⋆ early years: Clara was born on the 27th of September, 2013. She had been told stories about Hogwarts and its houses since she was three, and even then knew she wanted to be in Gryffindor, despite her parents constantly reminding her that she was a Slytherin. She was a curious baby and often got scolded for being in areas of the family home that were forbidden, such as her father's study and the kitchen. She was educated at home, mainly because her parents wanted to be able to impose their opinions on her.

⋆ family life: Her family was very traditional, with her parents being firm believers in pure-blood superiority. From a young age, they set high expectations for her and pressured her to succeed. Her parents tried their best to shape Clara into the stereotypical Slytherin-esque daughter that they longed for, though she refused to conform and became stubborn, opinionated, and defiant.

⋆ family home: The Whitmore family home was usually quiet, the silence occasionally disrupted by fancy dinners with other prestigious pure-blood families. Clara hated being stuck inside, always feeling that the family home was more of a prison, with strict rules and expectations. Therefore, she spent most of her time outside in the woods outside the home, ignoring her parent’s disapproval.

⋆ fiom: Clara's first instance of accidental underaged magic occurred when she was 7. After spending a day in the woods outside their family home, she had come back with a heap of dandelions and had planted them in one of her mother's garden beds. Her mother had got upset, as the yellow of the dandelions didn't match the pastels of the other flowers, and had pulled them out. Clara was quite upset and went to bed. However, the next morning, she found that the flowers in her mother's garden bed (full of hydrangeas, sweet peas, petunias, and fuchsias) had all bloomed and turned yellow like a dandelion.
