, something feels… different.

Across Britain, peculiar reports have begun to circulate.

Portkeys have malfunctioned without explanation. Ministry records have gone missing. Magical creatures have wandered where they shouldn’t, and whispers of classified information reaching the wrong hands have left Ministry officials scrambling.

The Ministry insists there is “no cause for alarm.”

… Few seem convinced.

Some of you may have noticed that it was possible to have a GIF avatar for a few days but that it is no longer working. Zach (our site’s founder and coder) decided to disallow the use of GIF avatars to improve accessibility, as some GIFs are not suitable for all users’ needs. Apologies for the inconvenience.

POTIONS: NIGTHROOT ELIXIR

In line with the recent update on Werewolf Special Talent, we are pleased to introduce a new potion, Nightroot Elixir. This potion will hopefully open up new storytelling opportunities surrounding lycanthropy prevention and treatment. All characters will be formally taught about the elixir in the fifth lesson of the Seventh Year Potion class. The announcement regarding the class update can be found here. The brewing instructions have also been updated in the Potion System. The item has also been updated on the shop in the Potions forum. Please note this rule about using an item in roleplay. Potions Q&A, my owl and Discord DM are open for anyone who has any specific questions about the potion.
