W. Waltz Sign-Ups Spring Royalty: Sign-Ups

Hear ye, hear ye; gather around, the beloved magical students.

We’re here to elect the newest Spring Royalty members; no matter what school you are in or what year you're in, you can be that person—the Queen and the King.
What would you do for the limited crowns? Would you dance for the crowds, sing for the applause, or play music to earn the love from your people?

You can present your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent at the refined pageant at the courtyard, April 1st.

The voting will begin after the grand pageant event. The Spring Ball Committee will announce the result on the night of Wonderland Waltz. The competitors can organize their campaign freely before the voting.

OOC INFORMATION

This is the sign-up thread for the Spring Royalty Election. If you want to participate, please fill in the form below. You must be indexed to be eligible to participate in this event. PC and iNPC are both welcome, but you can only register for one of them. This sign-up thread will be closed on 3/29 in all time zones.

There are two categories for the participants to sign up: Junior Court for first year to third year and Senior Court for fourth year to seventh year.

The pageant event will be modded for one round in its own thread; the success or failure of the performance is only for RP flavor. It’s totally optional to participate. The Spring Ball Committee encourages you to do campaigns on your own freely outside the pageant.

The voting will happen in another OOC thread after the pageant finishes.

RULES

1. There will be 2 age categories: Junior Court (first to third years) and Senior Court (fourth to seventh years). Each person is allowed to register one character for either category.
   Every user is allowed to register one character to compete for the title of Spring Royalty.
   Users who choose to register their iNPC account are not allowed to register their PC account for fairness.
2. (UPDATE) Each user can cast one two votes for each court (on their PC account).
   Example of what's allowed: Your PC character can vote for Billy and Wendy from Junior Court, Martha and Marcus from Senior Court.
   Example of what's NOT allowed: Your PC character votes for Jill, Tim, and Gary, all from Junior Court.
3. Registered candidates will be given access to the pageant thread according to their category. Each participant is allowed ONE post in their official campaign thread. There will be a spectator thread as well to make sure everyone can participate and enjoy the show:
   You are allowed to RP freely campaigning elsewhere before the voting.
4. Candidates are NOT allowed to use dishonest means to gain votes. This includes:
   Soliciting in the form of bribes (gifts for votes), regardless of whether it is publicly or privately disclosed,
   Threatening other users for votes.
5. May the most whimsical and wonderful students be crowned Spring Royalty!

UPDATE: SCHEDULE

The IC date of the pageant event will be set on April 17. The event thread will be posted at the end of March, followed by an optional mod post two weeks later.

The OOC voting thread will be posted in mid-April. The voting itself will take place IC on April 17, after the pageant event, and the results will be announced during the evening of the Wonderland Waltz.
