Quidditch Mahoutokoro-Uagadou-Durmstrang vs Ilvermorny-Koldovstoretz-Castelobruxo - Summer 2026

Atticus was nervous to say the least. He never really grew up around quidditch, only hearing about the game scores for the professional teams through other students. So this was something new, a new curve he has to learn on his own and hopefully from the experience of his teammates. Well, Atticus only hopes he does good during this game, and doesn't make a complete fool out of himself and his team.

Irina Zvereva hadn’t played Quidditch for a long time until she joined the team, near the end of the year. How she was chosen to represent the school in an international event was a mystery of its own. Especially as a first string seeker. She had studied hard about the sport, even though she had started to despise everything magic-related. It was ironic, for a girl who once aced her classes and was a top duellist. However, it felt like her only escape in a reality that was dwindling all her happiness and excitement and making her sulk. For one of the last times in the world of wizard kind, even though she didn’t know it yet, she was proud. Proud of Koldovstoretz.

Shion was very excited for this game, that is until she learned she's only a second-string chaser, her plans of knocking people off their brooms, whether friends or foes, were unfortunately put on pause for the time being. Unsure whether any of her teammates is going to fall off their broom soon, she decided on plan B, if she can't knock them off their brooms now, she can at least rub the loss in their face later, the opponents obviously, because clearly her team is the one that is going to win, if she feels particularly kind, she might just offer some advice, or bertie bott's every flavour beans if she had extras after giving her team some.

And if they don't win, it's surely because her team was playing by the rules, or because she didn't get to join, but lossing is not on her to-do list for the day, so it better not happen. The only thing there is on the list for the day is "give someone or more an unforgettable day" which is clearly not meant positively, and "win the quidditch match".

Eden couldn't have been more excited if she tried. It was her very first Quidditch game, and balancing on her Firebolt felt like a dream come true. It felt like she had been waiting years to be there officially. Now that she was, the slight pains from smiling too hard pressed into her muscles. Her hair nearly glowed from its fresh pink dye, perhaps a disadvantage if someone wanted to send a bludger her way. Eden tried not to dwell on that.

Jamie was already sick and tired of this day. There was absolutely no reason for the extreme heat they were experiencing and she could only restrain herself from snapping for so long. Luckily they would be starting the match soon, and on the pitch there was no necessity for pleasantries.

She had high expectations for this years game however, especially as her team had been combined with Durmstrang, a school she had played twice so far and lost to both times. She had given them a good fight both times however and thus knew that their combined efforts should be enough to keep their opponents from snatching the win. She wouldn't even entertain the thought of losing, otherwise any attempt at keeping her composure would be thrown out of the window.

Gathering the last of her supplies and taking a final swig of her water, god it felt heavenly in this heat, she made her way over to the rest of her teammates. She'd be starting on the pitch this time, meaning that she'd be going all out from the start. She just hoped that maybe some of the other team's members got heatstroke or something, that would make their life a lot easier.

Broom: Firebolt
Broom abilities:
- In the role of Beater, if you hit an opponent with a bludger the bludger will then ricochet off that user and target a second opponent of choice at disadvantage (must be declared, if not declared the target will be random and can be an ally but not yourself). Ricochet damage is 75% of the original hit.

- In the role of Beater, if an ALLY dodges a bludger during the round, there is a 20% chance that you catch that bludger with your bat and you send it at a RANDOM enemy target.
