𝙱𝙴𝙷𝙰𝚅𝙸𝙾𝚁

Studious, Richard is a rather calm child. He may present himself with a relaxed expression, but no one truly knows the motives behind each smile.
Richard enjoys following conversations and is often found lost in thoughts when magical languages are spoken. To him, they are codes he would love to crack in order to uncover their secrets.

𝙶𝙴𝙽𝙴𝚁𝙰𝙻 𝙱𝙰𝙲𝙺𝙶𝚁𝙾𝚄𝙽𝙳

Richard is the oldest of three children, born to a Scottish Mediwizard (Maigaidh), and a French Ministry of Magic (Diplomacy Dep.) employee (Ambroise). As he was born in Montrose (harbor city), he and his sisters are very close to their Scottish family members as well as their French ones, settled in the magical section of Bordeaux (harbor city).
Growing up, he received lessons from a very strict but passionate preceptor, Monsieur Seignet. While his parents were busy working long hours, he and his sisters explored the countryside and the magical cities with Mr. Seignet to better understand the inner-workings of the magical world. Sure, Richard can be mischievous, but his preceptor - patient as a Saint -, took great care of their mentorship. It is also thanks to him that Richard has developed a keen interest in magical language. He hopes to master most if not all of them one day.

Richard shares a very close bond with each member of his family. Might as well say they really are the center of his universe. The profound warmth and Scottish humor of his mother, and the very street-smart mind of his father are always a source of inspiration, for a boy who watched them come back home, completely drained from their respective missions. His sisters, Eloïse (7) and Daisy (4) - although incredible pains in the derrière - bring a lot of laughter and cheekiness in a world that he first felt lonesome, and heavy on responsibilities.

𝙵𝙸𝚁𝚂𝚃 𝙸𝙽𝚂𝚃𝙰𝙽𝙲𝙴 𝙾𝙵 𝙼𝙰𝙶𝙸𝙲

When he was around 7 years-old, Richard and his then 2 years-old sister Eloïse were quietly playing in the living room while their mother was watching over them, reading a book. At some point, Eloïse grabbed one of Richard's toys and forcibly threw it against a wooden table. Because the toy was fragile, the idea of it being broken angered Richard, who, after yelling at his sister, crossed his arms, his heartbeat going wild. As his temper flared, a burst of wind closed the doors and windows shut abruptly, without breaking the glasses in millions of dangerous pieces.

MYSTERY - The Missing Chocolate Frogs - ✔

↪ At the Hospital Wing, several students discover that a bag of Chocolate Frogs may have been stolen. Richard and Tala take on the task to interrogate all suspects to bring light to the matter. They successfully find the culprit and the missing Frogs. As per tradition, Richard finds a way to get one by the best way to obtain something: a willing victim of his cunning mind.

SOCIAL - Flightless Bird - Ongoing

↪ While enjoying a bit of respite with his cat Moustache, Richard bumps into his Senior Slytherin who is holding what seems to be a very frightened young bird in the palms of his hand. Although Richard initially tried to stay away from Archer, Moustache acts out, drawing the senior's attention to them.

↪ Richard develops his knowledge in magical languages. He uses the school's library to find as many tools as he can. There, he finds the names of many practitioners, including the name of a woman he has met in his younger years, back at home in Montrose. This is the start of a series of adventures.

↪ Richard received a very strange private owl, saying a certain group recognized his worth and was well interested in including him in the Pureblood Secret Society's activities. Doubtful about the true values of the group and the people invited in it, Richard goes to the first meeting, planning on gathering as many useful informations as he can.

TRI-QUIDDITCH - Hogwarts Field Day - ✔

↪ Hogwarts has organized many activities for students to try out. These activities present all the different sports available (Quidditch, Broom Racing, Duelling). Richard chose to focus on Quidditch, a sport he thinks he is terrible at. As he failed to ever see or catch the infamous Snitch, the Slytherin found himself quite determined not to spend any money on the sport and stay an enthusiastic Montrose Magpies supporter for a long time.

MYSTERY - The Dragon in the Sky - ✔

↪ A festival is held at Hogsmeade to celebrate the arrival of Summer. Many stands, visitors and students bring great life to the small village. As the evening comes, a great fireworks in the shape of a dragon errupts and brings chaos to the party. At the same time, the Ollivander's temporary stand has its alarms blaring out, which spring two Aurors into action, solving the issues at hand. Richard and Mikaela, observing the situation while having no authorization to be there, find what could be the key to find who the duo of thieves are, and where they've hidden the wand. Afterwards, distracted by a woman he recognized, Richard is caught by a Prefect and sent to detention.

↪ After being caught at Hogsmeade, Richard goes (with an extraordinary number of other students) to detention. He chooses to pair up with Skylar, cleaning up the debris. But as many things seem too good to be true, the Hogwarts Grounds fall into chaos... there are formed impromptu allies and surprising enemies.
