Our Mission To emphasize the value of learning Muggle History alongside the History of Magic, and to not only educate wizards with little muggle influence in their life, but also to improve integration efforts for Muggleborn and Half-blood wizards |

What We Look For Motivated wizards who are (preferably) caught up with their grades and are looking for like-minded individuals with a passion for preserving the rich history of muggles. Particular emphasis on those with muggle backgrounds or purebloods willing to learn. |

The MHA will meet once every two months in various locations around the school to discuss a single historical event or time period. Every meeting will be decorated and styled based on the topic. |

Muggle History Association
Name: Graci Laren
Year: 2nd
Area of Emphasis: Dead Religions [and their civilizations] {Norse Paganism, Mithraism, Greek and Roman Mythology, etc.} and like. Aztecs. I just find Aztec civilization on a whole fascinating?
Favourite Time Period: ALL OF THEM:) {the classical era as a more broad one?}
Why do you (IC) want to join: Graci is a huge history nerd. She's fascinated with it, and wants to join the club so she can see both how Purebloods see the events {she believes Muggle and magic history aren't that different, just told from different points of views} and to just learn more about history in general.

Why do you (IC) want to join: Tatiana had grown up being told of stories from the past. Generally the muggles were awfully boring to her, she had grown up hating them, of course. But something in their past had drawn her in somehow. Maybe perhaps they have much more to offer than she thought.

Muggle History Association
Name: Mahlioz Evethisawe
Year: Fourth
Area of Emphasis: mmm ooc music and weapons i'd say. ic music as well but mahl's more interested in societal structure and daily life for people rather than specific events (and art is always an interest to them!)
Favorite Time Period: both ic and ooc, ✨ the middle ages ✨ (ooc especially around the crusades, 1000-1300; ic more early middle ages, 500-800) (i also like around 1600-1700 because rapiers (the sword) are so cool and baroque music is fire)
Why do you (IC) want to join: HoM is cool and all, but an entire half of Mahlioz's heritage is Muggle and she wants to be able to understand that side too. Especially because so many historical events have had indirect effects on the Muggles she knows. Also, history used to be one of their favorite classes when they went to Muggle school, because it's just so interesting and they want to know everything.
Ideas: cosplaying as people from the time period theme 👀 uhmm otherwise it might be cool to like. for each meeting have a main song/piece from the time, a piece of art, and maybe a book/extract to read if they exist. just to get some of everything in! but i'm not sure what you're planning so whatever works.
also ooc i think it would be so cool to make a moodboard for the aesthetic of each meeting/time period/theme thingie. maybe even a collective moodboard. or themed banners. or something idk the renaissance has inspired me it's so pretty

Favorite Time Period: Tudor, Victorian, WW2, French Revolution
Why do you (IC) want to join: Her cousin had always had a strange connection with muggles. She loved their way of life, and she's do anything to get her hands on muggle history book. Whenever Maisie went to her house, she would be shown muggle history books, and she began to take an interest in it. Now here at Hogwarts, she only had one single book about Muggle history from her cousin, but she wanted to learn more.

Favorite Time Period: Middle ages, and classical ages
Why do you (IC) want to join: Anabiyah was muggle born, so the last place she would join would be a club on Muggle history association. But she wanted to join, as she could benefit the already existing memebers and tell them more about the muggle world. After the betrayal of her father( story in lore) she also wanted to improve the muggle-wizard collaboration

Area of emphasis: Architecture, art, music, weapons ornaments and don't forget the historical figures.
Favorite time period: Middle ages, renaissance period and ancient greece era.
Why do I want to join: Born in the family of Muggles, Raven lost her mother at the age of five. Her father who was a history teacher didn't want her to be involved with this subject. But, Raven as a bright kid wants to be involved with history. She wants to learn about those things which she didn't know can be happened. Now at Hogwarts, she is alone with the books she secretly took from her father's library. She wants to share those details with others who know nothing about muggle history.
Ideas: Role playing, especially skits performed from renaissances period and ancient greece era. Reliving those ancient moments through paintings, music and sculpture making.
