Appearance: Confidence exudes from every facet of the boy, and this is further accentuated by his attention to detail: a short yet well-maintained afro with shaved sides, meticulous skincare, jewelry, consistent workout routine, and crisp, form-fitting garbs of various wizarding and muggle styles. Standing 5'7", Alphonse is brawny and slightly taller than some of his classmates -- at eye level with his mother, his height, dark brown eyes, and sturdiness being few of many traits inherited from his father. According to his mother's sour remarks, Alphonse is not dissimilar to his father in many regards, boasting his strong jaw, lethally charming smile, dimples, pouty and full lips, and smooth, healthy cheeks.

Personality: Not only is Alphonse the spitting image of his father, but his mind is also akin to him, so the boy assumes from his growing list of dissimilarities with his mother. He is described as a high-energy conversationalist, exuding cockiness, arrogant demeanor, and social aptitude that goes without flaw. He is deliberate and maintains a decent sense of most social and various kinds of situations, but Alphonse's deep love of himself begets him to act unapologetically himself even if the situation does not call for it.

History: Born to the shamanic and historic Toussaint genealogy, Alphonse would be a spoiled and deeply proud young boy. The Toussaints, both respectable and ancient, asserted more history through tales shared over generations, though there is little concrete evidence to verify truths from fable; one thing that is for certain is that the Toussaints are among the first of wizarding families to emerge from the island of Hispaniola. Alphonse would be the firstborn son between Armand, a deceased Hit Wizard, and Sarai, Hogwarts Herbology Professor and third daughter from the marriage of his grandparents, Ionna Ortiz and Bamidele "Bami" Toussaint.

Alphonse, his twin brother, Briar, and his mother, Sarai, would live off Haiti's southern coast near Jacmel in a home that sported bountiful gardens, stunning views of the Caribbean coastline, tomes, and trinkets collected and passed down between generations. Their family home would be a short walking distance to their grandparents' village, by whom Alphonse and Briar were partially raised and spent most of their childhood alongside relatives and cousins. As Sarai progressed further in her academic pursuits, the more perilous her plant collection became and the less time her new profession would offer the woman to assume the role of a mother to Alphonse and Briar. Thanks to the aid of their grandparents caring for her progeny, the young girl continued to immerse herself in the study of Ritual Magic and Herbology, believing both practices could be integrated into her expertise as a Herbologist and Healer.

Both the boys would grow rather ignorant about why their mother alienated herself from the rest of the village and the rationale behind Sarai's rather cold and secretive ways. It was not until Alphonse aged that he became privy to rumors surrounding Sarai and his non-existent father, soon thereafter routinely stirring up trouble with his mother for answers. It came as no surprise that Alphonse would receive little response midst his meddling; Sarai preferring to keep the killed corrupted Hit Wizard named Armand and his adultery a secret.

Despite his and his mother’s shaky relationship over the years, Alphonse still had a decent childhood for the most part; Sarai would also become a better and more-available mother between their adolescence leading to Alphonse and Briar’s preteen years, but the boy wouldn’t let her early “shortcomings” as a mother die down. The boy had a penchant for talking back, sports, and landing himself in trouble. His favorite memory, and ironically his first instance of magic, was midst playing a basketball with his cousins; he’d catch the ball thrown to him, but somehow his touch ignited the ball into flames. Adults would swiftly extinguish the crisped and melted ball with a snappy incantation, and to this day, the boy would keep the burnt basketball as some sort of trophy knowing he’d be a legend.
