After writing she put the book two her side and looks outside as the train starts leaving. She feels her heart start beating as soon enough she will become a Hogwarts student and be sorted into her house.September 1st- Hogwarts express
I still can't believe Im actually going to be going to Hogwarts just like many generations in my family have. I can't wait to make new friends and have a whole bunch of fun. I hope people are nice and I get along with people. Im excited for astronomy or learning more about space. I also can't wait to meet more animals. I know for sure this Journal will be to write down whenever Im feeling down or just want to summarize what happens while Im at Hogwarts. Im hoping I get into Gryffindor or Ravenclaw but will be fine with any house as long as it's not Slytherin. I have nothing against the house its just not the one I feel I belong to what so ever. My brother may have been in Slytherin but I just don't see myself being in that house.
Im just going to be myself and make these seven years are the best years of my life. I know I got this and I have my family behind my back if anything ever happens.

Ryder was finally free. He could finally get out of the stupid place he called home. He was really excited to start his next chapter in Hogwarts, and he had a feeling that this year was about to be enticing in some way.
He got onto the train and looked inside compartments, hoping to find maybe an empty compartment. He did saw his cousins but he did not want to join them, he wanted to be alone or maybe make a new friend.
He peeked into a compartment in which he saw only one girl, deciding that he could sit here, he knocked on the compartment door. When the girl looked over he said, " Hey! No other compartments have space. Do you mind if I sit here?"
He noticed the girl had a book out, maybe a diary or a journal. It's good to write something new about your life in a diary, so you can look back and enjoy your memories. He often wrote in a journal too.
Ryder felt really excited and hoped the girl didnt mind him sitting there. He hoped to meet hew people and forget about his home life in Hogwarts. Hopefully it goes well.

As Karime was looking out the window. She had then heard a knock on the compartment door and saw a boy. She got a bit startled as she had spaced out slightly but looked over and had heard him say "Hey! No other compartments have space. Do you mind if I sit here?". Karime nodded her head while saying "Of course" and went to open the door for him. She went to sit back down and waited as the boy to come in. He seems friendly to Karime. As he sat down in front of her a bit to the left side of her she smiled and introduced herself "Hi my name is Karime Lenoir and I'm going to be a first year at Hogwarts. Are you new too and excited to see what house you will be sorted into and about attending hogwarts?"
Karime was glad someone came into the compartment as she was worried she would be alone on the ride to Hogwarts. Although she is introverted she still enjoys being around people and going to hogwarts will open up her chance of making new friends while learning all she can about the wizarding world and work her way up into becoming an auror just like her parents.

Ryder smiled to the girl as she let him in, "Thanks was starting to think I would find no compartment." he joked lightly. He slid his trunk in and sat on the bench opposite the girl pushing his hair out of his face.
The girl introduced herself as Karime, so Ryder decided to give an intro too, "Nice to meet you Karime, I'm Ryder, Ryder Hawke and this is my first year as well, I'm really excited and hoping the first day nerves dont show up and house? Well my parents expect to get into a somewhat 'proper' house." he sighed
Deciding to leave that topic he said, "What house do you reckon you will be in? And what subject are you excited for, I am really excited for Potion."
Ryder was glad that he had found someone and now he wouldnt have to spend the whole ride to Hogwarts alone. Honestly he thinks he wouldn't fit. He is very different than kids his age. They are always laughing about something and Ryder? he doesn't laughs, he doesnt finds things funny. Maybe its because of the problems at home but only his cousin can make him laugh. He just hopes things will change, maybe he will improve in Hogwarts?

Karime chuckled softly after she had heard him say "Thanks was starting to think I would find no compartment." She decided to shortly say with a slight smirk “No worries”. After introducing herself to him he had replied back saying "Nice to meet you Karime, I'm Ryder, Ryder Hawke and this is my first year as well, I'm really excited and hoping the first day nerves dont show up and house?" Karime felt happy to know she wasn't the only one with nerves and excited to meet another first year like her. She was happy to have a familiar face even if they don't end up in the same house but probably will have classes together. She continued to listen as he said “Well my parents expect to get into a somewhat 'proper' house”. He paused softly and Karime could see a slight frown as he kind of looked away and decided to leave it at that since she didn't want to make him uncomfortable or push on personal stuff.
He continued by asking Karime "What house do you reckon you will be in? And what subject are you excited for, I am really excited for Potion." Karime felt her smile grow and said “I'm hoping to get in either Ravenclaw but okay with any house except Slytherin. I don't have anything against the house as my brother was in it when he attended but I really don't see myself in that house and want to be in Ravenclaw like my mom but wouldn't mind Gryffindor. I come from a long line of gryffindors and hufflepuffs. My dad's side was all sorted into Gryffindor while my mom's side is hufflepuff but my mom kind of broke that when she got sorted into Ravenclaw. Also im looking forward to astronomy and care of magical creatures when we able too” Karime smiled but rub the back of her neck softly as she hoped that wasn't too much
She kind of looks away towards the window as she has a tendency to rant and although no one has told her anything bad about it she kind of gets shy and overthinks a bit. She looks back to Ryder and hopes he will say something as she says nervously “Sorry if that was a lot”
