On the other hand, the Ranvier family were known only to have one child each generation for an unimportant unknown reason. Aurora lived in a well off family, Lilian is a freelancer illustrator for muggle publication, and Alexander was a healer at st Mungo's.
Canterbury is Lilian's hometown, and to heal from the trauma caused by the war, Lilian and Alexander decided to live in the muggle world after they graduated back in 2001. Unfortunately, Alexander passed away when Aurora was only two due to the complication from his old physical injury caused by the war.

History

Aurora Celestia Ranvier is a half-blood witch who grew up in a muggle surrounded neighbourhood. Born from a loving family, Lilian Ranvier (nee Hartono), a muggle-born witch and Alexander Ranvier, a half-blood wizard. The Ranviers came from a long descent of purebloods who are against blood prejudice. On the other hand, a distant family in Russia, the Makarovich was and is still holding onto their blood purity. The only known Indonesian muggle lineage came from her grandfather, though they pulled away since Lilian attended Hogwarts/ Neither of both families reach out to reconcile. With a little bit of British, French, Russian, and Indonesian mixed together into Aurora, she could not speak any other language other than English with a little bit of French. Thank you to the Ranvier senior for teaching her some common french words and terms.

Adding a person into the family was hard. Especially when the girl had never get proper closure for her father’s passing. Shortly after she turned nine, Lilian decided to tie a knot with a muggle man named Joshua Alloway, or Josh for short. While her mother changed her last name to her new husband’s, Aurora, on the other hand, wanted to keep what she had left of Alexander. The amount of hatred from the little girl for the new stepfather was a little too much from normal. It was not like he was mean to her or any of that sort, his mischievous nature sometimes poked her sensitiveness. A little nickname such as ‘little witch’ could burn her blood. Though, as she got older, hopefully, she could see the good man within him without being blinded by her unreasonable fury.

A late bloomer in magic was what Aurora experienced. Seeing that her daughter might not have the magical gene inside, Lilian decided it was best to let the girl live a normal life like kids her age. Education is important, whether or not later in the future she would get a letter to attend Hogwarts just from her parents. Growing up without many friends was not a problem anymore. One person to confide in and play with was enough, she was Naomi Skyler, her next door neighbour, and is still a friend of Aurora even until today.
About one year before letting an unwanted man into the house, Aurora discovered that her mother was seeing someone. Being an emotional kid, a lake where her father proposed to Lilian became her place to ponder. And it was the place where Naomi and Aurora’s friendship started to blossom.

Their path crossed when Aurora was in such a vulnerable state. Unbeknown to her knowledge, it triggered the ability that was buried within for years. Rocks and dried leaves started to move up and down, back and forth, depicting her frustration. The movements were settled, nothing major, until Naomi came with the intention to calm her down from the news. A pebble accidentally flew towards the muggle’s direction and hit her forehead. Shock, confused, but excited from the sight of Aurora just did something out of the world, they bonded over the odds.

The Hartonos

Lilian Inora Alloway (nee. Hartono) was born on 23 February 1983 in Canterbury, England and was the second child of a muggle couple Taufan and Celestia Hartono. The firstborn, Finneas Hartono, was four years older than Lilian. Taufan moved to England from Indonesia when he was 19 to pursue his degree in Medical Science and was in the same class as Celestia. Taufan worked as a pathologist while Celestia was a Histology Technician. Lilian and her parent knew nothing about the wizarding world until she got her Hogwarts letter in 1994. They were reluctant to let Lilian attend Hogwarts as they thought it was a scam. When they stepped their feet in Diagon Alley, they were astounded and excited to know more about the connection between magic and science. However, Lilian’s relatives from both sides thought witches were evildoers. While Celestia’s family still come and visit, Taufan’s family decided to cut ties with them.

Lilian got sorted into Gryffindor. She did particularly well on every subject except Potions. She lost many Gryffindor house points because she kept messing up with her potion mixtures. In her second year, she helped a Hufflepuff boy who fell into the black lake. That Hufflepuff was Alexander Ranvier, and they began to date on their fourth year. A couple of months before the war, The Hartonos went into hiding and remained missing ever since, making Lilian swore to fight in the battle of Hogwarts for her family.

He was panicked and almost drowned, but a young Gryffindor went into the lake to help him without thinking twice. The Gryffindor was Lilian Hartono, and he was in love with her ever since. They dated in their fourth year, fought in the battle together, and married in 2003. He later became a healer at St.Mungo’s until 2011, when he finally said goodbye to his family to go to the afterlife. Since the passing of Alexander, Antoine and Henrietta moved to Colmar, France but constantly exchanged letters with both Lilian and their grandchild to catch up on their life.

The Ranviers

Alexander Waldeyer Ranvier was born on 8 April 1983 in Colmar, France but grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, since he was 4. He was the only child of Antoine Ranvier and Henrietta Ranvier. Antoine, a pure blood graduated from Beauxbatons and moved to England because of his job as a curse breaker. On the other hand, Henrietta was a runic translator who graduated from Hogwarts. She was a half blood, sorted in Slytherin and was a bright student, especially in Ancient Rune. They were both met each other in a muggle world when Henrietta jinxed Antoine as he was reading the daily prophet on a train. The muggles around were confused to see the moving images on the prophet. Alexander grew up to be a cheerful and loud kid. It did not take a second for the sorting hat to sort him into Hufflepuff. Other than his family and his friends, one thing that he loved the most was transfiguration.

The Alloways

Joshua Benjamin Alloway was born on 23 December 1979, he is just an ordinary muggle, a good citizen, like most people. Nothing special about him. Grew up with only his mother and sisters, lived in Belfast for his entire life, went to muggle schools and ended up working as an aircraft engineer. He is a big dude, a really intimidating person with tattoos all over his body, but he has such a hello kitty heart. Joshua has two older sisters named Bethany and Helena (Beth and Hel for short). Bethany, the eldest, married a woman by the name of Mabelle. She loves to bake, always send many pastries to the Alloway/Ranvier’s house. It was not good, but Mabelle put a lot of effort into it, so everyone will say that they taste spectacular. Helena, the other sister, is a single mother of a really annoying boy (according to Aurora) named Noah.

He’s three years older than Aurora, keep asking why she dropped out of school and decided to move to an unknown school in Scotland. Josh and Lilian kept saying that Aurora moved to a Scotland private school and pretended to be deaf when anyone asks further questions. Back to Joshua, he used to work part-time as a hairdresser back in his university time and exceptionally talented at it. Joshua, or Josh for short has a dream to open up a hair salon in the future. Being a big fan of the Simpson, his future salon will be named ‘Curl Up and Dye’.
