Escape Room Sign-up

To participate in this event, you must sign-up by the end of day in the last time zone on April 15th, 2026. Only Gryffindor students or iNPC's that were sorted into Gryffindor prior to receiving their iNPC School Group can participate. Groups should be 4-6 people, and you are welcome to form your own groups. Please ensure if you are forming your own group, that only one person posts with the list of your group members.

If you’d like to be placed randomly with a group or be added to a group that doesn’t quite have enough members, ensure that you sign-up with the individual sign-up form. On April 16th, 2026, Gryffindor House Staff will create groups and post them in this thread. The first post of the event will also be posted that day, and each group will have their own thread.

More Information

1. Only Gryffindor students can participate. This includes iNPC’s that were sorted into Gryffindor when they were first created. The event will take place during their visit in a space they can access.
2. You must be indexed but are not required to have spells or potions to participate.
3. Posts in the threads must be 200 words.
4. Group members are encouraged to post each round but are not required to.
5. Mod posts will be posted weekly until May 28th, 2026.
6. If you have concerns about being placed in a certain group, once groups have been posted, please reach out to Aiko Mori before April 23rd.

IC this event will take place on the evening of April 16th, 2026.

The event will consist of 9 puzzles that students will have to complete to escape the space. There are a variety of puzzles, and some can be solved with spells. For those puzzles that can be solved with spells, there will also be a way to solve the puzzle with item(s) around the room for those who may not have the needed spells.

Each group will have their own thread, but group members are not required to post weekly. There will be one puzzle that requires at least half of the group to post, but we've done our best to keep this to a minimum.
