SPRING ROYALTY

With the Wonderland Waltz quickly approaching, the courts are in search of this season's Spring Royals. Rally your supporters and flaunt your charm to the crowds, prospective royals. Nine schools, four crowns– Will you seize your rightful title as Spring Royalty, or be crushed in the battle for the throne?

Campaign and compete for the title of Spring King/Queen/Royal in your respective year category: Junior Court for the 1st-3rd Years, and Senior Court for the 4th-7th Years.

RED QUEEN'S LABYRINTH

Curiouser and curiouser, the night of the Wonderland Waltz proves full of surprises. Inquisitive souls who had signed their names on the sign-up sheets on the eve of the ball would have received an invitation to the Small Hall. A special key would clatter from the envelope onto waiting hands, each design exclusive to each group. Be warned, brave challengers, for twists and turns are to await behind locked doors.

UPDATE

Dear attendees,

In light of recent concerns and inquiries, there will be a change in the rules for participating in the Wonderland Waltz and the side events! We are pleased to announce these changes and updates:

Resolving Clashing Events

• The planning committee has decided to reschedule the Labyrinth and Waltz IC so that students can attend both if they wish!
• The Labyrinth would take place on 19 April 2026 from morning (10am) till late afternoon (~5.30pm).
• The Wonderland Waltz will begin in the evening (7pm), and Spring Royalty results will be announced during the Waltz (~9.30pm).

With these changes and the new timetable, we hope that everyone can properly enjoy both activities without needing to limit their experience for either

Spring Royalty Timeline

• The IC date of the pageant event is set for April 17. The event thread will be posted at the end of March (OOC), followed by an optional mod post two weeks later.
• Candidates should ensure campaign threads remain in the iNPC stay duration (IC), from April 13 to April 17. This is the IC date, not the OOC, so campaign threads would be forward-dated.
• The OOC voting thread will be posted in mid-April. The voting itself will take place IC on April 17, after the pageant event, and the results will be announced during the evening of the Wonderland Waltz, as previously stated.

These changes were made in light of the numerous campaign threads made, which we hope players will continue to enjoy for a period before the pageant event and OOC voting commences

Visiting iNPCs: Temporary Residence Matters

• Officially, international students (iNPCs) who will be attending the Wonderland Waltz will reside in cabins at the campgrounds for the stated IC duration of their stay. These are shared cabins, similar to the temporary guest yurts at the International Magical Olympic Games (IMOG) at Koldovstoretz.
• However, there will be no specific rules for this, as international students in canon lore have been observed to reside in other areas during inter-school events (eg, Durmstrang students residing on their ship during the Triwizard Tournament). As long as it is reasonable and has logical backing (via canon lore or HIO lore), we do not mind temporary living arrangements outside of the cabins!
