Off to Hogwarts
September 1,2025
Karime was finally at the station with her parents and brother. She could see her brother soaking it up as memories came back from when he was here to attend his first year at Hogwarts. Now the places were switched as her brother would be the one to see her go off. It had been about 4 years since her brother had graduated from Hogwarts. When they got there Karime could feel the butterfly’s in her stomach. Instead of riding a train with her parents and brother to go see family. She was going alone for the first time on a train far from London. She was happy when she was able to lead the way to platform 9 3/4. As she remembers from all the times she waited there for her brother to come back from Hogwarts during his last two years. She remembers the first time she was on the platform and she was baffled by how it was hidden from muggles . They had told her about it and she learned about it but didn’t believe it.
Her brother looked at her and could tell she was nervous but also excited. He smiled and ruffled her hair. She smack his arm away and pouted. He chuckled as he said “There nothing to be afraid of… I bet your glade you get to be away from”. She looks to him and lean on his arm frowning “Just promise me you will send me owls while I’m there”. She looks to him and her parents but mostly to him. Her brother looks to her smiling but eyes frowed as he side hugs her and put his head on hers. “I promise okay. As long as you promise not to send me owls every day or once every week”. He said as he smirked. Karime chuckles and smile.
It’s finally time as she gives her parents and brother a last hug and wave goodbye. While their leaving her parents call out and say “remember to just be yourself and no matter what house you get in we will be proud”. They leave and Karime enters the train. She sees others kids and some who are in years above her. She find a compartment in the back which has no one in it. She wanted to close the door but left it open so she wouldn’t feel stuffy. She took out her journal and started writing in it
