Closed Getting a little dirty Solo Errand

Damien Dragonclaw was walking around the grounds of Hogwarts, he was currently carrying a bag of seedlings he got from his herbology professor. They were given a task to run a small and simple but also very fun errand for her, to plant these seedlings around Hogwarts.

Damien finally found a nice little spot to plant the seedlings as he crouched down and looked through his bag of seedlings, he had to admit planting brought him comfort just as much as astronomy class did as it made him think back to his mother.

Damien spent most of the summers if he wasn’t painting or looking at the stars helping his mother in her garden at their house, his mother has what he would call a green thumb when it came to gardening. She never even used magic but on a few occasions to move things around a bit but she would mostly do things manually and had Damien help her.

Damien remembers it very well as there was one specific plant in his mother garden that always fascinated him, her purple roses. He remembered when he was younger and she came home carrying the purple rose bush as she had him help her in the garden with planting it. He remembered her planting it in the middle of the garden around a beautiful statue of the greek god Hades.

Damien remember having to dig in the dirt with his bare hands and putting the bush in the ground before covering it up with dirt and patting it down, Damien had to admit it did look good one they finished planting the other ones.

Damien smiled softly to himself remembering those moments with his mother as those memories were special to him, call him a momma boy if you want but he was proud of what he learnt with his mother so he didn’t care what others thought.


He began to dig in the dirty making neat little sections before putting some of the seedlings in there before gently covering it back up with dirt and patting the dirt down evenly. He couldn’t wait to see how all of these seedlings bloomed in the future.


He began to use a watering can he burrowed from the herbology room and began adding a little water to the seedlings before he gently stood up and looked at his hands. He had to admit his hands were quite muddy and dirty same as his clothes but he didn’t mind it one bit as he was happy he got to plant the seedlings. He picked up the bag slowly before heading towards his next location to plant the other seedlings.
