The emotions tied to this property were complicated for Howard. He had only know Tatiana for a few years, but her passing still left him feeling a bit heartbroken. Yes, he had connected with many professors during his time at Hogwarts and had made life long friends. So, it wasn't that it was unfamiliar to bond with someone in a deep and meaningful way. The friendship with Tatiana though? Almost like the grandmother he had never known. While she had mentored the young man there was also a care in their relationship that felt very familial. An aspect in his life that he was now very much missing.

However, that did not stop Howard from being excited about the property she had left him and the plans he had for this homestead. Much like Tatiana had done for him, he would open this home to anyone that may need a bit of time and space or maybe just a safe place to rest for a while. The property itself would be kept as a garden. Over the past few weeks he had turned this space into an area that could be tended to by the community he planned to build. Each part of the garden would be sectioned out, but it wouldn't belong to any one individual. All were welcome to plant here and take what they needed as long as they remained productive parts of the community.
